Chapter 109: Chapter 109: Mason Everett, You’re Done For

Sienna looked at the messages from Keith Sterling. The first said there was an emergency, but the next was a grinning emoji. It couldn’t be anything serious.

Sienna typed out a reply: [You’re laughing when there’s an emergency? What’s wrong?]

Keith Sterling replied instantly: [Wait for me, I’m on my way to Veridian Gardens! Five minutes!]

Sienna: "..."

Exactly five minutes later, Keith Sterling came rushing in. The moment he entered the living room, he asked, "Where’s my brother?"

Sienna was sitting on the sofa, hugging a soft pillow. "Your brother’s in the study dealing with some urgent work. Did you need him?"

Keith Sterling waved his hand. "If my brother’s busy, then it’s fine. I can just tell you."

Sienna pointed to the sofa across from her. "Have a seat."

A servant brought them tea.

Keith Sterling’s throat was parched. He picked up his cup, took a large gulp, and then looked at Sienna with a grin. "Sister-in-law, did you and my brother go out this afternoon?"

Sienna was surprised. "How did you know?"

Keith put on a mysterious air. "I also know you and my brother went to an amusement park. Am I right?"

Sienna found this amusing. "We did go to the amusement park, just to do something for your brother’s birthday. But it was too crowded, so we only stayed for a little while before leaving. How do you know all this?"

Keith scooted over to sit next to Sienna, holding out his phone for her to see. "Someone took a photo of you and my brother at the park and posted it online. And I have to say, it’s a really good picture!"

Sienna looked down at the phone.

From the angle, it was clearly a candid shot taken by a passerby. The sun was shining, and she was wearing a sun hat and a mask. Julian Forrester stood beside her, his head tilted down slightly as he listened to her speak, his profile perfectly captured by the camera.

The name Julian Forrester was already legendary. Combined with his striking good looks and powerful family background, he was extremely well-known, despite not being a celebrity.

The moment the photo hit the internet, it immediately drew widespread attention.

After all, the photo showed a top-tier magnate like Julian Forrester, a man of immense power, bowing his head slightly to listen to a woman speak. A small detail like that was just too swoon-worthy and tender. It was obvious their relationship was special.

People online were buzzing with excitement, rubbing their hands together as they started trying to dig up the identity of the woman in the photo. It eventually became a trending topic.

Keith was very pleased with the photo and had even saved it. "See, Sister-in-law? Isn’t it a great shot? So atmospheric! Even with the mask on, I recognized you in a heartbeat!"

Sienna: "..."

’Right now, all I want to know is whether anyone’s figured out who the woman in the photo is.’

Keith glanced at Sienna’s expression and said, "Normally, when paparazzi get a photo of my brother, they don’t dare post it without permission. But this was taken by a bystander and thrown right onto the internet, so now everyone is wildly speculating. And what’s more..."

Sienna shot him a look. "What?"

Keith cleared his throat, trying to suppress a laugh. "I was just checking online. A few sharp-eyed users have pointed out that the woman’s eyes and brow look a lot like Sienna Everett’s. But they also feel like you and my brother are from two completely different worlds, so they’re still trying to confirm."

Sienna: "..."

Keith’s expression turned serious as he continued, "Sister-in-law, I looked into it. The reason this one little photo blew up into a huge deal and started trending is that someone is fanning the flames behind the scenes."

Sienna’s brow furrowed. "What do you mean?"

Keith said, "It’s that piece of work, Mason Everett. He’s using this to amplify the photo’s impact and divert public attention. That way, everyone will be focused on digging into my brother’s relationship with the woman in the picture, or if he has other women, and they’ll stop paying attention to the Everett Family and Mason’s recent jail time."

After all, when you put the names Julian Forrester and Mason Everett side-by-side, it’s clear they’re not in the same league. Of course people are going to be more interested in the affairs of a top-tier magnate like Julian.

Mason Everett wouldn’t dare offend Julian Forrester openly. He only dared to secretly hire paid commenters to amplify the photo’s reach. He tried to be sneaky about it, but Keith still managed to trace it back to him.

As Sienna listened, her expression turned icy.

’Mason Everett dared to use Julian to divert attention.’

’Heh. She and Julian had grown up together. And Mason dared to mess with him?’

’Mason Everett, you’re finished.’

Keith Sterling’s heart clenched. ’Why do I suddenly get the feeling that Sierra is about to go on the warpath for her man?’

Keith quickly asked, "Sister-in-law, you said my brother is in the study with urgent work, so he definitely hasn’t seen any of this online. What’s your plan?"

Sienna’s eyes narrowed, her expression frigid. "Meet them head-on, of course."

Hearing this, Keith inwardly screamed, ’Holy shit!’ and immediately leaned closer. "Sister-in-law, if you need people or money, just say the word! I’ll provide them, no charge!"

Sienna pulled out her phone without looking up. "Money? I have my own."

Keith thought for a moment. Sienna had written songs for Orion Hawthorne before. Orion hadn’t taken a single cent of the profits, giving it all to Sienna as her songwriting fee. The album was a massive hit, and she must have earned at least a hundred million from it.

Besides, Keith always had a feeling that Sienna had other sources of income.

Then, Keith watched as Sienna took a brutally simple approach: she paid to have the trending topic about the photo removed.

Then, she threw money at promoting all the negative stories about Mason’s jail time and the Everett Family’s scandals, pushing them to the top of the trending lists for everyone online to see.

Keith blinked, dumbfounded. He checked online and saw people commenting:

[Wow, the trending topic about that photo suddenly vanished. Mr. Forrester must have paid to take it down. He’s probably protecting the woman’s privacy, right? Ugh, so rich, powerful, and handsome... I’m swooning to death!]

Keith: ...

’Oh, you’ve got it all backward,’ he thought. ’It was the woman who paid to take it down, to protect your precious Mr. Forrester.’

After dealing with the trending topics, Sienna lowered her gaze, lost in thought.

’Given the Everett Family’s current negative press, many of their partners have probably terminated their projects.’

’Right now, the Everett Family’s most important assets are their two main businesses: their fashion brand and their entertainment company.’

’Then I’ll start with the fashion brand.’

Sienna picked up her phone, walked to the side, and scrolled through her contacts until she found the name "Evan Shelby." She hit dial.

The call connected quickly. A clear, resonant male voice came through the receiver, though his tone was full of grievance.

"Kian, so you do remember you have my number! You and I founded G.Y. together, you know! And now you’ve heartlessly abandoned me, retiring just like that. Do you have any idea how lonely I am all by myself!"

Sienna, well-practiced, held the phone away from her ear. Only when the complaining subsided did she say, "I have something important to discuss with you."

Evan Shelby paused on the other end, his tone turning serious. "What is it?"

Sienna said, "It’s about the Valenti Fashion Association."

Nearby, Keith Sterling’s eyes widened in shock when he heard the name ’Valenti Fashion Association’.

Of course Keith had heard of it. The Valenti Fashion Association was the most prestigious, highest-level organization in the fashion world. Its members consisted of the most famous fashion brands from every country.

The president of the Valenti Fashion Association was none other than Kian, the chief designer of the globally renowned luxury brand, G.Y.

The vice president was a man named Evan Shelby.

Speaking of G.Y., the luxury brand had been co-founded by Kian and Evan Shelby.

Evan Shelby, who was of mixed heritage, was responsible for the business operations, while Kian was the chief designer in charge of all the designs.

Just recently, Kian, the co-founder and chief designer, had announced her retirement from G.Y.

Keith stared at Sienna in astonishment. ’Who is she talking to? Why did she bring up the Valenti Fashion Association?’

Sienna walked a little further away as she spoke into her phone, "There’s a member in the association—the fashion brand from the Everett Family of Celestria, correct?"

Evan: "Correct."

Sienna’s voice was cold. "Expel the Everett Family’s brand from the association."
