Chapter 632 - 631: Conclusion
Chapter 632: Chapter 631: Conclusion
BOOOOOOM!
The Realm shattered as several Rank 5 angels struck it simultaneously, destroying the enormous weapon Void had been using to smash their bodies.
Countless universes within the Realm trembled before collapsing, and the fragments scattered throughout the Fifth Layer of the Abyss.
Void glanced at the destruction before turning toward the angels.
"Oh? You broke my toy."
His grin widened.
"Then I’ll just find another one."
Before he could move, five powerful auras descended upon the battlefield.
RUMBLE!
The expressions of the surrounding angels changed as five figures appeared in the distance. Each possessed an aura far above that of the Middle Rank 5 angels fighting Void.
They were High Rank 5 angels.
"Keep him occupied," one of them ordered.
The Middle Rank 5 angels exchanged glances before charging toward Void once more.
Meanwhile, the five newcomers spread out, occupying different positions around the battlefield. Golden light emerged from their bodies as countless Rules intertwined, forming an enormous formation.
Void glanced at them briefly before turning his attention to the angels rushing toward him.
"Oh, are you planning to seal me?"
He chuckled.
"Go ahead. I’m curious to see what you can do."
BOOM!
An angel appeared before him, his fist covered in divine Authority. Void raised his arm, blocking the punch with his forearm.
The impact shattered the surrounding space.
The angel’s eyes widened when Void didn’t move an inch.
Before he could react, Void grabbed his wrist and pulled him forward, smashing his forehead into the angel’s face.
CRACK!
The angel’s head exploded.
Void immediately turned, catching another angel’s incoming kick with his palm. He twisted his body, dragged the angel forward, and drove his knee into the opponent’s stomach.
BAM!
The angel’s body folded before Void grabbed his head and hurled him toward two approaching angels.
BOOOOOOM!
All three bodies exploded as they collided.
Golden light gathered moments later, restoring their bodies, but Void was already waiting.
He appeared above them, clasped his hands together, and brought them down.
CRASH!
Three newly restored bodies were smashed through space creating an enormous crack that extended across countless dimensions.
"Come on!" Void laughed. "You’re Rank 5 beings. Don’t tell me this is all you’ve got!"
An angel roared, and his Authority erupted.
A golden spear appeared in his hand as he thrust it toward Void’s chest. Void tilted his body, allowing the spear to pass beside him, then grabbed the angel’s arm.
He pulled the angel forward and struck his face with an elbow.
BANG!
The angel staggered backward, but Void didn’t give him time to recover. He stepped forward, drove his fist into the angel’s chest, and followed with a kick that sent him flying across the battlefield.
Before the angel could stop himself, Void appeared behind him.
"Where are you going?"
He grabbed the angel’s leg and swung him around, smashing him against another approaching opponent.
BOOM!
Both bodies were pulverized.
The other angels watched with increasingly grim expressions.
They were not weak. They were Middle Rank 5 beings who had fought countless battles throughout their existence.
Yet Void was treating them like punching bags.
And the worst part was that he seemed to be enjoying himself.
Farther away, the five High Rank 5 angels continued constructing the sealing formation.
Countless golden chains emerged from the formation, spreading across the Fifth Layer. Each chain carried Rules designed to restrain a Rank 5 being, while the Authorities of the five angels intertwined to strengthen the seal.
As the formation expanded, the surrounding space became increasingly restricted.
One of the angels looked toward Void.
"The formation is almost complete."
"Good. Once we activate it, we will seal him before he grows any stronger."
Suddenly, the space above them trembled.
A terrifying aura descended upon the battlefield.
BOOOOOOM!
The five angels raised their heads simultaneously.
A demon had appeared above the formation.
His presence alone caused the golden chains to tremble, and the Rules woven into the formation began to crack.
"Who are you?!" one of the angels demanded.
The demon didn’t answer.
He simply raised his hand and struck the formation.
CRAAAAACK!
The entire sealing formation shattered.
Golden chains broke apart and vanished as the five angels were forced backward by the impact.
Their expressions changed drastically.
A High Rank 5 demon!
Void, who was busy smashing another angel into the ground, glanced toward the disturbance.
Then he laughed.
"Hahaha! I knew you wouldn’t just sit around watching!"
The newly arrived demon looked toward Void before turning his attention to the angels.
"Trying to seal one of ours while we’re still here? How rude."
The five angels exchanged glances.
Their plan had failed.
Worse, with another High Rank 5 demon present, attempting to complete the formation would be dangerous.
Void casually threw the angel he was holding aside and stretched his arms.
"Well, that was interesting."
He looked at the remaining Middle Rank 5 angels.
"Shall we continue?"
The angels stared at him before one finally shook his head.
"This battle is over."
Void raised an eyebrow.
"Already?"
"You’ve made your point, Demon Ancestor."
The angel’s expression was ugly, but he understood that continuing the fight would accomplish nothing. Their bodies could be destroyed and restored, but the same could be said of their opponents. This was a battle of strength and prestige, not an attempt to achieve permanent death.
And they had suffered enough humiliation for one day.
The five High Rank 5 angels withdrew their remaining forces, while the other angels followed.
Across the battlefield, High Rank 5 demons also began leaving. Their confrontation had served its purpose.
However, the Rank 4 beings continued fighting. Sword Demon and the other slaves still had enemies to deal with, and the wider war had not ended.
Void watched the angels retreat before smiling.
"Come back whenever you want!"
A while later, Void turned toward the ongoing battlefield.
"Sword Demon. Nephem. Come here."
The two demons immediately appeared before him.
Sword Demon glanced at the retreating angels, while Nephem looked somewhat disappointed that the battle was ending.
"What’s the matter, Master?" Sword Demon asked.
"I have something to do."
Void’s expression became slightly more serious.
"Someone has been impersonating me. I intend to find out who it is."
Sword Demon’s eyes narrowed.
The matter had already reached Dreadborne, but now that Void himself was involved, the situation was different.
"I understand."
"There’s something else, too." Void glanced at his empty hand. "I need to recover the nine pieces of Nameless."
Nephem looked at him.
"So we’re going on a trip?"
Void grinned.
"Something like that."
He looked toward the endless expanse beyond the Abyss.
"First, we’ll find the fool pretending to be me. After that, we’ll retrieve my sword."
His crimson eyes gleamed.
"I wonder who is stupid enough to think they can wear my face without consequences."
Void laughed.
"Let’s go find out."
