War came to Earth 32 years ago. Aliens called the Sorn who possessed technology we couldn't fathom. Nothing worked, not even the nukes. Then humanity started modifying their own. They were made into weapons, and treated like kings and queens. Until the war ended, and nobody needed them anymore. Then the expensive upkeep and procedures needed to keep them going were considered unnecessary. So they were cast out. Made to leave the safety of the bubble cities and live in the irradiated wastelands. Then came Project: AVALON. Suddenly they were needed again. Most were so jaded by then, when they were found, blood was shed. Lucas Dask is the son of the strongest modified there ever was, and this is his story.
