After Achieving Invincibility, I Set Out to Destroy Sects
Chapter 95: Four Major Sects Gather
"Do you seriously think I would give in just because you killed those two trash?" Chu Tai remarked.
"I can kill them just as easily as you can. It is just that I didn’t expect you to be this strong."
"Oh, so you won’t give up?" Jiang Yun asked, somewhat amused.
"Of course not. I’ll just have to kill you personally, so don’t expect an easy death."
"Then what are you waiting for? Come and face your death."
"You won’t be so confident once I’m done with you."
Chu Tai took out a long sword with inscriptions carved into the blade. Muttering a small incantation, the inscriptions began to glow.
Once Chu Tai finished his incantation, the sword began to split into thousands of full-size swords that surrounded the area. Swords could be seen covering the sky and blocking out the sun.
The once wide-open stadium was now cluttered with floating swords that exuded powerful Immortal energy.
"Are you feeling scared now?" Chu Tai sneered. "It is too late to regret, so prepare to die."
Jiang Yun still stood blankly without giving any reaction.
"Fine, since you don’t have any last words, then just die!" Chu Tai yelled, sending his barrage of flying swords.
This attack was several times more powerful and dense, so Chu Tai believed it would be impossible for Jiang Yun to come out unscathed.
Thinking to himself how the situation was settled, Chu Tai began to turn away to deal with the other two women, but he stopped when all the swords around the stadium began to turn into nothingness.
"What did you do?" Chu Tai yelled, widening his eyes in shock. "How is it possible that all my swords disappeared? Are you showing me some kind of illusion?"
"All of this is real," Jiang Yun replied while yawning to keep himself awake. "Are you finished? I’m starting to get bored of your constant chatter and weak attacks."
"Do you think I’d believe your nonsense? Of course I’m not finished, as that was just the first attack. I won’t hold back anymore."
Raising the sword that still remained in his hand, Chu Tai began to enlarge it until it reached high into the sky. Energy began to condense around the blade, and an extra layer encased the sword.
Han Yuxi and Han Xiyue, who were watching from the side, collapsed under the pressure the sword was giving off.
"What is that?" Han Yuxi stuttered out, barely able to move her mouth.
"Hold on," Han Xiyue assured while experiencing the same herself. "Jiang Yun should be able to resolve the situation, so we just need to hold strong."
Jiang Yun, who saw the two girls collapsing, frowned in anger. Raising his arm, Jiang Yun flicked his finger, and a crack appeared on the giant sword reaching the sky.
With a loud crack, the sword shattered, leaving Chu Tai dropping his mouth in shock.
"Impossible," Chu Tai stammered, stepping back in fear. "Nobody should be strong enough to casually break my sword."
Having been fully angered, Jiang Yun was about to flick his finger again to kill Chu Tai, but he was interrupted by a shout from somewhere in the stadium.
"Hold on, friend," an elegant voice yelled from somewhere nearby. "You can’t just kill a sect master just because you want to. There is a system in place, unless you want to cause public outrage."
"Don’t you dare!" a scruffy voice yelled, coming from the same direction. "If you dare kill him, then you will have to face us."
"End things here and we will let you go," a feminine voice gently stated.
Not turning his head to acknowledge these people, Jiang Yun didn’t feel like stopping and flicked his finger. Chu Tai had his head explode in a mist of blood without anyone being able to stop it.
"How dare you!" the scruffy voice yelled. "I warned you, yet you dare do such a thing. Now you must suffer the consequences."
A large figure jumped out from the private spectator room. Landing a short distance from Jiang Yun, he had a face frowned in anger. The man looked very muscular, with a bald head, simple robes, and prayer beads in his hand.
"I am from the Central Buddhist sect!" the muscular man yelled, walking towards Jiang Yun. "My Buddhist name is the All Seer. I will give you the opportunity to leave your name before meeting the Honored One."
Standing in front of Jiang Yun, the All Seer stared down with a large grin that showed how eager he was to kill the man in front of him.
"I am Jiang Yun," Jiang Yun sighed, disliking this kind of person.
"Good!" the All Seer said with enthusiasm in his voice. "Then let us begin. You will be reformed once you see the Honored One."
Preparing his battle form, the All Seer began growing in size and gained a slight golden glow around his body. Once the All Seer finally stopped, he was five times his original size.
"Taste my fist!" the All Seer shouted, bringing down his fist covered in a golden aura.
In response, Jiang Yun raised a single finger to block the punch. The All Seer raised an eyebrow in confusion before frowning in anger.
"How dare you underestimate me!" the All Seer yelled, having his pride insulted. "You think you can stop me with just a finger? Your arrogance will only be met with death."
With heavy momentum, the All Seer created a vacuum around his fist from the sheer speed of his punch. He no longer held anything back after the insult he had just received.
With his full might, the All Seer wanted to eliminate Jiang Yun with this one punch. The moment the fist made contact, it stopped in place, completely motionless.
"What happened?" the All Seer muttered, trying to push his fist forward.
The fist didn’t budge, and it wouldn’t move even the slightest bit forward. Pushing with what he had, the All Seer began turning red from the exertion of trying to push past an immovable object.
Soon after his body turned completely red, the All Seer's arm began ripping open as blood gushed out. This led him to finally pull his arm back despite his reluctance.
"How could this be?" the All Seer questioned, checking his bleeding arm. "I am a Buddhist monk with an unbreakable body. How could someone like you possibly stop me with your own body?"
Jiang Yun remained silent, not wanting to answer.
"Do you need help?" an elegant looking man with long black hair asked, having descended from the stadium.
"We can help if you’d like," a woman with long purple hair offered, having followed the elegant man.
"Why would I ask for your help?" the All Seer refused. "As a proud Buddhist monk, I don’t need to owe either of you anything."
"Stop being stubborn, you old thing," the woman complained, stomping her foot on the floor. "Do you think you can defeat him all alone?"
"Why can’t I?" the All Seer replied, still standing tall, full of confidence.
"You saw him killing Chu Tai before all by himself," the elegant man reminded. "He isn’t as simple as you are thinking."
"We all know that Chu Tai is the strongest in the public eye," the All Seer rebutted, "but the truth is he is far weaker than us, since we hide our real power."
"Whatever do you mean?" the woman pretended, putting her hand over her mouth in surprise.
"Stop pretending!" the All Seer yelled, pointing his finger at the woman. "You are an old monster yourself. You have lived just as long as I have, and your wicked name as the sect leader of the Body Joy sect is infamous. Everyone knows your trickery, Du Lian."
"How dare you insult me!" Du Lian pointed back. "I’ve graciously offered my help, and yet you dare say such words?"
"I never asked for your help, so now just stand to the side."
"Calm down, you two," the elegant man interjected, stepping in between. "We all have a common enemy right now, so let’s not fight."
"Don’t get in my way, Ji Cang," the All Seer stated, standing firmly and refusing to back down.
"Shut up!" the elegant man shouted, releasing Immortal energy that eclipsed the two arguing. "Both of you calm down right now, or else, as the sect leader of the Silent Void sect, I will force you to calm down."
Taking a step back from the pressure, both the All Seer and Du Lian were forced to stop their bickering.
"Good," Ji Cang smiled, happy with the result. "Now that you two are listening, let’s get down to business."
Ji Cang turned his attention back to Jiang Yun.
"You’re quite strong, aren’t you? Unfortunately, we can’t let you go, since you destroyed the foundation of one of the four major sects. If we let you go today, our reputation will be tarnished and nobody will respect us anymore."
Slowly walking forward while increasing his pressure, Ji Cang wanted to make Jiang Yun feel fear for what he had done.
"Now, do you want to surrender peacefully, or face the three of us to the death?"
"I’ll just kill all three of you," Jiang Yun replied, casually walking forward as if the pressure didn’t exist.
