Chapter 262: One Handsome Man, One Huge Misunderstanding

After all, huge magic cannons along with hundreds of attacks were pointing downward and even at the same level.

So if someone was really foolish enough to ignore those warnings, then those attacks would teach them all the lessons.

"Didn’t you know? that the Empyrean Academy representative is coming here today."

Luke listened to people’s gossip, while staying obediently in the line.

He also noticed that there was another line present. Even though it was completely empty, no one was daring to enter there.

Soon, he came to understand the reason.

Two young human girls, each wearing the uniform of Horizon Academy, hastily moved toward the other lines.

"Let’s go fast, or else we’ll be late for Professor Isaria’s class." one girl with black hair said hurriedly, at which the other girl with black hair nodded.

’Isaria? the daughter of Jasper?’ Hearing the name, Luke immediately remembered the invitation he had got from Jasper.

And also his words, "She is a professor in Horizon Academy and you could take her help."

Remembering those words, he separated from the normal people’s line and moved toward the two students.

Seeing this, a few people muttered with mockery, while others voice’s held pity.

"Another fool thinking that he is someone special."

They commented, while recalling the same scene, where a few dashing young men or women tried to impress the students of Horizon Academy, only to have their hopes shattered the next moment.

"Seems like he didn’t know..." One young woman said with pity.

"That those students are high class, nobles, or specials."

Which was one reason that they didn’t get interested in some random party.

"Still it’s a pity for his looks." She muttered with a yearning voice, because Luke was too handsome.

Luke with his enhanced senses heard every word, which twitched his mouth.

But he completely ignored them and kept moving toward the two female students.

Seeing someone coming, they became annoyed. After all, it was not the first time that someone was trying to impress them.

Though, when they turned to look at the person, they became stunned.

"So handsome." And unconsciously, those words escaped their mouths.

Noticing their stunned expression, Luke inwardly nodded with satisfaction. ’Having good looks always helps.’

Without slowing he reached them and presented his invitation card.

"Sorry, young ladies, to disturb you."

"But I got this invitation, and don’t know where to find this person." He pointed toward his hand, where Isaria’s name was clearly printed.

The girls nodded subconsciously, still not removing their gazes from him.

’Seems like their maiden hearts are weak.’ Luke commented inwardly, before trying again.

"Would the two beautiful maidens be kind enough to guide me?" Luke asked, offering them a gentle smile that made his already handsome face appear even more captivating.

’A prince!!’ Seeing this, both of their hearts skipped a beat.

"Sure!!" They said happily, before reading the name on the invitation card.

"Professor Isaria..." But when they finally read the name, their eyes became wide.

Then both of them looked toward Luke and down again toward the invitation card.

’Professor never told us that she has such a handsome boyfriend.’ And a misunderstanding was created at this moment.

"Ok, please come with us." Each of them held Luke’s each hand, before entering under the stunned gazes of the crowd and guards.

"The hell?"

"He really impressed them. And not a single one, but both of them!"

The crowd again erupted with gossip, clearly thinking that Luke was a womanizer.

Which was kinda true. Sinc he already got this title.

After staying for a few minutes on the platform, they finally reached the island.

"This is our Horizon Academy."

"The best academy in the human kingdom." They praised and told many things to Luke.

To that, He listened to their words with one ear and let them out with the other.

Because all of their talk was about Professor Isaria.

Like what she usually wears, what she actually likes to eat, and with whom she meets.

Hearing all these, he became speechless.

’Just how much free time do these girls have?’

Luke observed his surroundings for a moment, and only one word came to his mind.

"Fabulous."

"Right?" Both girls asked almost simultaneously, their eyes lighting up after seeing his stunned expression.

Even though Luke had seen the Holy Church’s main headquarters before, that place carried a distinctly religious atmosphere.

This place, however, felt almost like a city from the future.

Students flew across the floating island on small magical artifacts of various shapes and designs. Some rode on sleek metallic boards, while others sat on floating discs or strange mechanical devices that emitted faint streams of Aether.

While magical lights illuminated the pathways.

Mechanical constructs could also be seen moving throughout the academy.

Some resembled humanoid golems, while others had completely unfamiliar designs, carrying books, transporting supplies, or assisting students with their daily tasks.

"Over there." one of them pointed toward a huge palace-like building, where *Studies of Ancient Arts* was inscribed upon the wall.

"Professor Isaria is over there." So without wasting any more time, both of them dragged Luke to their classroom.

Which was their destination as well.

"You stay here." After reaching just outside the classroom, they said this to Luke.

Seeing Luke nodded, each of them entered the large classroom.

Inside, more than 100 students, a mix of male and female around the same age as them, were seated and waiting for the class to start.

While at the front, Isaria was talking with another professor.

The professor Estelle Sunborn, current princess of Sunborn Kingdom.

Both of their ages were around 25 and they were close friends.

The moment they entered inside, both of their gazes turned toward them.

"Gena and Palia, why are each of you late?" Isaria asked calmly, clearly her voice didn’t carry anger.

After all, she had a gentle personality toward her students.

Estelle also stopped talking and waited for them to finish.

Gena and Palia exchanged glances, before a smile appeared on their lips.

Because when they were being late, they didn’t help Luke not only out of goodwill.

But because they thought to use him to escape punishment.

Even though Professor Isaria was gentle, rules were rules.

Therefore they announced the reason for their lateness.

"Professor Isaria, we’re sorry! We were showing your boyfriend around, so we arrived late." Gena said innocently, but the words stunned the whole class.

Silence.

The entire classroom froze.
