The warm sun leaped over the horizon, gradually dispelling the darkness of the sky.

A gentle breeze brushed past, lifting the curtains, and the dazzling light spots danced on the windowsill.

"Hmm..."

Dan Tingye reached out to press his brow, his dark eyes slowly opening, his strong body moved slightly, and the thin quilt slipped from his chest, revealing his firm chest.

His perfect abs carried an alluring honey color in the dim light.

Even though the effects of the medicine had worn off, his mind was still somewhat hazy. His tall body slowly sat up and as he recalled the events of last night, he instinctively turned his head to look beside him.

His gaze landed on the empty side of the bed, and his eyes tightened!

He reached out to lift the quilt, not a shadow beside him. If not for the trace of red on the sheets and the nail scratches on his chest, he would have thought everything from last night was just a dream...

Where is Meimei? Where did she go?

Dan Tingye’s dark eyes deepened as he recalled her resistance and panic last night, a slight tightening in his heart. Did he scare her too much?

He reached out and pressed his forehead, trying hard to recall, but he couldn’t remember anything from the latter part of last night.

Dan Tingye shook his head forcefully, just about to lift the quilt when the sound of footsteps reached his ears, and his hand abruptly paused.

Before he could lift his head, he saw Youyou striding in, leaning against the door. Upon seeing Dan Tingye sitting on the bed, she was first stunned, dazed for several seconds before covering her eyes and screaming.

"Why haven’t you put on clothes yet?!"

Looking at Youyou standing in front of him, Dan Tingye’s mind went blank, the joy in his heart vanished in an instant, his dark eyes contracted sharply, looking at her in disbelief.

Last night... was it Youyou in the room?

This thought flashed through his mind like a thunderclap, his body instantly tensed.

"Why are you standing there dazed, hurry up and put your clothes on, I’ll wait for you outside!" Youyou peeked at his chest through her fingers again, clicked her tongue, swallowed hard, and rushed out of the room.

At the door, she couldn’t help but look back.

Strange, yesterday the butler clearly said this was Meimei’s room, so how did it suddenly turn into Dan Tingye sleeping here?

Where did Meimei go?

Youyou scratched her head, standing in place with a bewildered look.

Just as she was about to check the room next door, the door behind her suddenly opened from the inside. Dan Tingye, wearing only suit pants and his shirt crumpled and hanging on him, without the time to button it, suddenly stretched out and grabbed Youyou’s wrist.

His enchanting face shone with complex emotions, looking into Youyou’s sparkling big eyes, unable to utter the words that came to his lips.

He had always been firm in believing that the one person in the world he would never mistake was Meimei, but now, reality had given him a resounding slap.

"Last night, I..."

"Let go of Youyou!"

A cold, stern voice interrupted Dan Tingye’s words, and he looked up abruptly toward the staircase, catching sight of Jiang Nan’s figure, his eyes flickering slightly, slowly releasing Youyou’s hand.

Jiang Nan frowned, stepping forward quickly, grabbing Youyou and pulling her behind him, raising an eyebrow at Dan Tingye, his gaze carrying a chill.

"Brother, if you have Meimei, treat her well and don’t be fickle. Youyou is not someone you can joke around with."
