“Why are you here?”

The core disciples that all arrived in this one spot couldn’t help being caught off guard when they saw who was here with them.

All of them had been chasing after the energy deer that they had selected, so they certainly didn’t expect to see everyone else appear here like this.

But the moment that they had all been led here, they knew that they had fallen for a trap.

There was only a split second where they let themselves be caught off guard, but then they immediately snapped out of their daze and wanted to head off in different directions.

So in the end, all of them started running in different directions. Even if the energy deer appeared in front of them, they still continued running since they knew that whatever it was wouldn’t be able to take down all of them.

The fact that only one core disciple was taken down each time meant that whoever it was that was stalking them could only attack one of them at a time. So they would try to overwhelm that person and run away.

Though in the end, what happened was that there was a wave of energy released by the energy deer that pushed them all back.

They were core disciples, so they were able to recognize the array that the energy deer formed.

The fighting continued like this for a while until there were only three groups that were left.

Since the voice didn’t say anything, they really had no choice but to fight each other.

When they saw this, they all complained about how the voice wasn’t keeping their promise.
