“Where is this?”

When Sun Chao woke up, he looked around to see what he was able to find.

However, he found that he was in complete darkness.

Once he realized that he was in complete darkness, he couldn’t help panicking since this meant that something was off.

After all, it should have been easy for him to see through the darkness as long as he had his spiritual energy. As long as he channeled his spiritual energy into his eyes, then he would be able to see as long as there was a trace of light.

Since he could see that there was some light coming from outside of this cell that he was being kept in, he knew that he should have been able to see in this darkness.

It felt like there was something that was preventing him from drawing on the spiritual energy inside of him.

It wasn’t that he didn’t have any spiritual energy left since he could still feel it, it was just that it was sealed off and he couldn’t draw on it at all.

“Wake up.” Sun Chao said to the figures around him when he slowly calmed down from this shock.

So before they came, he wanted to use safety in numbers by waking up the rest of the group.

They immediately turned to the source of the sound and found that it was the door of their cell opening.

“What is this?” Sun Chao slowly asked the voice that he couldn’t see.

“Go on, they’re waiting for you outside.”

The tone of the voice made it clear that they were being watched by the owner of the voice.

If they were to ignore this order, then they wouldn’t know what would happen to them. The only thing that they knew was that there wouldn’t be anything good that happened to them if they ignored this order.

So they really had no choice but to follow the orders and leave this room. Once they left the room, they felt that the temperature returned to normal.

Whoever was watching them clearly was able to control every aspect of their surroundings.

As this thought sank in, they felt even more that they were nothing more than mice trapped inside of a box. They were just toys that the other side was messing with.

“There’s something strange about this place.” Sun Chao couldn’t help saying out loud.

The other elders of the Kunlun Sect looked at Sun Chao with a strange look since they didn’t know what he was talking about, but they still also looked around carefully to see if they could find something.

After all, Sun Chao was the strongest one among them.

It wasn’t as if he was their leader for no reason.

He was someone that had the qualifications to be their leader, which was why he was their leader.

With the way that it floated off, it really felt like the ball of fire was telling them to follow it.

However, they had no idea where this ball of fire was leading them…

In the end, they had no choice but to follow that ball of fire as they felt the chill surrounding them again. It seemed that if they didn’t go with that ball of fire, they would freeze in this place.

“Just what are they planning?”

That was the thought that passed through the minds of all the elders from the Kunlun Sect. It really felt like they were being led on some kind of wild goose chase with how things were going.

But no matter how they complained or tried to talk to the voice, they found that there was no response at all.

In the end, all that they could do was continue following this flame.

“No, there’s something off about this place.” Sun Chao muttered to himself as they followed the flame without end.

It really seemed like there was something familiar about this place that Sun Chao just couldn’t put his finger on.

Until he realized that there was something strange about the path that they had taken.

It triggered a memory inside his mind that made him realize just what this was.

The moment that he realized this, he couldn’t help letting out an outburst, “How are you able to do this?”

The other elders looked at Sun Chao with confused looks, but they could hear the urgency that was in his voice. They knew that he wouldn’t make this outburst for no reason, so they all raised their guard.

The other elders were confused when they heard this, but they just waited for an answer.

“Why do you think that?”
