Chapter 866: Female Chieftain

  • Next Chapter

The campfire was lit.

Chen Feng did not make things difficult for the deer; instead, he let it return to inform the chieftain of their tribe. As a member of a primitive civilization, Chen Feng naturally had many resources to negotiate with them.

Of course, the premise is that the other party accepts his goodwill.

As long as the other party is willing to negotiate, Chen Feng is confident that with the resources at hand, nothing will be a problem.

Chen Feng was still uncertain of the exact nature of the deer’s species, but he could make some general judgments based on its aura.

The Devil is malevolent.

The Demon is chaotic.

This is a clear racial aura, even the kindest person staying in a malevolent place for too long will surely be tainted by some negative emotions.

But the deer just now was different, timid and cowardly. Even possessing the strength of a Golden Tier, it trembled at the slightest scare, not at all like a ruthless thug.

This leads to the judgment that the environment they live in is more like a hunting-centric tribe and does not involve particularly brutal killings. Otherwise, a deer at the Golden Tier would not have been so out of sorts.

Time slowly passed.

However, Chen Feng and his group were not idle. The Inferior Demon personally caught some wild beasts, and Flora then butchered them and placed them on the campfire for slow roasting.

The rich smell of roasted meat spread all around; Chen Feng did not expect Flora to have such skills. Apart from being proficient in combat, her grilling skills also reached max level.

At such a realm, the energy Chen Feng absorbed from food was minimal. More often, he absorbed particles from the air to strengthen his body, a stage akin to the Grain Avoidance realm.

Nonetheless, Chen Feng could not ignore the delicacies Flora painstakingly prepared; after eating a beast leg, he leaned against a tree to rest with closed eyes.

Under the pitch-black night.

A group of special visitors arrived nearby. When she appeared, it was as if the entire sky lost its light.

The reason was simple: she was incredibly striking.

Even if she wore a robe-like garment outside, it could not hide her magnificent physique, far beyond the average female’s voluptuousness and height. Even those tall professionals seemed short compared to her.

Standing at three meters tall, she was a true female giant.

Yet even so, her allure was not diminished; a normal woman with such height might appear peculiar.

But not the presence that appeared before Chen Feng. Her height was not a flaw; instead, it made her look like a queen, gazing down upon the earth.

Beside the queen were dozens of male natives surrounding her like stars around the moon, guarding her. Surprisingly, all these men were at the Golden Tier.

Apart from that, the two guards flanking the queen were already at the Legendary Tier. They still bore no energy within, indicating they continued to focus on the path of hunting, growing stronger physically with each tier they ascended.

Underneath them, they rode mounts resembling horses but larger than human horses, with six legs, standing four meters tall and 4.25 meters long, comparable to Earth’s elephants.

Their necks were long, heads small with two antennae, covered in zebra-like stripes with no fur, strange as any other encountered creatures.

Chen Feng sat to the side and looked up at the woman before him.

He hadn’t expected the chieftain told of by the deer to be a female!

A party of over ten people, including the female chieftain, counted three Legendary-tier individuals. In the past, Chen Feng might have been a little wary, but now, he could wipe them out with just a wave!

Time changed everything.

The female chieftain clearly felt a bit unnerved upon seeing Chen Feng, but she restrained herself well, for as a successful Hunter, she sensed the powerful oppression emanating from Chen Feng. The stronger the being, the easier it was to feel the terror within that oppression!

It was a chasm she could not hope to bridge.

No wonder the deer described him as having an aura as terrifying as “It.”

“It’s an honor to meet you, passerby!”

The tall female chieftain dismounted the giant horse and then removed the veil from her face, speaking slowly: “I am Li, the chieftain here!”

A stunningly charming face was revealed; Li had always been confident in her beauty, but now Chen Feng’s calm gaze left her uneasy because it seemed his eyes were indifferent to everything about her.

“Li?”

Chen Feng used the Demon Horn to decipher the word uttered by the other party. He didn’t know what these characters meant here—of course, that wasn’t important; what was important was that the other party came, meaning he’d succeeded in the first step.

This meant he could conduct some negotiations with them. If possible, Chen Feng hoped to relocate all the survivors of the Sea God’s Residence here.

The deer also followed beside, its swelling face yet to fade, making its left cheek unusually large, comically.

The guards beside the chieftain had stern expressions, unlike the deer, appearing more like true warriors, hands placed on the weapons at their waists, ready to react at a moment’s notice.

In contrast, the eyes of the two legendary natives were fixed on the Inferior Demon and Flora.

The former still wore a smile, but the chilling glint in its eyes caused the legendary natives considerable distress. Even without action, they felt the Inferior Demon’s dreadfulness.

While Flora didn’t have the same malevolent aura as the Inferior Demon, her intimidating presence still hung over them like a mountain, making even the thought of taking action seem far-fetched.

Not to mention, there was Chen Feng beside them, a supreme being as somber as Purgatory.

Everyone initially thought they had Chen Feng’s party surrounded with a large force, but now, feeling the other’s aura made them feel as if they had fallen into a trap instead.

Feeling the atmosphere growing more oppressive, Chen Feng realized the buildup had reached its peak; continuing would not only lose its deterrent meaning but also have the opposite effect.

Chen Feng stood up and looked towards Li beside him: “Hello, I’ve come here due to some special reasons. I believe the deer has already told you, and there are some matters I’d like to discuss with you.”

Chen Feng disliked beating around the bush. The other party had yet to state their intentions when he continued: “I need a piece of land, one sufficient for tens of thousands to survive on. If possible, I hope you’ll provide care, and in return…”

“I will help your tribe grow stronger, providing wealth, food, and sharper weapons suited for hunting!”

“If that seems insufficient…”

Chen Feng deliberately paused, then stepped forward, ten steps, five steps, stopping three paces away from the female chieftain, lowering his voice: “I might be able to help you escape His nightmares!”
