Though Lin Fan said that he would go back to get more information, there weren’t any actual plans to get this information.
The reason for this was that they didn’t tell him anything that he wanted to know.
Even though Lin Fan had shown that he was more than capable of protecting himself, his masters and the Heavenly Demon had pushed him away.
It was done because they wanted to protect him, but he couldn’t let this happen now.
He had to figure out a way to get his masters and the Heavenly Demon to include him in the Heavenly Demon Sect’s plans.

“It seems like I’ll have to expose myself a bit.” Lin Fan said to himself after testing something that gave him his answer.
If it wasn’t for this thing, he really wouldn’t have been able to find a way to convince them.

“I want to go back and report something to the Heavenly Demon Sect.”
Yan Tian Ta and Hong Xi had awkward looks on their faces when they heard this.
Lin Fan wasn’t surprised to see this since he was certain that they would have received orders from his masters to keep him here out of danger.
However, the fact of the matter was that he had been made their masters.
Even if his masters were their masters previously, that didn’t mean anything since they had handed control over the two squads to Lin Fan in the end. The ones that they should be obeying now was naturally Lin Fan.
Though Lin Fan didn’t want to make things hard for them.
Or rather, it was better for his case if he were to give them a reason to help him report this matter back to the Heavenly Demon Sect.
Which was why Lin Fan said, “I’ve found something and it’s better if I report this matter in person. It’s related to the current deal that I have with the elders.”
Yan Tian Ta and Hong Xi were surprised to hear this, but they were even more surprised when they saw what Lin Fan did after raising his hand. They stared at the thing that was gathered in his hand with strange looks on their faces.
After taking a long moment of silence to gather themselves, they finally nodded to show that they would help him.
Though the strange looks that they had didn’t disappear.

When Lin Fan arrived back at the Heavenly Demon Sect, he was surprised by how fast he had been brought back. After all, from when he talked to Yan Tian Ta and Hong Xi, only a single day had passed.
It seemed like the Heavenly Demon Sect had completely mobilized all resources as he was allowed through many different transport arrays without a single question.
Everything had been arranged and he was just ushered along.
When he arrived back at the Heavenly Demon Sect, he was even brought to the Heavenly Demon’s mountain where it seemed like they were waiting for him.
“Where did you get it?”
That was the first question that was asked the moment that Lin Fan entered the hut.
Lin Fan was caught off guard seeing both of his masters and the Heavenly Demon waiting for him. He was even more caught off guard when they suddenly stood up and surrounded him.
In the end, it was Ye Qing Huan who saved him by making the three of them sit back down. However, Lin Fan could see from the way that Ye Qing Huan looked at him that she also wanted the same answer.
“It was something that I found by accident. I was just wandering around one day in the outskirts of Dungeon City and I found it.”
As soon as he said this, there were the glares of four people that were cast in his direction. With the way that they looked at him, it was clear that they didn’t believe what he was saying.
However, Lin Fan just calmly looked right back at them.
So that was why they asked to see it in the end.
When Lin Fan lifted his hand and brought out the purple lightning, the Heavenly Demon was the one that spoke.
“This isn’t normal.” The way that he said this was as if he was deep in thought, but Lin Fan found it strange since he wasn’t looking at the purple lightning in his hand. Rather, it seemed like the Heavenly Demon was looking right at him.
With the way that the Heavenly Demon looked at Lin Fan, it was as if he was trying to see through him which made Lin Fan felt strange.
But eventually, the Heavenly Demon said, “This isn’t from here.”
The Poison King and the Fire Fist King looked at the Heavenly Demon with a strange look when they heard this before turning back to look at Lin Fan the same way that the Heavenly Demon looked at him.
After a long silence, the Heavenly Demon finally asked, “Does it feel the same as the rest of the pure elemental energy items that you absorbed?”
Lin Fan just gave a simple nod in response.
The three of them immediately knitted their brows when they heard this.
It was only Ye Qing Huan who didn’t seem to understand what was happening.
After another long silence, the Heavenly Demon asked, “Can you really use it as freely as you want?”
Lin Fan gave another nod before giving a demonstration with the purple lightning.
He made sure that they could see all of the things that he could do with it. At the same time, he made sure that they knew that it was completely under his control.
The three of them didn’t seem impressed by this, but rather it seemed like they were having a headache over this. It was as if there was something about this that made things difficult for the three of them.
In the end, the Heavenly Demon said, “Regardless of how he found it, it seems like he can indeed control it. If that’s the case, then we should…”
He didn’t finish his words, but the other two understood what he was implying.
There were complicated looks that appeared on the faces of the Poison King and the Fire Fist King before the two of them looked at each other.

The Fire Fist King just nodded without saying anything.

“It’s not as if he’s going anywhere dangerous, we’re just letting him know what is happening and how he can help, right?” The final word that she said almost seemed like it was putting pressure on her master.
The Heavenly Demon revealed a wry smile, but he didn’t refute what she said.
Instead, he turned back to Lin Fan to say, “I’m sure that you’ve already guessed that this thing that you’ve absorbed isn’t from this place. It’s from a place that’s far away from here, a place that most people don’t even know about.”
Lin Fan made his expression change, but he felt that he was being a bit too obvious. After all, he already knew what they were talking about, so it wasn’t as if any of this came as a surprise to him.
But it seemed like they were too focused on what they were saying to notice this expression change from Lin Fan.
It seemed that they had been too shocked by what Lin Fan had shown them that they didn’t process this.
When they were done explaining, the Heavenly Demon said, “That’s why we’ll need your help when the time comes.”
Lin Fan hadn’t been expecting this, so there was a look of actual surprise on his face when they were done.
It turned out that the Heavenly Demon Sect had already found traces of pure elemental energy among the other sects. Even though it seemed like they were just going along with the plans that the other sects had to fight back against the magic continent, they had been doing their own digging.
It seemed like Lin Fan had looked down on the Heavenly Demon Sect to a certain extent.
They might have been plotted against, but the information network of the Heavenly Demon Sect was still as powerful as ever that it was able to find all this information.
It seemed that the Heavenly Demon Sect was planning on doing their own thing even though they seemed like they would work with the righteous sects on the surface.
These things did match with what Lin Fan wanted and it would give him the information that he needed to give to Haku.
