Wizard: Stronger through Marriage - Chapter 655 - 283: Occupying Two Seas

Chapter 655: Chapter 283: Occupying Two Seas
At the Wizard Alliance Headquarters in the Endless Sea, the wizards were anxiously discussing the upcoming meeting.
Suddenly, a young messenger rushed in with a look of disbelief on his face.
“Everyone! I just received news from the front lines!”
The messenger, panting, shouted, “The reinforcements from the Exotic Race Continent Wizard Alliance have successfully repelled the Hell Army and have stationed themselves in the captured stronghold!”
The conference room was instantly plunged into silence as all the wizards were stunned.
Not long ago, they had received news that the Hell Demons had attacked the stronghold in the Deep Sea Region.
Originally, they had been forced to abandon that stronghold and were discussing ways to counter the Hell Army.
None of them expected that the reinforcements from the Exotic Race Continent would arrive at this time, arriving just in time.
“David? That alien president?”
The Grand Chairman of the Wizard Alliance pondered aloud, his voice full of doubt.
“Yes,” the messenger nodded resolutely, tightly clutching a small note from David.
On it, there was a concise description of the battle and how they united to fight against the demons.
“He sent us a message asking for assistance and hopes to further engage with us.”
Upon hearing this, other members of the Wizard Alliance excitedly stood up: “They arrived just in time, so we must take action immediately to establish contact with them!”
However, some members cautiously said: “Nevertheless, we must be careful. Although these aliens have helped us, they are still outsiders.”
“I consider this an opportunity.” Suddenly, Edmund interjected.
He was the original branch president of the Haiwang Cape Wizard Alliance and had fought against the Black Mage alongside David.
It was he who once went to the Exotic Race Continent to contact David, making him the branch president of the Exotic Race Continent Wizard Alliance.
“Establishing a genuine cooperative relationship with David and his companions will significantly augment our strength!”
“Since we have already established a Wizard Alliance on the Exotic Race Continent and agreed to let these aliens join the Wizard Alliance, we should fulfill our promise.”
Amidst the intense discussions, the Wizard Alliance Headquarters unanimously decided to send a delegation to meet with David.
Edmund volunteered; he would be in charge of this negotiation and would lead a small team of powerful wizards with him.
…
On David’s side, after cleaning up the battlefield,
he and the aliens set up camp at the Wizard Alliance stronghold captured by Hell.
At the same time, he had sent a message to the Endless Sea Wizard Alliance, waiting for them to make contact.
In the Wizard Alliance stronghold recaptured from Hell, David and his alien companions were engaged in a tense but orderly resettlement.
After a whole day of clearing and burying the fallen, although exhausted, the unity and cooperation among the alien soldiers kept everyone’s spirits high.
“Are you ready to welcome them?” David asked a nearby alien general.
“Yes, everyone is giving their all,” the general replied.
“We have set up a perimeter around the camp and strengthened the defenses; no one can easily enter regardless of who approaches.”
Just then, an alien soldier rushed over to report: “President, we have received a reply from the Endless Sea Wizard Alliance; they are dispatching a delegation to meet us.”
David smiled slightly, knowing the significant importance of this meeting.
“Notify everyone to prepare to welcome our guests,” David ordered, “we wish to present our sincerity in the best way possible while also ensuring safety.”
Hours later, a flickering light appeared on the horizon, and a beautifully decorated small boat slowly approached.
This boat bore the insignia of the Endless Sea Wizard Alliance, and the array on board glowed with soft, warm radiance.
As the boat docked, a group of robed wizards with varied expressions disembarked one after another.
As the delegation leader, Edmund stepped out from the crowd, taking a deep breath, contemplating silently.
At that moment, it was not only about the cooperation between the two powers; it also concerned whether they could jointly resist the Hellish Forces in the future.
David stood by the shore, making eye contact with Edmund, and then extended his hand: “Welcome, I’m glad you could arrive on time.”
Edmund clasped his hand and responded with firm sincerity: “Thank you for buying us time. I believe we can face all future challenges together.”
In the subsequent meeting, the two sides sat around a campfire, sharing their own information regarding the Hell Demons.
Edmund used magic to showcase their recent important achievements against the Hell Army and discussed how to combine their strengths to deal with the upcoming conflicts.
As time passed, the two sides gradually eased their concerns and jointly formulated a series of offensive and defensive strategies.
“According to the results discussed at the Wizard Alliance Headquarters,”
“these Deep Sea Region and Haiwang Cape Sea Region will be entrusted to you for protection, and they will also become alien territories.”
Edmund spoke.
Upon hearing this, David squinted his eyes, deep in thought.
The resources in the Haiwang Cape Sea Region are quite abundant; however, the Deep Sea Region is very dangerous.
This seemed like giving a sweet reward while also assigning the dangerous area to the aliens to help resist the Hell Mages.
But, he had no reason to refuse.
And this would be the first step for the aliens to step into the Wizard World.
With this contact, the aliens could engage with the Wizard World, thereby acquiring more resources.
David nodded slightly, though internally hesitant, he understood the importance of the decision.
