The last time that Lin Fan got an extra form of pure elemental energy, his physique had become even stronger.
Even the suction force that came from his dantian became stronger.
So there was no doubt that if he took this pure wood elemental energy in, it would increase his cultivation and the suction force as well.
But to do such a thing, he needed to find a place to hide himself first before absorbing it.

However, Ye Qing Huan just said, “Absorb it now. You don’t have to worry, I’ll take care of everything that happens.”
Lin Fan looked at her with a strange look, but there was a confident look that was on Ye Qing Huan’s face that it was hard for him to deny her. So the only thing that he could do was take out a special talisman.
But before he could activate, Ye Qing Huan took it from him and activated it herself before saying, “Work with Protector Pan to secure the area around the Clear Star Sect. Make sure that no one approaches during this time.”
This talisman was one that connected Lin Fan to the two leaders of the two squads that followed him.
This was to be used when he needed to contact them, but it seemed that Ye Qing Huan was taking control.
It didn’t take long for them to agree with what Ye Qing Huan said.
Normally they wouldn’t follow the orders of someone else like this, but they knew that Ye Qing Huan was with Lin Fan and the relationship that was between the two of them
Once she finished talking to them, Ye Qing Huan looked at Lin Fan and said, “What are you waiting for?”
Lin Fan shook his head with a bitter smile when he heard this, but he listened to her and started absorbing the seed on the spot.
While he didn’t know why Ye Qing Huan was so insistent on this, he guessed that she had her reason for this.
The moment that he started absorbing the seed, he could feel the power that filled him.
It was clear that there was a resonance that happened between his body and the pure wood elemental energy that he was absorbing. It was also clear that the power inside of his dantian was growing stronger.
While this happened, there was spiritual energy that was being injected into him.
Lin Fan didn’t know where this even came from, but it filled his dantian completely.
After what happened last time, Lin Fan had already reached the High Golden Core Realm and was close to reaching the Peak Golden Core Realm.
Now that he was absorbing this seed, he could feel the restrictions that were holding back his cultivation loosening and his cultivation realm surged.
In no time at all, Lin Fan reached the Peak Golden Core Realm and it felt like he was about to reach the next realm. That was because the power that was coming from inside of him wasn’t stopping.
It seemed like it was going to push him directly into the Soul Building Realm.

After all, the last time that this happened, he broke through without a problem.
At the same time, it wasn’t as if there was anything that he had to face after breaking through.
The lightning tribulation was something that would only come when he reached the Nascent Soul Realm.

“What do you mean that there are clouds gathering outside?” Ye Qing Huan asked in a confused voice.
When Lin Fan heard this, he couldn’t help feeling a bit worried and focused on his surroundings.
He could feel that there was something that was coming from above him, something that seemed to be targeting him. This was a similar feeling to when he broke through into the Golden Core Realm.
“Why is there tribulation lightning?”
That was the one thing that everyone thought, but it wasn’t as if there was anything that they could do about it. After all, it was gathering outside and it was inevitable that it would fall down on Lin Fan.
So the first thing that Ye Qing Huan did was use her power to create a hole for Lin Fan.
The layer of dirt that was between them and the sky wouldn’t actually help Lin Fan since the tribulation lightning would break through no matter what. All that it would do is be an impediment to his breakthrough by forcing him to deal with the falling dirt.
As such, Ye Qing Huan cleared the path for him.
Once it was cleared, all that was left was to see how Lin Fan would break through.
Lin Fan suddenly opened his eyes and looked up at the clouds that were above him.
Taking a deep breath, he stood up and faced the clouds as if he was preparing to receive the tribulation lightning.
When he did this, there was a response that came from the clouds themselves as a loud crackling sound rang out as if lightning was gathering.
Then all of a sudden, the first bolt came down.
Lin Fan didn’t move out of the way, he just stood there as if he was prepared to face this head on.
The problem was that he didn’t seem to be gathering spiritual energy at all. With the way that he just stood there under this bolt of lightning, it was as if he was planning on facing this bolt of lightning with his body alone.
Ye Qing Huan wanted to say something, but she held herself back since she didn’t want to cause trouble for him.
But the moment that the bolt of lightning hit Lin Fan, Ye Qing Huan’s expression couldn’t help changing.
There was a strange look of shock and confusion that was on her face as she watched Lin Fan being struck by the lightning.
There was no clash between Lin Fan and the bolt of lightning as one might expect when it came to passing a tribulation like this. Instead what happened was something that was hard for Ye Qing Huan to describe.
After a while, she slowly muttered to herself, “It seems like he’s absorbing the tribulation lightning.”
Ye Qing Huan really didn’t know what to say when she saw this since this was something that she had never seen before. But at the very least, Ye Qing Huan could tell that Lin Fan wasn’t in any danger.
If he was in danger, then she might have done something to help.
However, with how easily he dealt with the tribulation lightning, it seemed that he would easily pass this tribulation and break through.
For Lin Fan, he was also surprised that his body was absorbing the tribulation lightning so easily. He had been prepared to release his power to resist the tribulation lightning, but it seemed that it wasn’t necessary as his body was able to absorb it.
“Just what is this strange suction force that it’s even able to absorb the tribulation lightning?” Lin Fan couldn’t help thinking to himself as he observed his body.
He already knew that this tribulation force was something that defied all logic, but seeing it do something like this really was taking it another step.
In the end, there was nothing that Lin Fan could say about this since it was beneficial to him.
The suction force absorbing the tribulation lightning didn’t seem to have any downsides for him. In fact, it even seemed like he was greatly benefitting from it as he could feel his body becoming stronger.
It seemed that the more tribulation lightning the suction force absorbed, the stronger his body became.
Lin Fan had already guessed that this suction force inside of his dantian was a representation of the power of his physique, but this seemed to prove it even more.
Since it was helping him, Lin Fan didn’t hesitate to continue letting that suction force absorb the second bolt of lightning. Even though this second bolt of tribulation lightning was stronger than the first bolt, it seemed that the suction force was able to absorb it without any problems.
It really seemed like the suction force was so strong that it could even defy the heavens.
After all, the heavens were the ones that sent down the tribulation lightning to punish those that went against the laws of nature by cultivating. Or that was what people said to explain what tribulation lightning was.
Even the third bolt was no match for his suction force as it turned into power that strengthened his body.
Once the third bolt of lightning fell, the clouds above him seemed drained.
Lin Fan couldn’t help feeling a bit disappointed when he saw this.
After all, he had wanted to use the power of the tribulation lightning to continue refining his body through the suction force. However, it didn’t seem like the tribulation clouds had anything left in them as they started to disperse.
Once they were gone, Lin Fan’s aura surged as he broke through.
“Is that it? Was it really that simple?” Ye Qing Huan couldn’t help saying in a shocked voice from the side.
Lin Fan just revealed an awkward look, but he didn’t have anything to say that could explain this either.
