“Three of hearts.”

“Come in.”

Lin Fan walked through the door that was opened up in front of him, but there was nothing that was waiting for him on the other side other than a table.

Lin Fan wasn’t surprised to see this since he knew what kind of place this was.

That was why he just sat down at the table and waited for the other side to arrive.

It didn’t take long for another door to open in this room and a person that was completely covered up to show themselves.

This person was covered in a robe that blocked their appearance from head to toe. The only thing that was visible through the robe was a slit where the eyes were that allowed them to see.

Though from that slit, Lin Fan wasn’t able to see much of this person’s eyes.

It seemed like there was some kind of spell that was cast on this robe that blocked others from seeing through the slit.

It allowed the one that was wearing the robe to see out, but blocked those that looked at it from seeing inside the robe.

There was no doubt that this kind of robe was something that would cost a lot, but Lin Fan wasn’t surprised to see it here. After all, this was a place where a lot of money changed hands.

It was also information that changed hands.

Once that robed person came in, they sat down in front of Lin Fan and said, “Dear guest, what business do you have with us today?”

The way that the robed person acted was very professional, as if they had done this many times before. But that was indeed the case since this place was a place that was a business for trading information.

“I want some information about a certain place.”

The robed person didn’t answer right away as it seemed like they were thinking about what Lin Fan said.

After a while, they said, “We can certainly offer this information as long as long as it’s within our range.” Then after a pause, they added, “Of course, it also depends on if the price is right.”

As expected of a professional, they didn’t waste any time at all.

When Lin Fan was finally done, he said, “This is all the information that we have on hand about this matter. If you wish, we can dig even deeper into this matter and see if there’s anything else that we can find. I guarantee that we’ll find everything that you’re looking for within three days.”

He didn’t mention anything about returning money if they didn’t find anything.

This kind of organization would never return money after all. Even if they were wrong, they just simply wouldn’t return any money that they had received from their customers.

Lin Fan didn’t care about the money in the first place, so it wasn’t as if he was going to argue this.

Instead, he just took out another bag of gold that he placed on the table before saying, “What if I said that I want this even sooner?”

The robed figure didn’t say anything at first as he looked down at the bag of gold that was on the table. After a while, he reached out towards the bag of gold and said, “We can prepare everything in a day.”

Lin Fan gave a satisfied nod when he heard this.

He knew from the tone of the robed figure’s voice that this really was the absolute limit. Even if he were to bring out more gold, it wasn’t as if they would be able to make this deadline any shorter.

“I’ll be back tomorrow.” Lin Fan said before leaving, to which the robed figure just gave a simple nod in response to.

Once the door closed behind Lin Fan, there were a few figures that came out of the secret door that handed a few things over to the robed figure.

“So it seems like this person is a S Rank Adventurer and they are interested in this place…But it doesn’t seem like there’s anything special about this place. From the reports, this place should have been just a normal place.” The robed figure just said to himself as he read through these reports.

After a while, he finally said, “Get me all the information that you can about that place and then divide it into what we can and can’t share.”

These people gave nods of understanding before turning to leave, but there was one of them that didn’t leave.

Seeing that this person was still standing there, the robed figure said, “You’re afraid of making him an enemy?”

That person didn’t respond at first, but eventually a nod came out.

The robed figure didn’t blame that person since he knew where that person was coming from. At the same time, he knew that the motive of this person wasn’t because of any personal gains.

This person was actually worried about him for double crossing that S Rank Adventurer like this.

After all, their organization wasn’t actually strong enough to fight back if they did offend that S Rank Adventurer.

There was no way that they would be able to fight a S Rank Adventurer if it were to come to that.

“We’re going to give him information regardless. It’s just that we’ll trim the information that we give him to information that we think that he’ll need. The other person didn’t say anything, but the look on his face showed that he was being convinced.
