After the Heavenly Demon walked over, he said, “This was a special sect assessment this time because there was a participant that shouldn’t have been included. However, since this was his first time at the Heavenly Demon Sect, we made an exception and allowed him to join.”
No one had to ask anything to know who the Heavenly Demon was talking about.
After all, there was only one person that seemed to fit the description that the Heavenly Demon gave.
As soon as he said this, everyone turned to look at Lin Fan with a strange look.

The Heavenly Demon revealed a faint smile before saying, “It was a bit unfair for all of you to be in the same sect assessment as this person. That is why we’ll take this into account when ranking you and giving you your rewards.”
Though this seemed like good news, none of the disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect could actually feel good about this.
After all, the way that he said this was as if he was showing them pity…

There were those that had been a disciple for one of the Eight Kings, but there had never been someone that had been a disciple of two of the Eight Kings

It was no wonder none of them were able to match him even though they had never heard of him before.
When the disciples and even the elders looked at Lin Fan, they were all trying to figure out just who he was that he was able to pull off something like this. After all, he really was someone that had appeared out of nowhere.
Lin Fan being the center of attention like this wasn’t scared at all.
He just calmly looked at all of the people that were staring at him with a calm look on his face.
Once the Heavenly Demon had allowed this matter to settle in, he suddenly said, “Other than this, we will be opening up even more spots in the special training ground this time.”
When the disciples heard this, it pulled them out of their shock.
After all, the special training ground was something that was very important to them.
All of them knew the special conditions in the special training ground, so it was only natural that they would be excited about this. This was their chance to break through their current limits and become even stronger.

With that, Lin Fan turned to everyone to say, “Those that wish to enter the special training ground, come and find me. My offer from before still stands. If you wish to follow me, then I’ll take you under my wings if I like you.”
All of the disciples were surprised to hear this, but there were many pairs of eyes that lit up after they heard this.
It was completely different from how they had acted around Lin Fan previously.
Lin Fan had made the offer for them to come under him when he beat them up during the sect assessment, but the only response that he received were glares from them.

In that case, there really was nothing for them to gain from following someone like this.
But after what happened with the Poison King and the Fire Fist King, there wasn’t a single person that dared to look down on Lin Fan. After all, he was now someone with power and influence in the Heavenly Demon Sect.
There were many that were hoping that they would be able to fall under him since he would be an excellent backer for them.
