Chapter 1512: Chapter 520: Bewildered Sea God Sect (Part 2)
“Additionally, I will condense the last bit of energy from this projection into a Divine Power Crystal. After taking down that Blasphemer, you can throw the Divine Power Crystal into the Molten Lava Lake. At that time, the re-erupting undersea volcano will completely destroy that island and all the Federation ships nearby.”
“As you command, my great and wise lord!”
Upon hearing the words of the Nether Sea Goddess, all the high-ranking members of the Sea God Sect, including Pope Egil, showed signs of joy, bowed towards the phantom of the Nether Sea Goddess, and said.
Because departing in half a day would just allow them to avoid the three Dragon Knights sent by the Empire.
Secondly, they would follow Glasers directly to tunnel into the Magma Lake, completely avoiding the need to enter from under the island and thus avoiding conflict with the Federation over Reef Island.
Finally, and most importantly, with their Goddess’s Divine Power restored, the ’smoldering electric eel’ has reached Epic Peak level. In the eyes of the Sea God Sect members, there’s no need for them to act, as they could simply follow behind and crush Rein and the wounded Menia.
“Don’t let me down again, Egil!”
Saying this, the Black Radiance of Nether Sea Goddess Hela’s phantom flashed, and in the next second, it completely disappeared from mid-air, leaving only a rhomboid crystal emitting a surging energy wave, floating slightly up and down in mid-air.
…
Half a day later.
A terrifying giant serpent-like beast slowly appeared in the deep sea, the ’smoldering electric eel’ Glasers, surrounded by a group of High Rank Wizards and Evil Sorcerers of the Sea God Sect, moved towards the vicinity of Reef Island.
As eels are naturally adept at digging, for Glasers, penetrating the seabed silt and hard rock layers posed almost no difficulty.
Glasers twisted its large body emitting a purple glow, stirring up a large amount of silt from the seabed, causing the seawater to become murky. Its over a hundred meters long body soon disappeared halfway into the silt.
“Pope, with the ’smoldering electric eel’ Glasers, this mission has become much easier.”
“With my lord’s power blessing, Glasers has finally regained the might of an ancient terrifying Sea Beast.”
“Yes, this time Rein is doomed! I wonder what expression he’ll have when he suddenly sees Glasers appear?”
A group of High Rank Evil Sorcerers, seeing this scene, all smiled, and their originally tense mood eased considerably.
Sea God Sect Pope Egil also felt relieved, though he naturally kept a stern expression on his face, waving his hand as he said:
“Alright, everyone stay vigilant, don’t let your guard down, keep up, and prepare for battle!”
…
Meanwhile, by the Molten Lava Lake.
Rein continued to create Goblin Engineering constructs, though this time, it wasn’t a Mechanical Land Bird.
In front of him was the prototype of a Mechanical Velociraptor, even taller than a Mechanical Land Bird, especially a pair of short, delicate foreclaws, each with sharp blades over thirty centimeters long, like scythes.
This was the standardized combat machinery of the Ancient Goblin Empire – the Mechanical Velociraptor.
Rein recalled that when he left Floating City Gate No. 3, he had glimpsed it from afar. Now, relying on the Goblin Engineering knowledge stored in the two memory crystals, he began crafting it by hand.
Although it also used a small Furnace Core, compared to the Mechanical Land Bird, the Mechanical Velociraptor was naturally more challenging to craft. The focus was on the hook-shaped blades, which required a special alloy composition for hardness, and the robust mechanical hind limbs had a special transmission system with high precision requirements.
Of course, this would only be difficult for an ordinary Goblin Engineer. For Rein, solving these two issues was not too challenging.
As Rein installed the last component of the transmission device, a system notification sounded:
[You crafted a Mechanical Velociraptor, related insights improved!]
[You have learned a new skill – Mechanical Velociraptor Creation]
[Your skill in Mechanical Velociraptor Creation has improved, Experience +35]
[You focused on Mechanical Velociraptor Creation, your Goblin Engineer (Legendary) Professional Experience +85]
….
Meanwhile, Rein’s Goblin Engineer (Legendary) Profession Level successfully reached lv7, thus contributing 6 attribute points and 6 skill points to Rein from this Legendary profession.
The attribute panel now displayed, remaining attribute points as 7, remaining skill points as 19, and the Golden Skill Points reached 594, nearing a historical high.
“Good, at least it’s enough to support a medium-intensity battle,” Rein thought with joy.
Just as he was about to continue creating the Mechanical Velociraptor, he suddenly heard a slight sound from Menia’s direction.
Rein quickly turned to look and saw that Menia had awakened for the second time. Her beautiful face seemed a bit fatigued. Rein immediately put down the metal in his hand and walked over quickly.
“Prince Menia, your Strength…”
To Rein’s astonishment, as soon as he approached, he sensed that although Prince Menia’s aura seemed relatively stable, her Strength was worlds apart from before!
“The Dragon Blood Sacrifice is a desperate secret technique, surviving is already quite fortunate, especially now. Being able to barely maintain the Strength of a Dawn Wizard is thanks to your swift actions at that time,”
Menia, however, was indifferent, instead giving a slight smile to Rein as she spoke.
