"Huh?" Luke blinked in surprise.

An unexpected smile spread across his face.

"A mage?"

For a long time, almost every powerful summon he had received had been a knight.

To the point where Luke had started believing the System simply refused to give him any other class anymore, except earlier, bloodline warriors.

Yet now after so many summons. He had finally obtained one.

An Arcane Core Mage.

Which immediately rose his excitement to another level.

Because unlike knights. Mages specialized in overwhelming area destruction.

And an Arcane Core Mage. Stood at the very same realm as a Platinum Knight.

Just imagining that level of magical firepower made Luke’s heart race.

Without another moment of hesitation.

He raised his hand.

"Summon."

[Summoning... Theia Yvette: Arcane Core Mage...]

"Theia." Luke quietly repeated the name.

A smile appeared on his face. "That’s a beautiful name."

Unlike previous summons. This one wasn’t completed instantly.

One minute passed.

Then two.

Three. Four. Even after five minutes. The summoning process was still ongoing.

"Hm?" Upon this, Luke raised an eyebrow.

"So Platinum-rank summons really do take longer."

Just as he finished speaking—

WHOOOOOM!

A purple magic circle suddenly unfolded beneath his feet.

Intricate runes rotated one after another, while ancient arcane symbols lit up across its surface.

The surrounding Aether rapidly gathered toward its center.

A silhouette slowly emerged from the dazzling light.

WHOOSSH!

A violent burst of magical energy exploded outward.

Which results, the surrounding wind was swept away in every direction.

Luke’s clothes fluttered wildly.

Moments later. The magic circle gradually faded.

Standing where it had been.

Was a woman.

She wore an elegant robe of deep violet embroidered with intricate silver runes that shimmered faintly under the sun-light.

Her long, lustrous purple hair flowed gently behind her with the lingering wind.

Her dark emerald eyes calmly observed Luke.

They were neither cold nor warm.

Luke unconsciously held his breath.

’She’s beautiful.’

’No...’

Beautiful wasn’t enough to describe her.

She possessed an elegant, almost ethereal charm that made her seem untouchable.

The kind of woman people would instinctively mistake for a goddess or an archmage.

Even Luke had to admit. Her appearance surpassed almost every woman he had met.

Including...

Aurielle.

That thought made him inwardly cough.

’I’m definitely not saying that out loud.’

If Aurielle ever learned he had compared another woman’s appearance to hers. Luke was fairly certain.

His clones would have a very difficult future.

[Kekeke.] The System sounded unusually pleased.

[Luke, once a being reaches C-Rank and above. B-Rank, A-Rank, S-Rank, and beyond.]

[Their bodies undergo a true metamorphosis with every major realm.]

[Imperfections are gradually removed.]

[By the higher realms. Their bodies naturally become flawless.]

"No wonder." Luke finally understood.

It wasn’t simply that Theia was beautiful.

Her very existence had been refined through transformations.

After calming his thoughts. Luke put on a welcoming smile.

And just as he was about to greet her—

She spoke first.

"Greetings, my liege." Her voice was composed and elegant.

Unlike every summon he had met before.

There was respect. But not overwhelming reverence.

She hadn’t called him Master.

Only...

Liege.

Luke’s smile paused for the briefest moment.

’System, what’s going on?’ A trace of caution appeared in his heart.

The System had always insisted that every summon would possess loyalty.

If that wasn’t true. A B-Rank summon becoming hostile would be catastrophic.

The System calmly replied.

[Luke, She is completely loyal.]

Luke quietly listened.

[However. She is a higher-ranked being.]

[Compared to your previous summons. She possesses far greater self-awareness from the moment she is summoned.]

[Loyalty and individuality are not mutually exclusive.]

Luke slowly relaxed.

"I see." That explanation made perfect sense.

If every high-ranking summon behaved like an emotionless puppet. That would have been stranger.

’As long as her loyalty remained unquestionable. Her personality didn’t matter.’

So Luke smiled warmly once more.

"Welcome to Blackstone."

"Theia."

At this Theia gave a graceful nod. "It is my honor to serve, my liege."

Without saying anything further. Luke shifted his attention toward the translucent screen that had already appeared before him.

It was time to see the status of his first B-Rank summon.

While Luke focused on the status panel before him. Theia remained completely silent.

She made no attempt to interrupt him. Nor did she ask where she was.

Her dark emerald eyes quietly wandered across the surroundings, calmly observing everything within sight.

The distant hills.

The rich flow of mana in the air.

The towering trees.

The Mana Well.

Even the damaged area left behind by the earlier explosion.

Nothing escaped her notice.

[Summon: Theia Yvette (B-rank)]

[Origin Skill - S-rank (Dream Well.)]

📜 THE LORE

The Dream Well is the mind of a sleeping queen.

In a forgotten age, there was a queen who could dream reality into existence. She created palaces, armies, and entire kingdoms from her dreams. Her imagination was boundless—she could conjure anything she envisioned with a single thought.

But she grew tired of her power. She had seen empires rise and fall at her whim. She had created worlds, only to watch them crumble. She had become bored with the world she had shaped. So she created the Dream Well and poured her mind into it.

Now she sleeps, her dreams drifting through the well, waiting for someone to draw from them. Some say she is not truly asleep—that she is waiting for the right moment to wake. Others say she is dreaming still, creating worlds within her own mind, worlds that no one will ever see.

Those who touch the Dream Well are touching the mind of a sleeping god-queen. They draw from her imagination, her power, her endless dreams. But they must be careful—she may wake.

---

Gulp.

Luke unconsciously swallowed.

His eyes slowly lifted from the status panel toward Theia.

She was still standing quietly in the distance.

Her gaze rested upon Blackstone City.

A trace of curiosity flickered across her emerald eyes, as though she had already become absorbed in her own thoughts.

She looked perfectly calm. Perfectly harmless.

Yet after reading her status. Luke couldn’t look at her the same way anymore.

’System! why the heck did you summon Pandora-type existences?’ He couldn’t help cursing inwardly.

The System answered as casually as ever.

[I already told you.]

[The rewards themselves aren’t decided by me.]

Its carefree tone made it sound as though Theia wasn’t terrifying in the slightest.

Luke’s eyelid twitched.

"Easy for you to say." He muttered under his breath.

After all, if something went wrong. The System certainly wasn’t the one who would have to deal with an Arcane Core Mage.

Deciding there was no point arguing anymore. Luke simply shook his head.

"Whatever." He lowered his gaze once again.

This time his attention shifted toward the section he was most interested in.

Origin Abilities.

---

[🧠 PASSIVE ABILITY]

Dream Sight: Sees the dreams of all beings within 100 kilometers. Knows their desires, fears, and secrets

---

"..."

Luke stared at the description for several long seconds.

Then he slowly narrowed his eyes.

"That’s completely broken." A passive ability like this was almost impossible to defend against.

As long as someone remained within a hundred kilometers. Theia could potentially uncover their true intentions.

Whether they wished to betray him, Assassinate him Or secretly support him.
