Chapter 217: Main Story Finale

He was no longer the phantom-like figure from before.

Moonlight spilled across the land. A closer look revealed it was his beautiful, long hair. He gave a gentle blink of his moon-like eyes, a breathtakingly beautiful sight.

The powerful, resurrected Beast God of the Beast World took Nan Zishi’s hand and stepped forward.

Nan Zishi looked up at Lu Yu in astonishment.

It wasn’t just her. Hu Bai, Chi Xiao, Lanxing, Xuan Jin, Wolf Day, and Wolf Ye all stared in shock at the resurrected Beast God.

On the Eastern Coast, all the beastmen nearby gazed at their god with a mixture of anticipation and nervousness.

Lu Ming clenched his fists, tears streaming uncontrollably down his face.

Father!

‘You irresponsible, bad father!!!!!!’

At that moment, the System Main God, “Xiang Ze,” finally seemed to be afraid.

It began to struggle violently.

‘As long as I can break free from Xiang Ze’s body, I can go back! As long as I go back, I definitely won’t die!!!’

The power in Long Yi’s hands tightened, binding it relentlessly!

“It’s useless. If you had chosen the body of any other beastman, I might have had some trouble. But you chose a Priest from the Priest Hall… Didn’t you know that every Priest in the Beast World has a Priest Curse placed upon them the moment they are ordained?”

Li Yun’s existence as a bug had weakened its power.

Nan Zishi’s virus and junk data had caused it to lag and slow down.

The Beast World’s Arrays and Magic had bound it completely within Xiang Ze’s body.

And in Nan Zishi’s hands was the Light Saber, formed from the Boundary Stone and the power of the seven chosen ones of the Beast World.

One was the System Main God; the other was the Beast God of the Beast World.

Others might not be able to kill it.

But the Beast God certainly could.

Lu Yu glanced back.

His moon-like hair cascaded down, and his eyes seemed to have a captivating allure.

“Sui Sui.” The gentle god softly caressed her face.

At that exact moment, within her storage space, the character “” became carved onto the blank piece of jade her parents had told her to bring. The jade then flew into Lu Yu’s hands.

Nan Zishi’s head snapped up. “I remember now. Lu Yu, you’re my Beast Husband. You’re… Lu Ming’s father?”

Lu Yu’s eyes crinkled into a smile.

“Yes.”

Lu Yu said, “Sui Sui, you are the moon, and the seven of us are your stars.”

Long Yi’s grip tightened.

All the beastmen of the Beast World worshiped and admired the bright and mighty Beast God.

But no one knew that the Beast God, Lu Yu, was actually a cunning schemer.

When he played his games, he would even factor in his own life.

But, Nan Zishi…

Long Yi’s heart twisted with a sharp pain.

He glared at Lu Yu.

‘Fine. You’ve actually thrown yourself into this scheme.’

‘Do you really not want to be the Beast God anymore? You want to join a normal Beast Family?!!’

The System Main God shrieked, “What are you doing!!! AHHH!!! Are you insane?!!!”

Lu Yu took Nan Zishi’s hands in his and slowly led her before the System Main God.

Lu Yu patiently and gently explained, “The Boundary Stone possesses the power of the Beast World. The power of the seven of us has already activated it. Now, use this sword to pierce him. Whether it’s a system or a person, its soul will be obliterated.”

The System Main God was going insane! It was truly terrified!!!

It screamed in terror, “Beast God!! Spare me!! I promise I’ll never attack the Beast World again, okay! I promise I’ll never invade the Beast World again!! I’m begging you, spare me!!! I can make a blood oath!! I can make a divine blood oath!!!”

Li Yun held her breath, tense.

The time for revenge had come.

Holding the World Stone Sword, Nan Zishi walked toward the System Main God, step by step.

“You piece of shit system.”

“When you kidnapped those girls, did you ever ask them? Did you ever show them any respect?”

“Forcing girls to complete missions, erasing them if they failed, and making them have children one after another like they were nesting dolls.”

“So many girls kidnapped by you just to give birth. All so you could rapidly plunder the Beast World’s fortune. You even gave the girls Fertility Pills, making them bear disabled children!!”

“You have no conscience! Your actions are an offense against nature!!!”

This was the first time Long Yi had ever seen Nan Zishi so furious.

He subconsciously reined in his own temper.

The System Main God still couldn’t tell if the person before it was Li Yun or Nan Zishi. It pleaded in fear, “Li Yun, I was wrong, I was wrong, just let me go, please?! I’m begging you. If you spare me, I’ll use my Divine Power to cure your father’s cancer!!”

Seeing the Main God System that had bullied so many girls kneeling and begging before them, Nan Zishi only felt a sense of sorrowful irony.

“Qi Yingmei, are you watching? I’m getting revenge for you!”

“To the hosts of systems 002, 003, 004, and 005, to all the girls, are you watching? I’m getting revenge for all of you!!!”

“Girls from Earth are no cowards!!”

With that, Nan Zishi unhesitatingly thrust the World Stone Sword in her hand toward the System Main God!

In an instant, the world turned black and white.

The System Main God’s true form dissolved into a mass of 0s and 1s, a substance made of black and white.

The substance was scattered, only to desperately try to reform itself.

The World Stone Sword scattered it once more.

Again, it desperately tried to reform.

Scattering, reforming, scattering, reforming…

This continued until all the substance had turned to dust.

The Boundary Stone devoured all of the System Main God’s power, and the world returned to color.

…

Far away in the universe, a massive space station built by the System Main God instantly crumbled to pieces.

Inside, the lesser systems carrying out kidnapping missions fled chaotically in all directions.

Mechanical voices transmitted to one another, “What’s happening?”

“It’s collapsing!! It’s collapsing!!!”

“Where’s the Main God?! Main God, save the space station!!!”

“The Main God is dead!”

Many of the lesser systems shrieked, BEEP BEEP BEEP, “The Main God is dead!”

…

‘We won.’

“Is it dead?” Nan Zishi looked up and asked Lu Yu.

Lu Yu gave her a bright smile. “Yes, it’s dead. System 006 is dead too.”

“That’s good.” Nan Zishi heaved a long sigh of relief.

‘Finally, it’s over.’

Standing to the side with Uncle Xiang, Li Yun stretched out her hand and looked at it, feeling a sense of profound relief.

With the Main God System dead, Long Yi released his grip on Xiang Ze.

Xiang Ze coughed violently. It felt as if his heart had been squeezed tightly for a long time.

‘Fuck, it hurts so much! I think I’m going to die!’

“Lord High Priest…” he called out weakly. “Save me…”

Long Yi declared, “Priest Xiang Ze, for abusing your power to inflict cruel punishments in the mining area, and for colluding with an Outer Heaven Demon for his own selfish desires, I pronounce a sentence of death!”

“High Priest… High Priest… Spare me, spare me!!” Ying Li dragged Xiang Ze away.

…

Everything had finally come to an end.

Nan Zishi still felt as if she were in a daze.

‘…So Long Yi wasn’t a bad beastman after all?’

‘Were the things I said to him before too harsh?’

Lu Yu looked down at her and smiled.

“Sui Sui, Long Yi and I were responsible for luring the Main God System here. But only you could truly destroy the Main God.

Because you are the moon, and only you can gather the seven stars of the Beast World.

Only when all seven of us stars are gathered can the Boundary Stone’s power be fully unleashed.”

“So, in this entire plan, you were the most important part.”

As she listened to Lu Yu’s voice, her memories of him gradually began to awaken.

‘The Beast God is also my Beast Husband?’

‘In the grand scheme of the Beast World, my story with Lu Yu is… quite the fantasy epic.’

She gave a light cough to get his attention and said, “Ah Yu, can I ask you for a favor?”

“What is it?” His tone was gentle, as if he would agree to anything she asked.

Nan Zishi said, “Send Li Yun home.”
