After a Flash Marriage With a Billionaire, My Brothers Are Begging for My Forgiveness!
Chapter 82: Wyatt Everett Defends Sienna Everett
Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Wyatt Everett Defends Sienna Everett
Sienna Everett smiled slightly and said coyly, "Take a guess."
Keith Sterling: "..."
’You can’t just leave a guy hanging like that!’
The patrons of this club were all either rich or well-connected. Some recognized Orion Hawthorne and Sienna Everett as celebrities but merely cast a few curious glances their way. They didn’t swarm them, despite their recent online fame.
The guns at this shooting range were highly realistic, feeling almost identical to the real thing.
Orion Hawthorne stood before the shooting lane, full of fighting spirit. "Sienna Everett, we each get three shots. Highest score wins."
Sienna Everett: "Sounds good."
Orion didn’t waste any time. He picked up a nearby gun and aimed at the target downrange. His posture was cool and precise—you could tell he had practiced.
After aiming, he decisively pulled the trigger, and with a BANG, the bullet was off.
The range used electronic scoring. The moment the bullet hit, the digital screen beside them quickly displayed the result: 10 points.
"BANG."
"BANG."
Two more shots rang out. The scorer displayed: 10 points, 10 points.
So, Orion Hawthorne fired three shots, and every single one was a perfect 10.
Keith Sterling gave a thumbs-up. "Holy crap, man, you’re not even human! A perfect score on every shot!"
Orion Hawthorne: "..."
’Great compliment. Don’t ever compliment me like that again.’
Orion knew Keith’s personality. He had always been a devil-may-care type, cheerful and unrestrained, so Orion calmly accepted his unconventional praise.
Orion looked at Sienna beside him, raising an eyebrow with a roguish grin. "How about that?"
Sienna nodded. "Very good."
’It really is impressive. Most people would be thrilled to hit a 10 just once.’
’Let alone three 10s in a row. That’s not something an ordinary person can do.’
Keith immediately cut in, shaking his fist. "Sierra, I can praise him, but you can’t! Don’t boost his ego and deflate your own! Go on! Take him down!"
Orion Hawthorne: "..."
’Why does it feel like the boss is so biased?’
Keith was just kidding around. After all, Orion had scored a 10 on every shot. No matter how good Sienna was, could she really beat that?
"Sierra, you just..."
Before Keith could finish his sentence, Sienna raised her gun. Without even seeming to aim, she fired three shots: "BANG," "BANG," "BANG."
The scorer displayed:
points.
points.
points.
Keith’s eyes went wide in an instant, his jaw dropping in disbelief.
’Holy shit, that was fast!’
’I hadn’t even finished my sentence, and she’d already fired three shots, without even aiming!’
’And she still hit a 10 every single time at that speed!’
"Sierra, that was way too fast! I don’t even shoot that fast in video games! I’m not exaggerating, you could rival a professional sniper!"
Keith’s mouth was like a machine gun, rattling off one compliment after another.
Orion’s eyes lit up. Sienna’s shooting skill... was truly extraordinary!
Hitting three consecutive 10s without aiming, and so quickly.
His own three shots had taken him at least thirty seconds.
But Sienna had fired and finished in less than a second!
"Sienna Everett, you..."
Orion searched for words for a long time but couldn’t finish his sentence, filled with immense admiration for Sienna’s shooting skills.
But this also meant that in this competition, he had lost to Sienna again.
’This is so damn frustrating.’
Sienna glanced at Orion, and with a sudden flash of inspiration, she raised her pistol again and fired "BANG," "BANG" at the target.
But the scorer displayed:
6.2 points.
5.5 points.
3.6 points.
...
Keith was completely dumbfounded. ’What’s going on?’
Orion was just as confused.
The next moment, however, Orion’s eyes widened in disbelief.
If you connected the dots from the shots Sienna had just put on the target, they actually formed the shape of a star!
Keith instantly sucked in a cold... noodle—no, a cold breath.
’Holy crap, is that even possible?’
"Sierra, are you shooting or are you drawing?!"
Keith was ready to bow down. He’d seen all sorts of food and entertainment in his life, and there wasn’t much of the world he hadn’t experienced, but this was the first time he had ever seen someone draw on a shooting target!
’And she drew a freaking star!’
’Does she have to be so ridiculously amazing?!’
Her shooting technique was simply beyond words!
’An ordinary person could never do that!’
’Wait a minute, shooting a star with a gun?’
’Isn’t that the "star" from Orion Hawthorne’s name?’
Keith was having none of it. He spun around and blocked Sienna’s path. "I’m angry now! The kind of angry that can’t be soothed! You can’t just draw a star for him! I want one too!"
Sienna: "...What do you want? Your name isn’t suitable."
Keith raised an eyebrow, a dashing and roguish smile on his face. But the words that came out were: "My lucky number is 2. Shoot a ’2’ for me!"
Sienna: "..."
’Well now, no wonder he’s such a goofball.’
Sienna deftly raised her pistol, fired off a few shots, and hit the adjacent target, perfectly forming the shape of a "2."
Keith was very satisfied. "Not bad, not bad, it’s ’two’ enough! I love it!"
Sienna: "..."
Keith gazed gleefully at his "2," unable to resist taking a picture with his phone. He had to post it on X to show off.
After posting, he turned his head and saw Orion still staring intently at the star on the target.
Just as Keith was about to call out to him, he suddenly caught sight of a few figures in the distance.
Keith paused, squinting in their direction before letting out a sneer.
’Tsk, speak of the devil.’
’To think I’d run into such off-putting people even here.’
Keith nudged Sienna with his elbow and whispered, "Hey, Boss Lady, look over there. Dustin Everett, Wyatt Everett, and Shannon Everett."
Hearing this, Sienna looked over, her expression blank.
In the distance, Wyatt Everett spotted Sienna at once and ran over, overjoyed.
"Sienna! Are you here to have fun too?"
"I’ve been calling you every day, but I’m still on your blocklist... Sienna, can you unblock me? I promise I won’t bother you!"
Wyatt knew Sienna had blocked him, but he couldn’t stop himself from calling her several times a day.
He held onto the hope that maybe, just maybe, Sienna would unblock him.
But it never happened.
Wyatt wasn’t discouraged or disappointed. He knew he had been too awful in the past, that he had broken his sister’s heart.
It was only right that his sister didn’t want to forgive him just yet.
Trailing behind, Dustin Everett saw how subservient Wyatt was being to Sienna and strongly disapproved. "Wyatt, why are you acting like this with that damn girl..."
"Shut up!" Before Dustin could finish, Wyatt cut him off with a cold voice, glaring at him fiercely.
"Dustin, Sienna Everett is my biological sister, my only sister. I won’t let you say a single bad word about her! If you do, don’t blame me for getting rough!"
Dustin’s brows furrowed. "Wyatt..."
Shannon Everett bit her lip resentfully. Wyatt used to always defend her like this, but now, all his protection was for that bitch, Sienna Everett.
After scolding him, Wyatt turned back to Sienna and quickly explained, "Sienna, I didn’t come out to have fun with them. Just seeing Shannon Everett annoys me now."
Behind him, Shannon bit her lip even harder.
Wyatt paid her no mind, his gaze on Sienna filled with protectiveness.
"Sienna, the only reason I came with these two was to keep an eye on them, to prevent Dustin and Shannon from ganging up on you and doing something bad!"
The aforementioned Dustin Everett: "..."
The aforementioned Shannon Everett: "..."
