A Bumpy Road to Power
Chapter 1191 - 1191
In the blink of an eye.
The three rich kids were knocked down.
The manager, Heidi, was shocked.
She rushed to Young Master Zhu's side and helped him up.
Young Master Zhu, grimacing in pain, was helped up but instead of being grateful, he pushed Heidi away and shouted, "Manager Heidi, I got beaten up at your hotel entrance, are you just going to stand by and watch?"
Heidi finally came to her senses.
She immediately took out the radio from her waist and shouted, "Security, all security guards gather at the main entrance."
In an instant.
The hotel's entrance was in chaos.
The security guards cornered from all directions and rushed out.
In a flash.
More than a dozen people were assembled.
Heidi imperiously pointed at Dirk Carter and angrily demanded, "Tie him up and take him to the police station."
Seeing the security guards move.
Dirk Carter suddenly raised a hand and shouted, "Wait a minute."
"Heh, now you've realized your mistake? I'm telling you! It's too late! You hit our Young Master Zhu, if I don't vent this anger for him, I might as well quit as manager."
Heidi exclaimed with hands on her hips, filled with righteous indignation.
Dirk Carter sneered, "Manager Heidi, right? You saw with your own eyes your hotel's greeter being bullied. I was just helping to resolve the trouble. What now? Like how dogs don't recognize their benefactors?"
This scene.
The surrounding onlookers witnessed it all.
Many guests echoed along.
Seeing the public opinion turn against them.
One would expect Heidi to realize her mistake.
But apparently not.
Her face flushed red, she retorted, "This is the Seaview Grand Hotel, my territory. Whoever Young Master Zhu wants to protect, he can do whatever he wants."
Young Master Zhu was quite pleased upon hearing this.
He patted his luxury car with his hand.
Showing off, he said, "Kid, this is the power of money, understand?"
"Didn't understand before, now I do. Money can blind people and turn an upright person into an obedient dog, right?"
Dirk Carter remarked slowly.
The crowd erupted into laughter.
Heidi's face turned red with anger.
She shouted, "Are you insulting me?"
"Why, do you still consider yourself a person?"
Dirk Carter retorted.
This sentence.
Caused Heidi to explode.
She rolled up her sleeves, grimaced and said, "Audacious fool, if I don't teach you a lesson today, I'll change my surname. You think you can make trouble at the Seaview Grand Hotel? Who do you think you are? Come on, hit him. No matter what happens, I'll handle it."
"Can you handle it?"
From the crowd.
A cold voice rang out.
Thinking it was just some onlooker stirring things up.
Heidi erupted in fury, "Who? Who the hell is making noise back there, come out here and see if I don't crush you."
A gap opened in the crowd.
With a stern face, Noelle Meyer, accompanied by Faye Ullman revealed her presence.
As the lobby manager of a hotel under Seaview Group, there was no reason not to recognize the chairman. Seeing Noelle Meyer, Heidi felt a chill through her body.
Her arrogant expression quickly turned obsequious.
She greeted her, bowing and scraping, smiling, "Chairman, Chairman, why are you here? Why didn't you notify beforehand, so I could dispatch a car to pick you up?"
"If I had sent a car to pick me, wouldn't I miss such a wonderful drama?"
Noelle Meyer asked.
Heidi's heart suddenly jumped to her throat.
She quickly turned her eyes and pointed at Dirk Carter, saying, "Chairman, this guy at our hotel's entrance beat our guest. I... I was just trying to solve the problem..."
"Is that so? Are you sure?"
Noelle Meyer asked.
Heidi had no idea that Dirk Carter and Noelle Meyer were in cahoots.
She nodded emphatically, saying, "Chairman, would I lie to you? He did the beating, this fellow is insufferably wild, if not disciplined, it might tarnish our hotel's reputation."
After finishing these words.
Heidi felt somewhat proud.
She silently acclaimed herself for her agile response, truly a genius.
While everyone eagerly watched Noelle Meyer handle the commotion.
She walked straight up to Dirk Carter.
Her eyes fixed on him.
Suddenly, she shouted, "Security!"
The chairman had spoken.
The dozen security guards shouted loudly, "Present!"
This scene.
Also made Heidi wear a smug look.
"Expel that so-called Young Master Zhu from the Seaview Grand Hotel premises, blacklist their group to ensure none of them ever step into any Seaview Group property again, additionally, terminate lobby manager Heidi Griffin effective immediately, report her to the hotel industry black list, never to be employed."
Once Noelle Meyer finished speaking.
The venue fell silent.
The pride on Heidi Griffin's face instantly froze.
She stood there dumbstruck, unable to move.
"Manager Heidi... no, Madam Heidi Griffin, are you satisfied with this decision?"
Noelle Meyer turned to her, asked with a soft smile.
Heidi Griffin gulped.
Her heart cried out in despair.
She couldn't say a word.
"Damn it, what a shitty hotel, beat me up and now trying to kick me out, you're seriously done for. Do you believe one phone call from me and I'll shut down your hotel?"
Faced with the sudden change of events.
Young Master Zhu was furious.
He took out his phone ready to make a call.
At that moment.
A document with a black leather cover.
Was handed to him by Dirk Carter.
"What's this?"
Young Master Zhu asked.
Dirk Carter gave a slight smile.
Said, "I'm here for lunch today, don't want trouble, I suggest you take a look before you make that call."
Half doubting.
Young Master Zhu accepted the document.
Upon opening it, just one glance stunned him.
"Provincial Commiss..."
Murmuring, he was about to speak aloud.
Dirk Carter gestured him to silence.
Stopped him from saying the rest.
Took back the document, put it away, leaned to his ear, asked, "Can you apologize now?"
"I'm... I'm sorry... I... I was wrong, I will never... I will never do it again..."
Young Master Zhu bowed ninety degrees to Dirk Carter.
Humbly apologized.
This scene stunned the bystanders.
The Young Master Zhu who moments ago was all fire, now turned into a wilting eggplant.
"Not to me, to her."
Dirk Carter pointed to Tara Sullivan who was shrinking in the corner.
Young Master Zhu did not hesitate at all.
Taking small steps, he approached Tara Sullivan.
Before he could speak.
Dirk Carter reminded, "To apologize sincerely, can someone who did wrong stand?"
What did this mean?
Was he asking Young Master Zhu to kneel?
Just as everyone thought he wouldn't do it.
Young Master Zhu plopped down in front of Tara Sullivan and knelt.
