Others also realised this.

"Wait, you are telling me they didn't establish their region in a stormy region, but rather they created this storm in their region?"

Pyro and Igni also realised this as they narrowed their eyes.

"This storm... wasn't it here since the time we noticed it? We kept on ignoring this place, thinking it was some high-level beast's lair."

At that, Pyro and Igni scoffed.

"So what? It's just a storm with fast winds and this stupid lightning—"

Crackle—crash!

Another black lightning bolt struck near them, forcing them to jump away. They were in their human forms now.

"Motherfucker! It must be that human! He has the power to cause environmental changes and the water element to bring these clouds!" Pyro shouted, covering his eyes against the strong wind.

"Though I don't know who is using this wind... I didn't see him using it the last time we fought."

At that moment, danger bells started ringing in all of their heads, and they snapped their heads up to see multiple pillars of black lightning crashing down. Some looked weak and manageable, but some seemed capable of ripping their scales off.

"Shit! Dodge!"

All five dragons scattered, planning to meet at the location of the stronghold. Travelling on foot was easier than flying because of the strong wind under the tree cover. They quickly made their way toward the beacon, but halfway along the path, they caught a glimpse of the kilometre-long chasm and the golden dome of aura.

But that didn't stop their momentum. Flying was still an option, and with that cliff, the wind must be rebounding, meaning they could use that lift to reach the island at the centre where the beacon was situated.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOOM!

The black lightning's intensity had increased so much that the dragons couldn't move two steps forward before being forced to jump a step away and dodge.

"Arrrgghhhh!!"

Suddenly, the four dragons heard a scream. Someone had been hit.

"Kharvex!" they called out, but what followed next made their backs go cold.

CRASH! CRASH! BOOM! BLAST! BOOM! CRASH!

Multiple thick bolts of black lightning crashed down at Kharvex's location as his screams intensified.

But surprisingly, Kharvex took it all.

Even Lily, above the clouds, was surprised at the durability of this dragon's body, but that didn't mean she stopped—she intensified the attacks even more.

And soon, the 4 dragons' life bracelets beeped, and 1 of the 24 small dots dimmed.

"FUCK!" Pyro cursed, but he also realised the danger of the lightning.

He knew someone must be spotting them through the sky, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't sense anybody in the sky.

And how could he? Lily was in Stealth—using Shyra's skill.

Suddenly, the wind stopped.

And before the dragons could rejoice at the thought that they could freely fly, the wind started again, this time in the opposite direction, pushing them towards the territory.

"W-what?!" Igni was thoroughly confused. Why would anybody want to make it easy for them to reach their beacon?

But Pyro was filled with a sense of opportunity.

"EVERYONE, TRANSFORM! WE ARE GOING TO AVENGE KHARVEX!"

At once, 4 dragons appeared in the forest. Pyro and Igni were both 17 meters long from head to tail and stood 6 meters tall, while the other two were slightly shorter. Their wingspans were 1.5 times their body length as they took flight almost simultaneously.

Riding the wind's momentum, they swiftly reached the edge of the chasm and were shocked to see that it was filled with water, which didn't actually give them a good feeling. Somehow, they could feel the presence of a dangerous draconic being around.

"HAH! No wonder he was able to defeat us both previously! He has a dragon tame!" Igni realised and relayed the thought to Pyro, as realisation dawned on him too.

Without thinking twice, they began their flight above the water moat and aimed at the turtle aura dome, firing red flames together.

WHHOOOSSSHHH!!

BRRRRR!!

4 bright red flame breaths crashed into the aura dome and started spreading, making the dome glow bright yellow. Lily immediately felt her stamina drain rapidly, but thankfully, the dome held.

Then suddenly—

DHOOM! DHOOM! DHOOM! DHOOM!

The striking points of the red flame breaths blasted apart, immediately shattering the whole 1st layer of the aura dome. Since Lily made the force permeate the whole dome structure rather than a single hexagonal section, the impact immediately shattered the 1st layer.

But 4 layers remained.

The dragons fired more breath attacks, and wherever they struck, they caused an explosion.

A trait of red flame. They are highly destructive and more aggressive than other flame types.

But Lily only allowed the two waves of attacks to happen in order to test the aura dome's durability against red flame. Now things would begin: her first move.

The wind once again stopped abruptly, disorienting the dragons riding it. The next moment, crushing pressure slammed into their bodies, making their eyes widen in realisation.

They had walked right into the trap, and now they would fall into the water below.

SPLASH!!

The wind pressure caused the still water to thrash wildly and rise 10s of meters around the edges.

"Hold the ground!" Igni shouted, aiming to get a hold of the island's 1-kilometre-long pillar. But they still had more than 500 meters to cover.

Thankfully, something helped them.

The wind, which was crushed down, found no place to escape and pushed back against the pressure, giving the dragons enough time to latch onto the 1-kilometre pillar and start climbing it using their sharp claws.

They were hell-bent on taking out Aurelius Beast Academy's Stronghold.

But once again, the wind stopped, making the dragons promptly spread their wings and fly up.

But when they raised their heads, they saw massive wooden columns with sharpened ends coming to punch them.

"Dodge!"

They threw themselves back from the island pillar, making the columns submerge in the water with little to no splash due to their pointed ends and straight angles.

At that time, Kaelion summoned his Skyreaver above them, taking them by surprise with such a huge beast.

"It's him!" They recognised Kaelion immediately. They had been following him.

But they couldn't relax even for a second because the same wooden stakes were coming to strike again.

They once again retreated. Dodging them was easy if the path was known.

Well, 3 of them were successful.

"WHO?!" Pyrotrax shouted in panic because he couldn't fly away from the massive arrow's path and was actually pushed in front.

"Heh... Should we settle our score again?" Leo's voice came, sending a surge of rage through Pyrotrax.

"HUMAANNNNNN!!!" He blasted in anger.

"DRAGON! I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD YOUR NAME FROM YOUR MOUTH!!!"

Leo shouted with the same energy, with a hint of amusement, and immediately flew up to Pyro's face, held one of his horns, and pulled back forcefully, exposing the soft underskin of the region below the neck to the coming wooden column with the sharpened end.
