Chapter 224: I Don't Want to Always Be at the Bottom

One day later, Chi Xiao, the High Mountain Fire Red Eagle, brought his Little Female Master back to the seashore.

Despite his size, Chi Xiao clung to Nan Zishi like a newlywed wife.

Xuan Jin glared at him.

‘Such a huge male, plastered all over Nan Zishi. So clingy. It’s disgusting.’

He cut Chi Xiao off, coiling his tail around the little female and pulling her over. He took a sniff.

‘His little female was supposed to be fragrant, but now she reeked of that foul bird!’

“Xuan Jin!” Chi Xiao roared. “You’re stealing her again!”

Xuan Jin simply ignored him, pulling Nan Zishi aside. He wrapped his tail completely around her until his scent covered Chi Xiao’s. Then, he kissed her fiercely several times, making sure the taste in her mouth was his and his alone before finally letting her go.

Then, he began to wheedle, a tactic he was growing accustomed to.

“Little female, I behaved. You promised you’d give me a reward.”

The Xuan Snake humbled himself, nuzzling her clingily. “Choose me tonight, okay?”

Nan Zishi was completely overwhelmed.

She walked stiffly over to Hu Bai, who was preparing breakfast.

Nan Zishi offered to help, but Hu Bai just smiled gently and bent down to kiss her forehead.

“Chi Xiao can be reckless. Did he hurt you?” Hu Bai asked in a low voice.

Nan Zishi shook her head.

‘Chi Xiao was big and strong, but surprisingly gentle. A real gentle giant.’

‘He followed her commands the whole time, listening to her even as sweat beaded on his forehead from the effort of holding back.’

‘It was like he was afraid of breaking her.’

‘It’s just… Chi Xiao’s stamina was also a bit… ridiculous.’

The seven males surrounded her on all sides.

When Nan Zishi tried to pull away, he simply cradled the back of her neck, gripped her waist, and kissed her fiercely.

“Are you a dog or something?”

“What’s a dog? I’m a snake.”

Xuan Jin let go of her and looked into her eyes. “Were you thinking about Wolf Day and Wolf Night again? You can’t!”

He pulled her into a tight embrace. “Tonight, you’re mine. You’re not allowed to think about any other male.”

Only then did Nan Zishi notice that he was wearing different clothes.

It was a translucent set of Jue Sha Clothes in a dark, Xuan-black color that suited him perfectly, yet it was so sheer that his fine physique was on full display.

‘This scene feels so familiar.’

Nan Zishi felt her head grow hot.

Xuan Jin guided her hand to his abs, holding her close as he spoke in a low, aggrieved tone:

“Little female, I’m not like the others…”

“How are you different?” Nan Zishi noticed her own voice had changed, becoming slightly husky.

A jolt went through Xuan Jin at the sound of her voice.

He kissed the corner of her lips again and said softly, “I’m a Snake Beastman. I have to hibernate in the winter. I don’t get to spend as much time with you as the others do.”

“I’m with you every day now, and you still don’t like me. When I’m hibernating, they’ll all be fighting for your affection for that entire time, but I won’t be able to compete.”

“Won’t you dislike me even more then?”

“I don’t want to always be last…”

“I really, really like you.”

The Xuan Snake kissed her earlobe, his kisses gradually turning into pleading little nips.

“Out of all the males, I’m the only one who liked you from the moment I first saw you. Little female, please save a special place for me in your heart, won’t you?”

The “snake-dog” before her was already kissing his way down her collarbone.

Her clothes were pushed askew, her lips were kissed into glistening cherries, and her cheeks grew redder by the second.

“You’re already special to me,” she said.

‘Xuan Jin really was different. At first, she thought she could never like him.’

‘But seeing him change for her, watching him fight for her bit by bit, feeling how unwaveringly he had chosen her…’

“I don’t dislike you, Xuan Jin.” Nan Zishi let him guide her to the bed. The rims of his eyes were red as his forked tongue flickered across her collarbone.

All she could think about was Xuan Jin’s pitiful act, the fact that he had to hibernate, and how he didn’t have as much time to spend with her as the others.

She completely forgot that throughout this entire journey, Xuan Jin had actually spent the most time with her.

Her heart ached for him. “I promise. I’ll spend more time with you from now on.”

Xuan Jin’s breathing immediately grew heavy.

“I’ll please you. I’ll please you so well. I can please you better than any of them!”

He carefully kissed her lips again and placed the tip of his long snake tail in her hand.

Nan Zishi gently stroked the tip of his tail, and Xuan Jin’s panting grew heavier.

“Can I… use my beast form? Please. Just this once. I swear, just this once.”

He clung to her, wheedling and kissing her so fervently she couldn’t think.

Nan Zishi’s slender arms wrapped around him in a gentle hug.
