In the end, neither the Kunlun Sect or the Mount Hua Sword Sect groups did anything to each other.

They also knew that there was nothing for them to gain from attacking each other now.

“The senior sister of the Kunlun Sect group and the senior brother of the Mount Hua Sword Sect group know each other. They’re trying to hide it from the others, but it’s clear that they know each other from before this.”

There was even a faint smile that appeared on his face as he said, “Could it be that there’s some kind of secret relationship between the two of them?”

“Does that matter?” Han Ba asked Lin Fan in a bored voice.

Lin Fan didn’t respond since this was one of the things that he didn’t agree with Han Ba on.

Lin Fan was someone that enjoyed gossip like this as someone who came from a modern world while Han Ba was someone who didn’t like to gossip.

Even though they got along with each other, it wasn’t as if everything that they did was going to be the same.

Still, that didn’t mean that they weren’t able to get along with each other.

Small differences like this was just what it meant to be human.

After following this group for a bit, it was clear that there wasn’t anything that they would be able to learn from this group. It was clear that they were doing nothing more than grasping at straws since they had no idea where the item that they were looking for was.

In fact, it seemed like they weren’t willing to spend the night in this place with how they decided that it was time to head back when the sun was starting to set.

Though that was all because they had a cover to maintain.

They had already shown themselves in the nearby city, so it wasn’t as if they could disappear without a trace.

Lin Fan and Han Ba didn’t really have this same worry, but it didn’t seem like Han Ba wanted to stay out here either. They hadn’t been able to find any clues, so it wasn’t as if Han Ba wanted to stay in the middle of nowhere like this.

Han Ba didn’t say anything at first, but eventually he said, “Maybe we should head back?”

Lin Fan didn’t answer at first, but eventually he slowly said, “It feels like there’s something there.”

Han Ba couldn’t help looking at Lin Fan with a look of doubt, almost looking like he was wondering if there was something wrong with him. But eventually he turned back to look in the same direction as Lin Fan as he trusted him to know what he was doing.

The problem was that there really wasn’t anything there.

“Do you see anything?” Han Ba asked after a long period of silence.

At this point, the sun had already completely set and it was already dark out.

This didn’t matter to them since they were cultivators and they were able to see in the dark with just a bit of effort.

Lin Fan just slowly said, “I haven’t seen anything yet, but it feels like there’s something strange about this place. I can’t really tell exactly what it is, but I know that there’s something different.”

Han Ba looked at him with the same look as before, but it didn’t seem like he was going to keep indulging Lin Fan.

“Wait, look over there.”

Han Ba had been about to say something when Lin Fan said this all of a sudden, but when he turned around, “What are you talking about? There’s nothing there.”

“Don’t you see it?” Lin Fan asked in a confused voice.

Han Ba narrowed his eyes as he tried to find what Lin Fan was talking about, but he found that he couldn’t see anything. No matter how he tried looking at the spot that Lin Fan was looking at, he just couldn’t see what Lin Fan was seeing.

“You really don’t see it?” Lin Fan could tell from the expression on Han Ba’s face that this was the case, but he couldn’t help feeling confused when this happened.

After all, he could clearly see that something was changing in front of him.

He just couldn’t understand why Han Ba wasn’t seeing it.

When Han Ba shook his head, Lin Fan had no choice but to accept that Han Ba couldn’t see what he was talking about. But at the same time, he could see that there was something that was forming in the distance.
