"Descendant from the Kong Family in S Province, currently managing real estate and finance overseas. The family is huge, and this Ms. Kong is a direct descendant and one of the heirs of Kong Group," Jiang Jingheng replied.

"That’s a bit odd." Zhuang Shaoyang mused, "Why is she so good to Nuannuan? What motive does she have in getting close to Nuannuan?"

"I don’t know about that, but so far she hasn’t shown any intent to harm Mu Yan," Jiang Jingheng replied coolly.

Zhuang Shaoyang felt relieved, "If she’s truly good to Nuannuan, then it’s fine."

Nuannuan has no mom, having someone care about her can somewhat fill that void.

Mu Yan washed her face and went downstairs, only to find Zhuang Shaoyang already gone.

She didn’t ask why Zhuang Shaoyang came today; she was really indifferent to him.

Just after they sat down for dinner, Jiang Jingheng received a call from the Jiang Family.

Jiang Yutai was caught for drug use and was at the station. The Jiang Family wanted Jiang Jingheng to get him out.

Mu Yan was simply speechless at Jiang Yutai. What is wrong with his brain? Of all things to do, he went to use drugs, can’t he understand those things are untouchable?

Even though Jiang Jingheng doesn’t have a good relationship with Jiang Yutai, the old man called and asked him to handle it, so he couldn’t decline.

Mu Yan frowned, "Can you get him out?"

"That wouldn’t work, my uncle hates such things, and they won’t achieve the desired result. Can the old man and your second uncle be content?" Mu Yan was doubtful, "Would they blame you for not trying hard enough?"

Jiang Jingheng countered, "Even if I managed to get Jiang Yutai out from the station, would they be grateful to me?"

Mu Yan shook her head, of course not.
