"Young Master Jiang Nan, you’re awake. When I was patrolling last night, I saw you sleeping on the ground. Worried that you might catch a cold, I had people help you back to your room."

The assistant heard the noise in the room and came in, reporting respectfully.

"Did you bring me back?" Jiang Nan glanced around the room and realized he was still in the boxing gym, in his private resting area.

"Where’s Miss Youyou? She was lying next to me yesterday. Where has she gone?"

Thinking of Youyou, a hint of worry clearly flashed in Jiang Nan’s eyes.

"In response to your question, young master, Miss Youyou was more intoxicated than you. When I discovered you both in the venue, she had already woken up and left the boxing gym on her own, saying she needed to sleep at home."

The assistant answered respectfully, fearing Jiang Nan might be displeased, and hurriedly added.

"I saw she was a young woman and had been drinking, so I discreetly had someone follow her until she safely arrived home, and then our person returned."

Knowing she’s fine, Jiang Nan relaxed, reaching to rub his forehead.

"What time is it?"

"Three in the afternoon," the assistant answered respectfully.

Jiang Nan was taken aback and looked up in surprise.

He had slept for most of the day; coupled with yesterday, it’s as if he had been missing for almost two days.

Jiang Nan threw off the quilt, strode forward, took a set of clothes from the wardrobe, and turned into the bathroom.

After getting ready, he stepped out of the boxing gym.

Just as he arrived at the parking lot, he saw a familiar figure standing beside his car, with deep black eyes fixed on him.

As their gaze met, Jiang Nan’s eyes tightened.

Neither of them spoke first, simply looking at each other across the distance.

Dan Tingye didn’t rush forward, standing with his hands at his sides, his tall figure bathed in sunlight, like a layer of holy light over his perfect face.

After a long while, Jiang Nan finally walked forward, silently sitting into the car.

He didn’t sit in the driver’s seat but chose the passenger seat instead.

Dan Tingye’s eyes flickered as he stepped into the car, taking the keys from Jiang Nan’s hand, starting the engine, and soon driving out of the parking lot.

Throughout the journey, the car was filled with a palpable tension; neither brother spoke.

A strange silence spread within the car, lasting until they arrived at the Dan Group’s headquarters building.

Dan Tingye parked the car, his handsome face showing little expression, without looking at Jiang Nan, he directly opened the car door and headed towards the elevator.

Jiang Nan watched him for a few seconds before opening the car door and following him.

Entering the office, Dan Tingye pressed the intercom, instructing that no one should come up.

Seeing Jiang Nan follow him inside, he slowly raised his head, looking directly at him.

"How did you find me?" Jiang Nan approached, casually sitting on the sofa.

His face didn’t have a smile, nor was it filled with hatred, but it lacked the familiarity he previously shared with Dan Tingye. The two brothers seemed to have become strangers overnight.

"Bang—"

After Jiang Nan spoke, Dan Tingye threw a document in front of him.

He picked it up and glanced at it, narrowing his eyes.

"You knew all along?"

"Not just you, I have my own forces as well. As long as they’re not misused, I won’t interfere with you, nor will I tell anyone else."

"Such a good older brother you are; with you protecting me like this, no wonder I can live so easily, effortlessly avoiding the Jiang Family’s spies."

Jiang Nan laughed self-mockingly, his long, peach blossom eyes fixed on Dan Tingye.
