He released her hand and sat down on the ground, then leaned back against the wall.

His elongated eyes fixed intently on her.

Many things are hard to realize when angry, but become clear once calmed down.

Youyou always followed him around and watched him hit the punching bag for so long. Given her abilities, she definitely knew she couldn’t beat him.

She was merely finding an excuse to have a fight with him, allowing him to vent his emotions.

If he hadn’t constantly remembered she was his sister earlier, he might have really hurt her in such a situation.

"Wait for me; I’ll be right back!" Youyou hesitated for a second, didn’t sit down with him, and blinked her eyes before turning and running out swiftly, disappearing from sight.

She took a sip herself before handing it to Jiang Nan.

"Drinking on an empty stomach is bad for your body, so I bought some snacks. If you’re hungry, you can eat first." Youyou gestured towards the various snacks on the ground.

Jiang Nan stared at her small face for a while before taking the beer from her hand and taking several gulps.

"Drink slower, you’re not just drinking and chatting, you clearly want to get drunk in a second and then it’ll be my burden to carry you." Youyou reached out to snatch the beer from him, stuffing a packet of biscuits into his hand.

"Eat this first; otherwise, you’re not allowed to touch the beer."

"..." Jiang Nan frowned slightly.

She had only been back from Germany for a few days, yet she seemed to have turned into an old nag. From the moment she appeared, she kept chattering, and his ears were growing calloused from her relentless talking.

Jiang Nan glanced at her. Even though he felt she was meddling, he still took the biscuits from her hand, tore open the package, and started eating.

After eating a few, he twisted his brows.

"You can only buy me girly snacks? No beef jerky or anything like that?" Jiang Nan rummaged through the pile of stuff she bought, seeing preserved plums, dried fruits, milk candies...

She seemed to treat him like a "gal pal," thinking he could fill up on these.

"Don’t give you an inch; you’d take a mile. Be grateful you have snacks, and don’t act like I’m obliged to serve you. If you don’t like it, give them back!" Youyou shot back, stretching to grab the biscuits from him.

Just as she was about to grab them, Jiang Nan brought the biscuits close to his mouth, "Bleh, bleh, bleh—"

"Now they’re covered in my saliva. Do you still want them? If you do, I’ll give them to you."
