With My System, I Can Even Tame Gods - Chapter 1368: Full support

Chapter 1368: Full support
“Others would never get a chance like this, so I hope that you won’t waste it.”
Lin Fan didn’t mind the way that he was being talked to.
After all, there was something else that was more important to him right now.
The place that he had been led to was a special room that very few in the Laver Empire would have access to.
It wasn’t the treasury of the Laver Empire since that was a place that didn’t really have anything special. It had treasures, but they were more valuable things rather than being useful things.
The place that he had been brought to was a special storage filled with different things that were considered useful.
That meant that most of the items that were stored in this place were magic items.
As soon as he entered the room, his eyes lit up.
This room wasn’t just any room, it was the collection of magic items that had been gathered by the Laver Empire over the years. As one of the top empires of the magic continent, the collection that the Laver Empire possessed was not something to look down on.
There were all kinds of magic items that were in this collection.
While Lin Fan wasn’t able to take these things for himself, he was allowed to take them for the plan that he had come up with.
Though technically that meant that he would be able to use a lot of these magic items for that plan.
There was no one that really knew what plan he had and what kind of things he needed. So the permission that he was given was basically permission to freely raid this magic item storage.
However, Lin Fan found that most of these things were…
“Too dangerous.”
There was a reason why a lot of these magic items had been stored in this place to begin with. They just couldn’t be used since they weren’t normal magic items.
If they were stored here, it meant that there was a large amount of mana that was stored inside of these items that made them dangerous.
If they were actually used, there was no telling what kind of damage they would cause.
As he looked around the room, Lin Fan wasn’t able to find a single thing that he could use.
After all, what he was aiming to do was capture the ones from the righteous sects and not directly kill them. If he were to use these magic items against them, it really would have been hard to ensure that they would have remained alive.
That was why Lin Fan had to keep searching around the room for something that he could use.
As for the one that was watching over him, they were a minister from the Laver Empire. They were also one of the ones that had been summoned from Haku’s dungeon in the beginning, which meant that they were one of her most trusted subordinates.
It was just that they were clearly unhappy with the way that Lin Fan was acting.
In the eyes of this person, they thought that Lin Fan was being picky towards the magic items of the Laver Empire. By being picky towards these magic items, it meant that he was indirectly disrespecting the one that ruled over the Laver Empire.
For someone as loyal towards Haku as them, it was obvious what kind of reaction they would have.
“Didn’t she tell you to watch over them properly and not act out?”
Before that person could act out, there was a voice that came from behind them.
When they turned around, they found that there was another minister that was also here.
“What are you doing here?” Baekho asked this blue horned woman who appeared behind him.
“Why else would I be here if not to watch over you? Miss Agnus knew that you would mess this up, so she sent me here to watch over you.” Cheongryong said while glaring at this muscular white tiger beastman.
There was an awkward look that appeared on Baekho’s face when he heard this.
If it was anyone else that had said this, then he wouldn’t have taken it lying down. That wasn’t the kind of personality that he had after all.
It was just that in front of this woman, he really couldn’t do anything.
Lin Fan had turned around when he heard this commotion, but he didn’t say anything since he could clearly see what was happening.
“He likes her.”
Just a single glance was enough to tell him how this Baekho felt towards that Cheongryong, so he was interested in seeing how it went. From the way that they were acting, it didn’t seem like they were dating.
Though he could also tell that it wasn’t as if Cheongryong had bad feelings towards Baekho.
It even seemed like their relationship was quite good with the way that she acted around him.
After the two of them finished their bantering, Cheongryong finally said to Lin Fan, “Don’t mind us, just go on looking for whatever you’re looking for. When you’re done, we’ll bring you to meet our troops who will be helping you.”
Baekho gave a snort when he heard this, but all that he got in return was a slap to his chest.
After slapping him like this, Cheongryong said, “Don’t mind him, he’s just too straightforward and simple for his own good. But you can be assured that we will be providing you with all the support that you need to accomplish this mission.”
Baekho still didn’t learn his lesson and gave a snort, but it was certainly softer compared to last time.
Lin Fan didn’t say anything and just gave a nod before turning back to look for the magic items that he wanted to take.
It took a while, but he was able to find something that wasn’t lethal.
For the magic items to be placed in this storage, it was only natural that they had been tested and catalogued as well. Otherwise, it really would have taken him a long time to find something that he could use.
So the thing that he chose was a magic item that would form unbreakable bonds on whoever they were used. It wasn’t the best, but at least it was something that would suit the purpose that he wanted to use it for.
When he was done, he saw Cheongryong wave her hand at him before saying, “Come on, let me go and introduce you to the ones that are going to help you.”
Lin Fan was surprised and a bit confused hearing this, but he still followed her to see where she was leading him.
When they arrived, he found that there was an army waiting for him.
This was an army that was composed of beastmen. Some of them were dragon beastmen and white tiger beastmen like Cheongryong and Baekho, but there were also other beastmen that were here.
Seeing the look on Lin Fan’s face, Cheongryong said, “Normally, we would take up a position in one of the dungeons that are scattered around the empire. However, we have been moved to help you this time.”
Lin Fan couldn’t help narrowing his eyes to look at the beastmen army that was gathered in front of him.
Though they weren’t releasing their power, he could easily tell just how strong all of these beastmen were. With the level of power that this army possessed, it was clear that they were anything but ordinary.
An army of this level would be considered a secret final weapon in any other nation.
So even in the powerful Laver Empire, this would be considered one of the few secret weapons that they possessed. This was not something that would be moved unless the empire was in danger.
For this army to be assigned to him, that meant that the Laver Empire was showing their full support to him.
When he had been picked up by Baekho and shown the way to the magic item storage, he thought that at most he would receive nominal support from the Laver Empire.
This wasn’t something that Lin Fan was surprised by since it wasn’t as if they had a reason to completely trust him. It was best for them to give some support so that they could see if they could benefit from his plan, but also avoid giving him too much so that they could avoid being connected to him if something went wrong.
But now it seemed that the Laver Empire was indeed showing their full support for him.
At the same time, this meant that there was someone else who was supporting him.
This kind of army couldn’t be moved unless there was someone that approved of this and in the Laver Empire, all things went to a single person.
With the way that she acted, Lin Fan had thought that she wouldn’t show him that much support. But now it seemed like she was someone that just couldn’t get her words across in public.
She was someone that did things in secret.
Then again, as far as Lin Fan could remember, that was just the kind of person that she was.
Without Haku’s permission, it was impossible for this army to move after all.
Since he had the full support of the Laver Empire, Lin Fan was even more confident in his plan.
The Laver Empire wasn’t weaker than any of the righteous sects if they were to face each other head on.
Not to mention that it wasn’t the full force of the righteous sects that they were facing.
It was nothing more than a portion.
This should be easy with the home field advantage.
