Chapter 692: Chapter 301: Conquering the Storm Sea (2)
If David succeeds in breaking through, then the Storm Sea Organization is destined for destruction.
“Don’t give up! I can’t lose!”
He clenched his teeth, mustering the last bit of magic power, trying to stabilize the array that had already started to collapse.
However, at this moment, the energy within the array seemed like a wild horse, uncontrollable no matter how hard he tried.
The power released when David transformed into the Sea Dragon God was like a flood, shaking the entire space beyond what it could bear.
“Calm down for me!”
The president couldn’t help but roar, but his voice was drowned out by the roaring storm.
Amidst the endless frenzy and lightning, he felt an unprecedented loneliness and helplessness.
The Storm Array was already out of control, and painfully and desperately, he realized that this battle was doomed to end in failure.
At that moment, a bolt of lightning split the air, and simultaneously, a loud crash shocked all directions, pulling his thoughts back to reality almost instantly.
Faced with the figure that was drawing closer, emitting a blazing light, the president could no longer suppress the unease and fear surging from the depths of his heart.
He knew that in the face of this power, further struggle was futile.
“Submit or die.” David said flatly.
David’s voice thundered like a roar, echoing throughout the collapsing hall.
The cold and firm tone sent a chill rising from the heart of the President of Storm Sea.
The battle within the president’s heart was intense, on one hand, the reluctance for his once powerful position, on the other, a deep fear of David’s immense power.
“You… you can’t do this to me!”
The president tried to resist with the remnants of his dignity, but his words seemed powerless.
Clearly aware in the presence of David’s overpowering aura, the young wizard was no longer the opponent that could be easily defeated.
“Can’t? In the face of power, all is illusory.”
David smiled slightly, his gaze unwavering and confident.
“You once thought you controlled everything, but now you face the tides of change. After today, this place will no longer belong to Storm Sea.”
With his words, that intense aura of bloodline from his body grew stronger, like a new moon rising in the darkness, dimming everything around.
The multitude of wizards, caught in shock and fear, felt increasingly at a loss, understanding that this young wizard had become an irreversible new master.
“I… I won’t submit!”
The president’s last bit of stubbornness flared in him, and he exerted all his strength trying to stabilize the array again.
He poured his last drop of magic power trying to summon the elements within the array, but as that power was torn apart by David, countless energy runes surged in retaliation, suppressing him again to the point of hardly breathing.
“This is your choice.” David’s gaze was slightly cold and he had no intention of giving him another chance.
David clenched his fists, gathering a great torrent and energy in the air, the blazing light gradually drawing near, the president felt an overwhelming fear from the abyss of death engulfing his heart.
At this moment, he truly realized that with life and death at stake, there was no escape.
“Wait a moment…” He squeezed out these words with a trembling voice, “If I submit, can you really ensure the survival of our organization?”
David looked at him calmly.
The president of Storm Sea shuddered inwardly, his eyes wandering around, seeing those wizards who once followed him, they too were filled with fear.
At this critical juncture, the president finally realized his predicament.
Continuing to resist would only lead to a complete rout, and stubbornly clinging to the past would only result in losing more.
He gritted his teeth and finally made a decision: “Alright! I am willing to submit to you, I am willing to seek a new future for Storm Sea!”
David closed his eyes slightly, activating the Spirit Contract Mark.
His aura became heavier and more mysterious in an instant, like a true divine descending.
The surrounding air began to distort, elemental energy converged around him into an invisible wave, and that oppressive feeling made all the wizards’ hearts skip a beat.
“You have chosen submission, but it is not merely a simple surrender.” David said in a low voice, the sound thundering around the hall.
As his intent spread outward, an invisible light blossomed from him, an irresistible, suffocating force.
Instantly, countless marks appeared like stars on every wizard’s body.
Those marks shimmered with strange yet beautiful light, enveloping everyone within.
“Ah!”
A cry of pain and despair echoed, it was the president of Storm Sea.
He felt a tearing sensation from deep within his body, countless painful visions flooding into his mind.
He struggled to resist, but that immense power was like invisible chains, firmly binding his will.
In the end, he could only watch as his soul was stripped away from his consciousness and became part of David’s will.
The other wizards were also experiencing the same pain, looking at each other with dismay, unable to escape the fate looming over them.
The powerful spirit contract, like a vortex, absorbed them, causing them to lose their self-awareness and choice, everything about their lives and deaths now under David’s control.
“From now on, you will be my slaves.” David slowly opened his eyes, where bright and deep shades flashed with unusual light.
Once the contract was complete, an invisible yet heavily oppressive aura spread from the heart of the hall, every person who was contracted could distinctly feel the change deep within their hearts.
A new loyalty and obedience gradually replaced the previous dissatisfaction and fear towards the president of Storm Sea and the organization, replaced by absolute trust and loyalty to their new master.
David smiled lightly, looking at those who were once filled with fighting spirit, now puppets under his control.
“You will witness a new era, one that I will dominate and lead, where you can still possess power, only that it belongs to me.”
As his voice fell, the great hall gradually returned to calm, yet the air was filled with a tense and complex new atmosphere.
“Now, I need you to rally your forces.” David said calmly.
“We need to establish a new organizational structure to face the challenges ahead, I hope you can use your skills to continually gather resources for me!”
Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but nod, they could no longer resist, only submit to it all.
David was satisfied with this and nodded; with the Storm Sea Wizard Organization upfront in the North Sea Region, he could secretly gather resources continuously.
He showed no interest in managing the wizard organization, preferring to control everything from the shadows.
“Now, take me to your treasury.” David said.
The president of Storm Sea hurriedly nodded, leading his master to the treasury to gather resources.
He took a deep breath, turned, and walked out of the hall, leading David through a magnificent hall, towards the treasury hidden deep within.
The treasury was located on the lower level of the hall, protected by a series of Magic Guardian Arrays and complex access mechanisms.
Along the way, the two passed through multiple heavy doors, each exuding a powerful magic aura.
Ultimately, they arrived before a massive door.
The president touched it lightly with trembling fingers, a rune lit up, and the door slowly opened.
Behind the door was a spacious and dark room, the walls inlaid with magical crystal stones glowing dimly, with various treasures stacked neatly like mountains in the center.
“This is our treasury.” The president’s voice was low and weak, “Here we store all the resources collected over the years, including magic materials, scrolls, and some rare items.”
David walked slowly into the treasury, his eagle-like gaze sweeping over every corner.
In this mysterious space, various elemental crystals, alchemy materials, and lost scrolls emitted an enticing brilliance, making him feel a wave of delight.
After David left with all the resources, the Storm Sea Wizard Organization seemingly returned to peace on the surface, except that everything had already fallen into David’s hands.
