Achieving Nothing, I Can Only Be the Pirate King

Chapter 1190 - 698: Selling Technology as an Add-on Service

Two hours later, Sage finally woke up from the bed. Without needing to do anything himself, he reached out, and a maid came over to assist him with dressing and washing up. At this stage, he no longer even needed to brush his teeth by himself.

The experienced maid cleaned his teeth in a more comfortable manner than if he had done it himself.

After finishing all this, Sage first went to eat breakfast and then headed to the Cultivation Room, where he looked at the disorderly arranged Poneglyphs inside.

"Perfect, seven exactly, just right for testing my current progress!"

Sage twisted his neck, let out a sinister laugh, slightly stretched his muscles and bones causing a light sound, and as soon as he took a step, his body turned into a shadow, instantly appearing in front of a Poneglyph.

Boom!

A loud noise accompanied by a visible ripple spread out, and the hard Poneglyph emitted a dull sound followed by a piercing friction noise, drawing a dark line across the ground, swiftly moving backward.

Sage launched a punch, his form flickering once more, and before the Poneglyph could crash into the back wall, Sage had already flashed behind it, striking the backside with a whip leg. With just this single kick, the air twisted, and under this distortion, the Poneglyph seemed to have bent like a cannonball, flying low.

"Ten times speed!"

But Sage was faster than that speed. Just as the Poneglyph flew out, his form flashed to another Poneglyph, similarly launching a punch to push it back, then flickering behind it, sending it low-flying towards the opposite rushing Poneglyph.

"Twenty times speed!"

Sage’s speed increased, and just like the previous two times, he repeated the process with the next Poneglyph, sending it toward the colliding Poneglyphs.

"Thirty times speed!"

"Forty times speed!"

"Fifty times speed!"

"Sixty times speed!"

The speed grew faster and faster, and the Poneglyphs in the Cultivation Room continued to fly. Due to the differences in force applied, each Poneglyph’s speed of being struck was exactly the same, forming a circular pattern and converging towards the center.

"Seventy times speed!!"

As Sage flashed to the last arranged Poneglyph, striking it away, the trajectories of the seven Poneglyphs appeared like black lines pulled out in a circle, all heading for a center collision.

At that moment, Sage’s figure flashed at the center position, raising his arms, grounding himself, "Come on!"

Bam!!

The seven Poneglyphs, carrying immense impact, seemed to be frozen instantly upon approaching.

The Poneglyphs, at that moment, fell into stagnation.

At this moment, Sage’s head, body, hands, elbows, knees, legs, and feet seemed to split apart, as each part struck a rapidly approaching Poneglyph’s front, sending them flying away.

As the Poneglyphs flew out, the struck parts also developed slight blood marks.

Sage unleashed a strike, his figure flashing once more, replicating the process with the same speed, knocking these Poneglyphs back, then returning to the center and striking them away again.

But each time, the force contained was heavier than before, and Sage’s whole body also began to emit white steam, starting to heal the injuries exposed due to striking the Poneglyphs.

Pure weight was nothing much, but with the impact force that Sage violently unleashed, combined with the speed and the collision’s impact, it became quite significant.

Add to that Sage’s continuous back-and-forth impact, employing special retained techniques, the inertia brought was even greater. Essentially, each strike compounded the previous attack.

That speed equals power is indeed not an empty phrase, and adding the weight itself, for others, let alone resisting, being able to withstand this move without severe injury would be quite good.

But that’s exactly the effect Sage wanted!

After defeating all formidable enemies at sea, with nothing left that could threaten him, the only thing he could do was challenge himself.

By using the Poneglyphs he threw with all his strength and then counterattacking with his body, it achieved an excellent cultivation effect!

Without using Haki, what increased purely was the strength of his Physique, along with the refinement of his skills.

Though Sage was confident that his skills were already at a level that none could surpass, simply reminiscing on past glory and stagnating would be a sign of decline.

One must become stronger!

At around eleven o’clock, Sage finally stopped cultivating. As the white steam dissipated with the disappearance of the injuries, without changing clothes, he headed straight to the large bathhouse, soaking into the pool and enjoying the maid’s service.

As the maid dressed him, Sage relaxed lying on the edge, reveling in shoulder and leg massages from the maid, with two maids snuggling by his side: one feeding him food, the other pouring wine for him.

About an hour later, Sage felt invigorated, having been dressed by the attendants as he exited the bathhouse and proceeded to the banquet hall.

It was precisely lunch time.

Marika had already prepared the meal, letting the chefs serve dish after dish, waiting for Sage’s presence.

"I haven’t had your cooking for a long time, right? Just finished fighting recently, then gave you some days off. So, you’ve rested well?"

Sage chuckled and waited as the maid arranged the dishes to feed him.

Lunch consisted of six hundred sixty-six courses, while breakfast was not Marika’s doing, just the routine breakfast by the chef team.

"Of course, I’ve rested well. As your chef, cooking for you is also a form of rest for me. After all, making food is the happiest thing in the world to me." Marika smiled.
