Chapter 142 - 139: Wolf Day Sees Her Clearly

Wolf Day pushed Hou Ting away and threw the Beast Belt to the ground. Stubbornly, he dragged his injured body, staggering over to a corner to sit down.

She turned back to Xuan Jin and said, "Xuan Jin, we can pick out a few Beast Slaves, too!"

Xuan Jin: "..." His killing intent intensified.

The chilling aura made Lu Ming sneeze several times before he finally said, "Just say something! If you’re not happy about it, just say so!"

Nan Zishi looked back. "What are you two talking about?"

Xuan Jin clamped a hand over Lu Ming’s mouth to shut him up. He said to Nan Zishi, "It’s nothing."

"Oh."

Nan Zishi turned back around, unable to hold back a couple of secret giggles.

The mining area had plenty of open land. Bao Fei had this batch of Sin Beasts stand in formation in a clearing.

All eighteen females from the mining area had come.

Female Wolf Yu glanced around, searching for a male wearing a Wolf Beast Skin Belt.

Nan Zishi was a newly joined female, and quite a few of the other females were sizing up the newcomer.

"That must be the new female. She looks quite pretty. I wonder what crime she committed."

A Falcon female said, "For a female to end up here, it definitely wasn’t for some petty crime."

"What kind of crime? It couldn’t be for killing another female, could it?"

"Maybe it’s even worse. Killing two females? Wiping out a whole family?"

"Eek, so vicious."

A Grizzly Bear female said, "Are you all still gossiping about her? Shouldn’t you be looking at the Beastmen up front? This is this batch of available males. According to the usual rules, each female can only choose one male."

"Are you guys going to pick a Beast Husband?"

The gray wolf, Wolong, glanced at Wolf Day at the front before picking a conspicuous spot to stand.

A small, red head flashed through a gap in the crowd.

’No, it’s not her.’

Then, a smiling, fluffy head of black hair also flashed past.

He got a clear look at her.

She was wearing a garment of black Snake Shedding, and her hair, as thick as a crow’s feathers, cascaded down. Her sparkling black eyes were exceptionally bright.

When the corners of her lips curved into a smile, her whole face seemed to glow.

Her skin was flawless and porcelain-white. She was very thin, which didn’t conform to the Beast World’s general aesthetic of plumper figures being more beautiful.

But... one glance was enough to see that she was very beautiful.

Wolf Day was completely baffled.
