Chapter 646: Chapter 278: The Witches Break Through One After Another (Part 2)
Cynthia felt the Life Energy continuously pouring into her, enveloping her like a warm tide.
She took a deep breath and focused her attention on the gradually rising power within her heart.
“Are you ready?” David asked softly.
He could sense the nervous anticipation brewing within Cynthia.
“I will support you.” His voice was like gentle waves lapping the shore, bringing a sense of comfort.
“I’m ready.” Cynthia nodded slightly.
The moment their eyes met, an invisible yet intense emotion surged between them.
David slowly approached, his hands gently caressing Cynthia’s cheeks, the warmth brushing her sensitive and feverish skin like a spring breeze.
At this moment, it seemed the entire world had vanished, leaving only each other and the irresistible deepening emotion.
He lowered his head, nearing her soft, sweet lips.
In that instant, their heartbeats seemed perfectly synchronized, a feeling that captivated them both.
In that clear, water-like, blue-glowing hall, their lips finally touched.
It was a beautiful resonance, like waves pounding the heart, dispelling all worries and unease.
A sweet and profound kiss unfolded quietly in this tranquil space.
They disregarded everything around them, wanting only to immerse themselves in the happiness their merging brought.
With this deep kiss, Life Energy rushed into Cynthia’s body, making her nearing Fourth Ring’s new mark even brighter, merging with the Power of Life.
This power came not only from the Heart of the Ocean but also from the dual cultivation feedback the system provided, urging them to further immerse in each other.
At this moment, an even stronger, irregular flickering wave emanated from Cynthia, as her Spiritual Power finally completed a breakthrough in the final cultivation process.
With the successful breakthrough of the three women, the Heart of the Ocean suddenly dimmed.
Clearly, amidst everyone’s continuous absorption, the amassed power of the Heart of the Ocean had been depleted.
“What a pity.”
The Clam Elder sighed.
If the Heart of the Ocean possessed more energy, she might have broken through another small realm.
“The Heart of the Ocean will continue to accumulate energy; we can return next time.” The Mermaid Queen said calmly.
David nodded, leading the four women out of this special Secret Realm and returning to the sea.
Though eager to take the witches back for cultivation, the undersea exploration wasn’t over; he intended to explore the area thoroughly before returning.
After leaving the special Secret Realm, David led the four witches, gradually diving into the vast ocean depths.
Sunlight filtered through the seawater, forming mottled light and shade, and among the five, excitement and anticipation abounded.
The water flow gently embraced them, seemingly welcoming their continued exploration of this mysterious and wondrous undersea world.
“Which direction should we head?”
Cynthia asked excitedly, her eyes sparkling with longing for the unknown world.
“We’ll move north, which will lead us to the end of the Endless Sea.” David replied.
For a long time, the end of the Endless Sea held countless legends, and he sensed this area might conceal unknown secrets.
As they gradually advanced, a gradually intensifying, cold and piercing aura began to permeate around them.
The temperature in the air started to drop, causing them to feel uneasy. “What is this place?”
Cynthia whispered, sensing the Beastification Mark within her bloodline slightly trembling, forcing her to transform into an Ice Magical Beast.
“I felt it too,” said the Mermaid Queen, slightly frowning, listening intently to their surroundings. “This Ice Power seems to come from some ancient and powerful existence.”
As the five moved further in, the oppressive feeling of an Ice Hell-like environment grew stronger, with everything around frozen, a chilling calm enveloping them.
David pondered intently, sensing that this power seemed to be traces of some ancient magic, intertwined with the hidden unknown forces deep in the ocean.
He gradually realized they might be approaching some ancient ruins or forbidden area.
“Let’s keep moving forward.” He encouraged everyone, “Perhaps we’ll find some clues.”
Leading the way, they found ahead a gigantic ice crystal structure appearing, a small rift valley formed by condensed ice.
Under the sunlight, it shimmered with dazzling brilliance, but beneath it lay layers of faint haze, dreamlike and unsettling.
Carefully approaching the valley, they could hear faint whispers emanating from within, as if from ancient times, carrying an unspeakable ominous premonition.
“There’s something in here…” Shuili took a step back, her intuition telling her it wasn’t simple, “I feel a strong unease.”
“No matter what, we must be careful.”
David nodded, aware that this place might reveal more about the ocean and his destiny.
He stepped forward, looking towards the valley’s entrance.
A biting cold wind greeted them, causing everyone to shiver involuntarily.
But upon entering, they found no imagined danger, but rather a colorful and slightly dark underwater rift valley.
Within the valley were countless blue ice crystals, emitting the same but stronger, heavier, and more complex strange fluctuations as before.
At this moment, everyone could feel a strong attraction seeping from their souls, accompanied by some warning signals, making them aware this place was no ordinary location.
As the attraction grew stronger, everyone could hear the whispered yearning for power and the unknown from deep within their hearts.
Seeing this, David decisively activated the Spatial Mark, vanishing the women and himself, leaving behind a lingering presence of terrifying Ice Power.
The original Ocean Ruins reappeared, with David and the four women visible.
“Lord Divine Envoy, what was that?” The Clam Elder asked softly.
As a member of the Sea Race living in the Endless Sea, she was seeing the Ice Rift Valley for the first time; it was certainly absent before.
David shook his head.
The place was filled with intensely terrifying Ice Power.
However, he faintly sensed his Ice Element Mark could resist the power there.
Yet, given the situation, protecting the four women, even with his Ice Element Mark, might not suffice.
Perhaps next time, he could bring Amy to explore together.
Due to this experience, nearly the entire ocean had been explored, so David began returning with the witches.
Little did they know, soon after, the Sea Emperor also arrived at the Ocean Ruins.
The Sea Emperor slowly approached the ancient ruins, his brow furrowed.
This place was a Holy Land for the Mermaid Race, harboring endless Ocean Energy and the tribe’s beliefs.
Now, that energy seemed somewhat exhausted, an unexplainable unease arose in his heart.
“This is the Mermaid Race’s ruin.” He whispered to himself, eyes flaring with a hint of anger.
“Only those with pure Mermaid blood can open it; why was it opened?”
“Could there be other tribesmen with pure Mermaid blood in this ocean?”
He recalled some rumors of another pure-blooded, powerful Mermaid tribe deep in the distant ocean, but they were ancient and vague stories.
“No matter what, I must find them.” The shadow within the Sea Emperor’s heart grew darker.
He understood that if others with pure bloodline appeared in this area, it would pose a significant threat to his rule.
He had to stifle it before things spiraled out of control, as he must be the sole Sea Emperor of the Endless Sea.
