Ao Song was amused by her mother’s expression, and the gloom in her heart dissipated a lot.

"Are you sure? Won’t they use the family rules to punish you?" She was still a bit uneasy.

"We didn’t help you escape, so what crime is there? Once they confirm you helped Ruozhu and the others leave, they’ll completely expel you from the family." "What’s wrong?" The astrologer stepped forward to ask.

"We’re leaving now, my parents told me to break away from the Zhong Family," Ao Song said.

Bai Ruozhu was shocked, "Is it because of me?"

She felt guilty inside, not expecting to implicate Ao Song.

She felt relieved somewhat, but worried Xiaoxiao would be upset waking to find she had left; after all, it was just a child.

"Master, I’ll stay behind to leave it a message; it can understand me when I speak," Quanxin suddenly said.

Bai Ruozhu was taken aback, "You can leave my space now? Is it okay?"

Quanxin laughed, "I ate Taisui meat, so I can. It helped me, so I ought to repay you all, right?"

"Tell it we’re being forced to escape first, but we’ll be outside the city waiting for it. When it wakes, let it find me. If it can’t find me, it can surely find you, right?" Bai Ruozhu asked.

"Yes." Quanxin jumped inside the space.

"Be careful not to be found by the Zhong Family, and Ning Ran, don’t get caught," Bai Ruozhu advised further.

The Zhong Family people weren’t as scary as Ning Ran.

The biggest worry had found a solution, Bai Ruozhu finally let out a sigh of relief. The group didn’t need to pack much, and they had Jianqi scouting the situation before using the cover of night to leave the yard.

"Master, the Zhong Family’s six clan elders are coming over, looks like they’re here to catch us," Jianqi reported.

"Roughly how many people?" Bai Ruozhu asked.

Ao Song said anxiously, "Six Grandpa’s guard has around twenty people, not sure if they’ve brought others."

"They brought eighteen people, and guards from the residence are also gathering towards us," Jianqi said.

"Seems they plan to surround us." Jiang Yichun squinted, "Looks like we’ll have a big fight."

Ao Song showed irritation, "No need, follow me, I have a solution."

She was fired up; today, whoever tries to force her, she’d fight; if Buddha blocks, she’d defeat Buddha!

The group followed Ao Song towards the western part of the yard, carefully avoiding surrounding guards, but someone still spotted them. Jiang Yichun and Jianqi immediately rushed over and knocked them out.

The group approached the well, ready to jump in, when suddenly footsteps sounded outside the yard, followed by the voice of the sixth clan elder.

Ao Song’s face changed drastically, "You go first, I’ll hold them off. They dare not harm me."

Bai Ruozhu hurriedly signaled Gao Zhou and Chushuang to take the children down first, also gave Ao Qi and Tu Ying a knowing look. They dared not affect the situation, and immediately followed the arrangement.
