The one core disciple that was following the other core disciple was known as Ying Hua and was the disciple of the Shadow King.
Other than this, there wasn’t really much that Lin Fan knew about this Ying Hua.
Well, other than the fact that she had the ability to hide herself.

It really was strange watching a person sniff the ground like this, but it seemed like this had something to do with whatever technique he was using.
After sniffing the ground for a bit, he would suddenly move in a certain direction.
It wasn’t as if whatever he was doing was wrong since the direction that he moved in gave him as little to worry about as possible. But it was strange the way that he moved forward like this.
After a while, it seemed like Ying Hua didn’t want to wait any longer.
It seemed like Ying Hua was finally going to make her move on Yue Tian as she blended into the wall with her cultivation technique.
She really did move like a shadow with the way that she blended into her surroundings. If it wasn’t for the fact that Lin Fan was using some special methods to keep track of her, then he certainly would have lost her.
It was only because she was in this dungeon that he controlled that he was able to keep track of her with all of this future technology.
From the thermal imaging, he was able to find the right moment to catch Ying Hua off guard.
When she pulled out her weapon and was about to pounce on Yue Tian, that was when Lin Fan suddenly made his move.
All of a sudden, the wall that was beside Ying Hua suddenly stuck out and wrapped around her.
Ying Hua had been focused on Yue Tian alone, so she didn’t notice the wall sticking out like this at all. By the time that she could react, she was already being pulled away from the place that she had been in previously.
Even if Ying Hua wanted to swing her weapon to break free, she wouldn’t be able to do so in time.
So Ying Hua just waited to see where she was being carried.
After being dropped off, she found that she was surrounded by holes.
This was a room that was clearly some kind of trap with the way that it was designed and as expected, there were arrows that came out of the holes in the wall.
Though she was surrounded by these traps that shot arrows at her, Ying Hua didn’t panic at all as she calmly dealt with everything that was coming at her. It only took a single sweep of her sword to cut down all of the arrows that were flying at her.
It could be said as expected of a core disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect with how easily she had taken care of this, but that wasn’t the case at all. Any cultivator that had a decent amount of power would be able to take care of this trap.
The whole point of this trap was to pull Ying Hua away from Yue Tian so that she wouldn’t cause any trouble.
It wasn’t as if Lin Fan actually wanted to injure Ying Hua since all that would do is cause even more trouble when he was trying to avoid it. As such, he wouldn’t use anything that would be too dangerous.
This was just the right amount of danger to distract her.
“It’s a trap. I guess I was just unlucky enough to have passed by it.” Ying Hua said to herself as she observed the room around her. But after a while, she took out her sword and cut through the walls in front of her.
With the way that she was moving, it really seemed like there was a specific direction that she was moving in.
For Lin Fan that could see everything that was happening in the dungeon, he knew exactly where she was heading and that caused him to knit his brows.
“How does she know exactly where he is?” He couldn’t help muttering to himself as he watched all of this happen.
After all, Ying Hua seemed like she was cutting a straight line towards where Yue Tian was even though he had already moved away from where he was before. With the way that she headed right for him, it was as if she could sense exactly where he was.
“Did she use some kind of special method to mark him?” That was the only explanation that Lin Fan could think of when he saw her acting like this. But he wasn’t able to find anything strange about Yue Tian.
Still, it would be strange if he had figured out how Ying Hua had tracked Yue Tian.
If it was a method that she used, there was no doubt that it would be some kind of special method.
But before Ying Hua could reach Yue Tian…
“Why is it happening again?” Ying Hua couldn’t help saying in an annoyed voice.
The walls had wrapped around her once more and she was pulled away from where Yue Tian was. Only this time, she didn’t appear in a trap room, this time she appeared in a room that had a treasure chest in the center of it.
“It’s a special treasure room? Is this considered good luck or bad luck?” Ying Hua couldn’t help saying to herself in a bitter voice.
Lin Fan had used a treasure room this time not just to make her less suspicious, but also to make sure that she would stay. In short, this was a bribe that he was giving to Ying Hua to make sure that she stayed away from Yue TIan.
It was just that Ying Hua didn’t seem interested at all in this treasure.
If it was anyone else, it would only be natural that they would be attracted by this treasure chest and the treasures that it could hold. However, it was as if Ying Hua didn’t even think about this treasure once with the way that she suddenly cut the wall.
With the way that she acted, it seemed like there was only one thing that was on her mind.
“How is she this obsessed with taking care of him?” Lin Fan couldn’t help asking in an amazed voice.
But what followed was a test of willpower.
Every time that Ying Hua got close to where Yue Tian was, Lin Fan would always catch her and take her away. Though the more that he did this, the harder it was for Lin Fan to do so since Ying Hua was adapting to it.
If he used the same method, she would react to it in time and dodge out of the way.
So he had to come up with different methods to catching Ying Hua and taking her away from Yue Tian.
Though it didn’t seem like Ying Hua was planning to give up for even a second.
With the way that she persisted, it really seemed like she would stop at nothing to achieve her goal.
Though it did seem like she was getting suspicious of the dungeon.
“This place is so annoying! How are there all these different things that are getting in my way like this? It’s as if this place just won’t leave me alone!” Ying Hua shouted out when she was caught for the sixth time.
It really seemed like she was about to lose her temper and use some kind of special technique with how she looked at her sword.
The only thing that seemed to be holding her back was that she didn’t want Yue Tian to notice what was happening.
After all, it wasn’t as if she really cared about what happened to this dungeon or the people of Dungeon City above. The only thing that she cared about was achieving her goal.
But before Ying Hua could break through the wall again, there was something else that broke through the wall of this trap room.
It was Yue Tian who suddenly walked through the hole in the wall to stand in front of Ying Hua.
