Chapter 52: Chapter 52: The Astonishment of the Mercer Family, Clan Migration!

While everyone was still reeling from the sight before them, a familiar figure stepped down from one of the crimson eagles.

"Clan Head! The Clan Head has returned!"

"Are these three Spirit Beasts all mounts subdued by the Clan Head?"

"Hahaha! As expected of our Clan Head!"

"The aura radiating from these giant eagles is terrifying. I feel it’s not much weaker than the Grand Elder’s!"

"Hiss! If that’s true, could these three Spirit Beasts be...?"

"If my guess is correct, they’re undoubtedly Purple Mansion Realm Spirit Beasts! To think the Clan Head subdued three such formidable creatures at once. This is incredible!"

"Didn’t I hear that the Clan Head went to the Aldercrest Order? How did he return so quickly? And he even brought back three such ferocious beasts!"

The Mercer Family disciples gathered in the square buzzed with excitement, unable to tear their eyes away from the three enormous crimson eagles.

Before long, under everyone’s watchful gazes, two more figures dismounted from the eagles’ backs.

When the crowd saw Adrian Mercer and the crimson bloodstains covering his robes, many were startled. Concern appeared on several faces as they wondered what had happened.

Others quickly realized something. Their eyes lit up, and one of them asked excitedly, "Brother Adrian, Brother Ethan! You’re covered in blood. Did you just fight your way back from the Aldercrest Order?"

The moment those words left his mouth, the entire square erupted.

Countless gazes immediately turned toward Adrian and Ethan.

The crowd fell silent, not daring to interrupt them. Everyone waited patiently for an answer.

Adrian didn’t disappoint them.

He nodded, a faint smile appearing on his face.

"The Sect Master and all the Elders of the Aldercrest Order died at the hands of the Clan Head. Ethan and I killed some of their disciples, while those who had only shallow ties to the Order were allowed to return home. The Aldercrest Order has been destroyed!"

For a moment, the entire square went completely still.

Then the Mercer Family members erupted into joyous celebration!

The Heavenly Origin Realm Elders who had hurried over after hearing the commotion were equally stunned. Their eyes shone with indescribable excitement.

They all understood what the Aldercrest Order represented.

It was a renowned power that had dominated the surrounding region for hundreds of years!

In the past, if the Mercer Family had wanted one of its descendants to enter such an influential sect, they would have needed to exhaust considerable resources and connections just to secure an opportunity.

If a family disciple managed to catch the attention of an Aldercrest Order Elder, it would have been a matter of enormous pride. For a small clan, such an achievement was practically a blessing from their ancestors.

A Clan Head might become so excited that he couldn’t sleep for three consecutive nights.

The family would hold a grand banquet to celebrate the disciple’s admission, inviting relatives and friends to share in the honor. The news would be announced with great fanfare, bringing prestige to the entire clan.

And all of that was merely a glimpse of the influence the Aldercrest Order had accumulated over centuries.

Even setting aside its reputation, the Sect Master, Roland Locke, had possessed enough strength and authority to command respect across several surrounding cities.

Countless small families had sought opportunities to establish connections with him, hoping that even a distant association with the Aldercrest Order might secure their future protection.

Yet now, this once-mighty sect had been erased from existence.

Just like that.

The realization left everyone overwhelmed.

One by one, the Mercer Family members turned toward the tall, imposing figure standing before them.

Julian Mercer.

Their Clan Head had accomplished something that would have seemed utterly impossible in the past.

The admiration in their eyes deepened into reverence.

Seeing that everyone was still struggling to digest the news, Ethan decided to add another astonishing detail.

"Hahaha! You have no idea how incredible the Clan Head was at the Aldercrest Order! Even their Sect Master couldn’t withstand a single move from him!"

Ethan launched into an animated account of what had happened, describing the battle with vivid enthusiasm.

As his story unfolded, the crowd became increasingly captivated. It felt as though they were standing right beside Julian, witnessing the destruction of the Aldercrest Order with their own eyes.

When they heard that Julian hadn’t even drawn his sword before unleashing a devastating attack that killed Roland Locke and several Elders in a single move, the entire square erupted with excitement once more.

"I heard those Elders of the Aldercrest Order were all Purple Mansion Realm cultivators!"

"Purple Mansion Realm? That’s nothing compared to what happened to their Sect Master! Roland Locke entered the Origin Sea Realm more than a decade ago. His strength was unmatched across much of the surrounding region, yet the Clan Head killed him with a single move. Honestly, I feel like I’m dreaming!"

"When did the Clan Head become so terrifying? Even a sect as powerful as the Aldercrest Order couldn’t do anything to him!"

"This is unbelievable! What Realm do you think the Clan Head has reached now?"

"..."

The discussions grew louder as the Mercer Family members tried to comprehend the full extent of Julian’s strength.

Some shook their heads in disbelief, while others speculated about his current cultivation. No matter what conclusions they reached, one thing was certain: the Clan Head’s strength had already surpassed anything they could have imagined.

Julian paid little attention to the commotion.

The Aldercrest Order had already been dealt with. There was no point dwelling on it any longer.

He had more important matters to address.

After surveying the gathered clansmen, Julian summoned everyone’s attention.

"Today, I issue a decree as Clan Head!"

His voice carried clearly across the square, instantly silencing the crowd.

"Tomorrow morning, all martial artists in the Heavenly Origin Realm will depart for the territories of our Mercer Family branch clans."

"Once you meet with the heads of those branches, convey my message to them. The mistakes committed by their ancestors will no longer be held against them. I am willing to forgive their past grievances and welcome them back into the Mercer Family so that we may develop together."

He paused, his gaze sweeping over the assembled clansmen.

"From this day forward, the descendants of our main clan and our branch families must stand united. We will put aside our past divisions, join forces, and strengthen the entire Mercer Family of Crownfall Mountain!"

As Julian’s final words rang out, the square fell into stunned silence.

The numerous Mercer Family members raised their heads, staring at their Clan Head in disbelief.

They had never expected Julian to show such extraordinary magnanimity.

He was willing to forgive all the branch families for the mistakes committed by their ancestors and welcome them back into the family. Rather than continuing to let the different branches develop separately, he intended to reunite them under the Mercer Family’s banner.

He would even allow them to come to Crownfall Mountain and share in the family’s growing prosperity!

For those branch families, this was an opportunity they could scarcely have dreamed of.

They would no longer need to struggle independently or worry about their family’s survival. By returning to the main clan, they could benefit from the resources and protection of a family whose influence was growing by the day.

The implications were enormous.

As countless thoughts raced through their minds, the Mercer Family members bowed together.

"We obey the Clan Head’s decree!"

Julian surveyed their expressions and nodded with satisfaction.

Reuniting the scattered branch families was an essential step toward strengthening the Mercer Family. Once everyone had returned, he could properly organize the family’s resources, improve its internal systems, and prepare for future development.

For now, the arrangements were sufficient.

With everything settled, Julian announced the end of the clan meeting.

Then, in full view of the assembled family members, his figure vanished from the spot.
