Chapter 3057: Chapter 3058: Related to Her

Jiang Yichun leaned against her, resting his chin on her shoulder, sticking to her as if he had no bones.

"Can you see anything?" he lazily asked.

"Didn’t get a good rest? Go back to sleep for a while." Bai Ruozhu felt a bit sorry for her man; recently, because of Ao Song’s incident, none of them had rested well. Finally, Ao Song and the Astrologer were fine, but then Ning Ran appeared.

"Not sleepy, it’s comfortable leaning against you." he said lazily.

Bai Ruozhu couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Clearly, he was a cold male god, but now he was acting cute?

When there’s no one around, he really is different.

She reached back and touched his cheek, "Be good, don’t disturb me, I haven’t figured out what this drawing is yet."

Jiang Yichun raised an eyebrow—oh, was she complaining that he was interrupting her serious work?

He pointed at some patterns and said, "These represent several treasures. Here and here, I’ve been to, and the drawings explain what these treasures are used for."

Bai Ruozhu turned her head towards him, "Impressive, you didn’t even look carefully yet could guess to this extent."

She always knew her man was smart, but many times his nature was too aloof, not caring about anything unless it was related to her and the children.

Her heart tightened, "Is this drawing related to me?"

Jiang Yichun pointed to a place, "I glanced at it before and saw this."

It was a mark in the shape of a fish, very small and crude. Compared to other detailed patterns, it seemed casually drawn, not representing anything significant. But could the Sheepskin Scroll, treasured as it was, have useless information on it?

Bai Ruozhu raised her hand, revealing a fish-shaped birthmark. She didn’t have this birthmark in her previous life. After transmigrating here, she quickly noticed this birthmark and discovered the Space within her.

The fish on the Sheepskin Scroll was almost identical to her birthmark, but because it was just a vague shape, she hadn’t paid attention to it before. It was Jiang Yichun’s reminder that made her think of it.

"Anything related to you, I remember very clearly." he said softly, reaching out to tuck hair behind her ear, his fingers brushing against her cheek with extraordinary gentleness, making her heart melt in an instant.

"How old do you think this Sheepskin Scroll is? The writings haven’t been altered, right?" Bai Ruozhu asked, as Jiang Yichun was much better at checking traces than she was.

Jiang Yichun took the Sheepskin Scroll and examined it closely, his eyes turning serious. Bai Ruozhu was captivated by his reaction, staring as her man looked genuinely handsome when serious—how could he be so devilishly good-looking? Thankfully, he didn’t like to smile, or he would certainly charm both men and women.

As she continued to daydream, Jiang Yichun finished inspecting.

"At least a century old, and the writing itself is aged. There’s only one part that wasn’t drawn together with the rest." he said.

Bai Ruozhu looked at the fish, "This fish?"

Jiang Yichun shook his head, "Not here, it’s this position."

He pointed to a middle stroke, "I don’t know if it’s a later addition by the illustrator or someone adding a stroke to confuse things. Although it’s not drawn at the same time, it’s within five years of the previous drawings."

Bai Ruozhu listened with admiration, "You can even tell that! All I can see are the same ink marks."

"That’s not ink; it’s a special kind of medicine liquid." Jiang Yichun corrected.
