“Boss, give us two bowls of noodles.”

“Coming right up.”

There wasn’t a single person that looked up when this person gave their order. After all, this was just the kind of place where this kind of behaviour was normal.

This was a normal noodle stand that one would be able to find anywhere.

However, there was one thing different about this place.

The people that were here all had some kind of weapon with them.

It was the kind of place where a certain kind of people gathered and that was why normal people avoided this place.

But that didn’t matter for the two that just sat down at the noodle stall since they had their own weapons on them.

After sitting down, the two of them didn’t say anything as they looked down. But what others couldn’t sense was that the two of them had already spread out their spiritual sense even before they sat down.

These two were secretly listening in on the conversation all around them.

The direction that they were leaving in was the same direction that Lin Fan and Han Ba were walking in. Though it seemed like they moved away from time to time as if they had other business.

At the same time, there were a few of them that disappeared completely as if they were just heading off on their own.

But anyone that had sharp eyes could see that they were doing something specific.

However, it didn’t seem like Lin Fan and Han Ba cared as they continued moving forward. The two of them even moved to a place that didn’t have that many people present.

It was as if they were giving them an opportunity to act, which was what they were doing in the end.

Once they were isolated enough, the people that had been following Lin Fan and Han Ba didn’t hesitate at all to make their move.

The ones that had gone off on their own came back and moved to surround Lin Fan and Han Ba. It seemed like they wanted to completely cut them off from the rest of the world so that they wouldn’t be able to do anything.

It might have been a problem if this was anyone else that was trapped like this, but it wasn’t a problem for Lin Fan and Han Ba.

When they were surrounded like this, the two of them suddenly stopped moving.

Lin Fan already knew that Han Ba would do something like this, so he didn’t try to stop him.

He just watched silently as Han Ba ran right through the three that came forward.

Once Han Ba did this, the others that were hiding around them didn’t hesitate at all to attack. They saw the danger that Han Ba posed, so they actually did more than they normally did.

It seemed like they were planning to take what they wanted from Lin Fan and Han Ba’s corpses.

It was just that they really didn’t pose a threat to the two of them at all.

The first thing that they did was throw ranged weapons at the two of them, but that didn’t have any effect at all as Han Ba and Lin Fan easily blew them away.

Lin Fan waved his hand to knock all of the weapons flying at him down while Han Ba just charged right through any weapons that came at him. Han Ba didn’t even have to put up his defenses at all, just his skin alone was enough to shatter all the weapons that came at him.

With how strong he was, it was almost as if he was made of steel.

When the attackers saw what kind of power Han Ba possessed, they immediately realized that they had bitten off more than they could chew. They knew that if they insisted on taking these two down, then they wouldn’t be able to escape this with simple injuries.

It was very likely that they would be heavily injured just trying to fight Han Ba.

There was no money that was worth this kind of risk, so they made a quick decision.

“Run.”

As soon as they all came to this decision, there was no hesitation as they started scattering in different directions. All of them seemed quite coordinated once they came to the decision to run away from this place.

This was the most coordinated that they had been this entire time.

It was just that this didn’t matter since they wouldn’t be able to get away no matter how they ran.

After all, there was someone that was there to stop them.

With another wave of his hand, the attackers found that there was something invisible that prevented them from running. No matter how they tried going against this invisible thing, they found that they just couldn’t break through at all.

It was as if they were trapped inside of a cage of steel with how hard this invisible thing in front of them was.

So the only thing that they could do was turn and fight.

They knew that whatever this thing was, it was created by the one that they had tried to attack.

If they wanted to break free of this place, the only thing that they could do now was take them down and bring down this invisible barrier.

Only Han Ba wouldn’t allow them to do that.

Han Ba was one of the core disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect while these were just rogue cultivators. Even if he was hiding his true power, it was still more than enough to take care of these rogue cultivators and bring them under his control.
