Abyss Summoner

Chapter 861: A New Plane

  • Next Chapter

Chen Feng had already visited many planes. The first one he discovered was a place similar to a tropical rainforest, and Chen Feng even captured quite a few slaves there. Back then, his power was too weak, and the energy in the void was not particularly stable, so Chen Feng hastily withdrew and did not stay too long.

At that time, the energy in the void was not particularly stable, and the planes that appeared could disappear at any time. Chen Feng was also afraid of experiencing a crossing, after all, a plane is not like the Abyss. One is a completely unfamiliar world, the other is the ‘hometown’ he signed a contract with.

The second plane was the Insect Realm, a place Chen Feng could never forget, with the horrifying sight of countless insects gathering together.

However, in that Insect Realm, Chen Feng still gained many things. The damaged plane could expand because he entered it and devoured countless insects, achieving its first transformation.

After several battles, the Insect Realm suffered heavy losses and was forced to seal itself to reduce meaningless casualties.

Compared to the first plane Chen Feng entered, the Insect Realm experienced a second energy storm, making its position more stable. Although it has not disappeared, as long as the Insect Realm exists, it remains a hidden threat. This time, upon returning, Chen Feng intended to invade it thoroughly, trying to truly terrify and cripple the Insect Realm, which would better protect the Order and its surroundings.

The Abyss doesn’t count; it’s just another world Chen Feng communicates with. As a higher plane, once the Abyss merges with this world, not to mention Chen Feng, even a true Epic powerhouse might be unable to save the day. After all, demons are endless; wherever they appear means destruction!

And now, the colorful rift before Chen Feng was the third plane he truly interacted with, but it was unclear what kind of world and culture existed on the other side?

The Legendary Giant Whale lay quietly beside him, afraid to make a sound. Honestly, it was somewhat afraid of the rift. This was the ocean’s fear of land; a Legendary Giant Whale could reign supreme in the sea, but on land, it would become a pitiful stray. Over time, even a Bronze monster could devour it effortlessly, so, no matter what, the whale would never cross through it to face devastating blows.

On the contrary, Chen Feng developed a strange interest here. Exploring a new world, as an explorer of unknown environments, what could be more exciting than this?

The Legendary Giant Whale once said, Pang Mu went deep inside and came out unharmed, even capturing a monster. This implied that there were not many terrifying enemies around this rift.

Chen Feng previously wondered if this was a trump card left by that deity, who descended here and created a rift using terrifying means, and that this plane was the world where the deity’s true form resided.

Chen Feng’s suspicion wasn’t unwarranted, only that the deity’s methods were too frightening. A god is an incomprehensible form of life; caution never hurt.

However, with Pang Mu entering and coming out without any harm, Chen Feng’s worries were dispelled. If that deity truly wanted to possess Pang Mu’s body, he would have been immediately detected once entering the world, and the supreme means could directly refine him. There was no need to go through this long process, waiting for Pang Mu’s weakness to make a move, attempting to devour him.

With that said, it might be worth considering exploring it. Of course, caution is paramount. Chen Feng would not enter this foreign world alone. With a wave of his hand, a rift appeared beside him, and two petite figures emerged on either side.

Flora, Inferior Demon.

Having ascended to legendary status, the aura around Flora was like a mighty mountain. Though she appeared as a radiant young girl, she exerted boundless pressure; just a few glances could immobilize someone as if buried under stones, unable to move.

That’s because Flora’s fist aura had elevated once again. As a Master of Fist, every new realm she reached brought obvious changes to her body.

At the Golden Tier, Flora resembled a Martial Arts Master, her pressure not yet apparent. But stepping into legendary status, Flora was akin to a towering mountain, overwhelming those beneath with little chance of resistance!

“Master!” Flora called softly, respectfully.

The Inferior Demon beside her seemed to have just woken up. In the previous days’ battle, the Inferior Demon had also injured its Origin. For a godspawn, devouring and sleeping were the most effective means of recovery. Over these days, the Inferior Demon hadn’t returned to the Abyss but instead stayed at the Sea God’s Residence, feasting on large fish and meat, then sleeping. Even now, it appeared half-awake, yawning incessantly.

Upon seeing Chen Feng, the Inferior Demon rubbed its eyes, quickly stepping forward, weakly saying, “Master…hug…”

Watching the fragile little figure of the Inferior Demon stumble toward him, a faint smile formed on Chen Feng’s lips. Time had indeed flown by.

He vaguely remembered the first time the Inferior Demon said that to him. It was a decaying body with an adorable face. The Inferior Demon had just mutated then, lacking intelligence, relying on him in a primitive way. Who would have thought that such a frightening existence would turn into this cute appearance today?

Of course, Chen Feng knew that underneath that cute exterior lay a heart devoid of emotion. Like an adorable girl, when it came to battle and slaughter, it transformed into the most terrifying executioner. The Inferior Demon’s dependence belonged solely to him. Apart from this reliance, it remained the world’s most malevolent entity.

The ascension of a godspawn is always unique. Though the Inferior Demon had been gravely wounded, its astonishing recovery abilities restored it in just a few days. Besides, the breakdown leading to establishment subtly improved its prowess. Of the few summoned beasts, the next to reach half-step Epic would be either Saruman or the Inferior Demon. As for Elwin, his focus was entirely on the auction house. Flora had just ascended and needed time to brew and amass to step into half-step Epic.

Yet Saruman and the Inferior Demon are different. The former has always been full of mystery among the summoned beasts, and now, mastering the Necromancer Holy Land, especially where the Demigod Mummy exploded, could allow him to absorb enough epic aura to complete his transformation soon.

Similarly, the Inferior Demon, as a godspawn, differs from ordinary life. By devouring some creatures of the same rank with epic aura, it can undergo such transformation.

With Flora and the Inferior Demon by his side, Chen Feng’s confidence in exploring this unknown world undoubtedly increased.

Chen Feng set his gaze on the colorful rift, muttering to himself, “What could be inside?”
