Chapter 207: The Furious Young Master & The Lustful Spring Trap

  • Next Chapter

The streets of Poison Valley Town were as lively as ever.

Merchants shouted over one another, spirit beasts pulled heavily loaded carts through the market, and mercenaries laughed as they stumbled out of taverns with wine jars in hand.

Then one furious young master ruined everyone’s peaceful afternoon.

Gu Bao marched down the street with a face so dark that people instinctively stepped aside.

His fists were clenched.

His teeth grinded together.

The more he thought about the humiliation he had just heavily suffered in the Gu Clan, most importantly in his own mother’s private spiritual garden, the angrier he became.

"I have only been gone for a few months..."

"I return as a First Stage Origin Realm cultivator..."

"And Mother escorts that cripple out herself?"

His eyes twitched violently.

"I am the future of the Gu Clan!" Gu Bao muttered to himself, "Then Why don’t they see it?"

"Why?"

Meanwhile, everyone on the street exchanged nervous glances. Nobody wanted to provoke someone whose spiritual pressure kept leaking out every few steps.

But as Bad luck would have it, the wooden planks stopping a merchant’s cart were tripped over by a customer and before the merchant could react, the cart rolled in front of Gu Bao in his way.

BOOM!

Gu Bao did not care to even stop or look around as kicked it aside the moment it tried to block his path.

Fresh spirit vegetables scattered across the road.

The old merchant nearly cried, "M-My vegetables... What have you done?"

"I am the future Patriarch of the Gu Clan!" Gu Bao continued to walk, not even looking over his shoulder, "Who dares block my path?"

Several cultivators watching from nearby frowned.

"Future Patriarch?"

"I heard Patriarch Gu Yangtian hasn’t even announced an heir."

"Shh..." Another stopped him from saying anything foolish, "Don’t say anything you might regret. With Madam Li’s backing, there is no one else in the race."

"What about Gu Chen?"

"Young Master Gu chen is from a branch family. No matter if he is once in a lifetime genius, he will fall in front of Gu Bao sooner or later."

"Hmph." Gu Bao frowned as he heard the murmurs and looked over his shoulder. The moment Gu Bao looked over, everyone instantly pretended to mind their own business.

Only then did he feel slightly better.

Unfortunately for him, that feeling lasted all but three breaths as the image of Madam Li personally escorting Gu Fan out of the courtyard appeared in his mind again and his expression twisted.

"I will show every single one of them."

"I will show that trash exactly what real status looks like."

A few minutes later...

The giant red lanterns of the Lustful Spring Pavilion appeared before him.

Gu Bao’s lips slowly curled upward.

"Perfect."

BOOM!

Without warning, Gu Bao didn’t even bother to knock or wait for the guards to open the door for him, and kicked the massive, heavy wooden front doors open with absolute bone-shattering force.

The heavy iron hinges violently shattered against the walls, actively producing a highly deafening, explosive crash that instantly silenced the entire crowded main hall of the busy brothel.

Music stopped.

Conversation stopped.

Even the dancing girls froze.

Every eye inside the pavilion turned toward the entrance.

Gu Bao stood there proudly with his chin raised.

Like a rooster that had somehow wandered onto a battlefield.

A hostess hurried over with a professional smile.

"Young Master, welco..."

She never finished.

Gu Bao casually reached into his spatial ring.

A shower of glowing spirit stones landed across the hall.

Clatter!

Clatter!

Hundreds of spirit stones rolled beneath the tables.

And the sound of the spirit stones made the scarred mercenaries and loud merchants pause their drinking, glaring directly at the arrogant youth completely disrupting their evening, but Gu Bao simply sneered highly viciously with pure, unadulterated arrogance plastered across his face.

"Bring me your absolute best sluts right this exact second!" Gu Bao roared aggressively at the absolute top of his lungs, "I don’t care what everyone else is drinking."

"I don’t care who booked what."

"Bring me your ten most beautiful women."

"And your strongest wine."

His voice echoed throughout the hall.

"I am Gu Bao!"

"I GET WHAT I WANT!"

Several drunk mercenaries nearly spilled their wine.

The nearby hostesses looked at one another in alarm.

One of them quickly forced a professional smile onto her face and hurried over, bowing respectfully.

"Young Master, welcome to the Lustful Spring Pavilion."

Her voice remained gentle.

"If you wish to entertain yourself, we will naturally arrange the finest girls and the best spirit wine for you."

She glanced at the spirit stones scattered across the floor before continuing carefully.

"However... several private rooms have already been reserved by distinguished guests. If Young Master could allow us a few moments, we can prepare another luxurious courtyard for..."

"I don’t care."

Gu Bao interrupted her before she could finish.

"I said I want the best."

"Not second best."

"Not almost the best."

"The best."

He pointed toward a group of beautiful women entertaining several wealthy cultivators.

"Those."

"They’re mine now."

The hostess’s smile stiffened.

"Young Master..."

"Those honoured guests reserved them this morning."

"They have already paid the reservation fee."

"If you wish, this servant can immediately summon another group of first-class courtesans..."

Gu Bao’s expression darkened.

"Are you deaf?"

"I said I want those women."

"They can entertain those nobodies another day."

The surrounding cultivators frowned.

The hostess lowered her head slightly.

"Please forgive this servant, Young Master, but the Pavilion has always followed the rule of first come, first served."

"We cannot casually break our own rules."

Gu Bao laughed.

"Rules?"

"What qualifications do your rules have to stand in front of me?"

"Bring every beautiful woman in this hall to my room."

The hostess didn’t move.

Instead, she bowed again.

"This servant truly cannot do that."

The smile on Gu Bao’s face slowly disappeared.

"So..."

"...you’re refusing me?"

The hostess’s palms became damp.

She knew she had already offended him, but if she threw distinguished guests out of their reserved rooms today, the Pavilion’s reputation would be ruined.

"Young Master, please calm your anger."

"We are willing to compensate you with our finest wine and another private courtyard."

"I guarantee your experience today will..."

"Enough!"

Gu Bao roared.

His Origin Realm aura burst out.

BOOM!

Several wine cups shattered.

The hostesses staggered backwards with pale faces.

The hall went completely silent after that and only the faint sounds of the girls holding their breath echoed in the silent hall.

Finally after a few breaths had passed a cultivator sitting at the nearest table slammed his heavy ale mug onto the wooden table after taking a big chug.

"Hey, you annoying little brat," the cultivator growled wiping his mouth by the back of his hand, "We are trying to quietly drink here, so why don’t you completely shut your loud mouth before I beat some basic manners directly straight into your ugly face."

"I have seen plenty of rich idiots," The cultivator sighed, helplessly looking at the sky at the downfall of this younger generations, "But this one might actually be competing for first place."

Gu Bao’s arrogant eyes frowned for a second before a smirk spread across his face.

He was already starving for a perfect excuse to let out some steam. He was either going to fuck a couple of girls, or fuck this man.

"Did you not here me?" Gu Bao asked the man, "I am Gu Bao."

"I don’t care if you are Gu Bao... Gu Tao or Groot..." The drunk man dismissively waved at Gu Bao, "Just fuck off before I came your head..."

But before the drunk man could complete, without saying another word, Gu Bao flared his Spiritual pressure, heavily focusing the massive, invisible weight perfectly entirely directly onto the sitting mercenary.

"Aggghk!" the old man gasped violently, his heavy wooden chair aggressively shattering completely directly underneath him exactly as the sheer, unadulterated Origin Realm pressure actively forced him perfectly straight down onto his bare knees.

The old man coughed up a thick mouthful of dark blood directly onto the floorboards, unable to even raise his heavy head as Gu Bao slowly walked over to the kneeling old man.

"You think someone like you deserves to mock me?" Gu Bao sneered and kicked him directly in the ribs.

Bang!

The mercenary rolled several metres before crashing into another table.

Wine splashed everywhere.

The hall fell silent.

"You pathetic, completely useless street dog!" Gu Bao laughed maniacally, kicking the bleeding mercenary again, "Do you honestly think you are worthy to speak directly to me?! I am a god among you pathetic ants!"

"And this is is what you get when you insects forget your place," Gu Bao looked around the hall, looking at every one of the cultivator, "You all are ants."

"Anyone else dare to raise their head against me?"

No one answered.

The entire crowded hall instantly fell completely dead silent.

"I thought so..." Gu Bao smirked.

~~~~~
Meanwhile...
Far above the noisy hall...
The atmosphere inside the top-floor VIP suite couldn’t have been more different.
Gu Fan leaned comfortably against a luxurious couch with a cup of spirit wine in his hand.
Lady Lin stood behind him, gently kneading his shoulders.
"So..." She teased with a smile, "Do you think we can go for another round? I missed you so much."
"Hehehe," Gu Fan took a sip of wine, "You both have decided to drain me dry, haven’t you?"
"We have been waiting for you," Lady Lin pouted, complaining to Gu Fan, "And you are late."
Lady Lin rolled her eyes dramatically, "And you only come to get yout share. How transactional."
"Hey, don’t say that," Gu Fan chuckled, "If you give me my share every day, I will live here with you both."
"I get paid to fuck you."
"You really deserve a beating sometimes." Lady Lin lightly flicked his forehead.
Before Gu Fan could answer, three knocks echoed from outside the suite.
Lady Lin smiled knowingly.
"Come in."
The door opened, and Madam Zhao stepped inside with an amused expression that immediately caught Gu Fan’s attention.
She looked between the two of them before smiling.
"I hope I am not interrupting."
"But your brother is here."
