After Marrying 5 Yandere Wives, I Obtained a 10,000x Return System

Chapter 285: The Forbidden Titan the Cosmos Tried to Erase

"Fourth Titan is finally here!" Luke exclaimed excitedly.

After waiting for so long, the moment had finally arrived.

He didn’t waste even a second before choosing to summon it.

"Let’s see what I’ll get." With that, Luke pressed the summon button.

This time, there was no gacha-like result.

Instead, the System began pre-loading information about the Titan.

[Loading...]

It was actually a useful feature the System had introduced since his previous summonings, allowing him to receive the Titan’s information immediately rather than having to wait for everything to appear after titan summoned.

Luke watched the loading window with growing anticipation.

Then—

DING!

A long information window unfolded before him, filling his vision with the complete description of the Crypt Titan.

[Description]

Long before civilizations began recording history, the Firstborn Titans started appearing across the Cosmos.

They were extraordinary beings, born with potential that ordinary life could never hope to comprehend. As they matured, their powers developed into Paths, and their understanding of those Paths eventually allowed them to stand beyond the limitations imposed upon lesser beings.

Then Sevaroth was born.

Something went wrong.

The Cosmos sensed it immediately, yet even it could not determine what had happened. There was no trace of the interference afterward. No law could identify its source, and no surviving consciousness remembered witnessing anything unusual.

Whatever had entered the process of Sevaroth’s birth had vanished without leaving an explanation.

Only the result remained.

The newborn existence was something the Cosmos considered dangerous.

It could not allow that being to grow freely.

So the Cosmos created another Titan and used it as a vessel. The original existence was sealed inside, buried beneath countless layers of restrictions that could not be broken from within or outside.

Then history itself was altered.

Records were rewritten. Memories disappeared. Ancient accounts changed without anyone noticing. Even the traces that could have revealed that another existence had once been there were erased.

Eventually, the Cosmos left behind a single version of the truth.

On that day, the **Crypt Titan** was born.

And that was all anyone remembered.

Sevaroth, however, knew better.

His body had never truly been meant to be his own. It was a prison constructed around something the Cosmos refused to let exist freely. His entire existence had been reduced to containing what lay within him.

So he watched his siblings grow.

He saw them awaken their abilities, discover their Paths, and gradually reach heights that had once seemed impossible. They continued advancing while Sevaroth remained trapped inside the same existence that had been designed for him.

At first, he simply observed.

Eventually, he began to understand what had been done to him.

The Cosmos had not merely weakened him.

It had decided his purpose before he had even opened his eyes.

And that realization made him laugh.

Not because his situation was amusing, but because the solution the Cosmos had chosen was almost absurd.

It had tried to imprison something it feared by creating a vessel around it.

What it had failed to realize was that the vessel could learn.

Sevaroth spent ages studying his own imprisonment.

He examined the restrictions surrounding his existence and slowly understood the principles behind them. He learned how the seals interacted, how power could be restricted, how an existence could be isolated, and how even space itself could be closed off through sealing techniques.

He began reproducing those methods.

What had originally been used against him became the subject of his obsession.

Over an incomprehensible span of time, Sevaroth learned every form of sealing he could discover. He mastered containment, suppression, binding, and the methods required to imprison energy, consciousness, space, and even aspects of existence itself.

Eventually, he reached the extreme of the Path.

And the Cosmos acknowledged him.

He received the title of **Warden of the Sealed Path**.

Yet even that title was not left untouched.

The moment Sevaroth reached the extreme of the Path, the Cosmos sealed the very Warden Path it had just acknowledged in him.

It was not a reward.

It was mockery.

As if the Cosmos itself was telling him that the Path he had spent eternity mastering was never truly his to begin with.

For a moment, Sevaroth simply stared at the title.

Then he laughed again.

The irony was almost impossible to describe.

The very Path that had been forced upon him was now the one he had mastered beyond the reach of ordinary beings.

Yet it changed nothing.

He still could not free himself.

That was the boundary he could never cross.

The Path of Sealing was not something Sevaroth had originally chosen. It was born from the chains placed around him. His understanding of it could become perfect, but that perfection did not transform it into the innate power he had been denied.

And because of that, Sevaroth encountered the same wall that separated Wardens from those who had gone beyond them.

His brothers and sisters continued their ascent.

They stepped past their Warden Titles and reached heights Sevaroth could only watch from afar.

He remained behind.

Not because he was incapable of mastering a Path.

He had mastered one more completely than almost anyone else could imagine.

The problem was that his greatest Path was also the proof that the Cosmos had succeeded in defining his existence.

That became Sevaroth’s greatest tragedy.

He eventually became the strongest Crypt Titan in existence.

There was no second one.

No other being shared his species, and no successor ever appeared to inherit his name.

Across the entire Cosmos, Sevaroth stood alone.

And despite that distinction, he was still considered one of the weaker members among his Firstborn siblings.

Not because he lacked intelligence.

Not because he lacked determination.

And certainly not because he lacked mastery.

He had simply been denied the freedom that the others were born with.

The Cosmos had given him a prison and forced him to spend eternity becoming its greatest architect.

So Sevaroth continued to search.

Somewhere within the countless seals surrounding his existence remained the being he had once been.

The Cosmos had erased his history.

It had hidden his birth.

It had turned his body into a vessel and buried the truth beneath an age of forgotten records.

But it had never succeeded in making Sevaroth accept his fate.

And somewhere, deep beneath everything the Cosmos had sealed away, the original Sevaroth was still waiting.

---

"..."

A long silence followed.

All of Luke’s excitement from earlier had completely disappeared.

His eyes remained fixed on the description before him, reading about a Titan whose entire existence had been erased from the universe.

A Titan who had been sealed away.

Yet even after being reduced to such a state, he had never surrendered.

Instead, he had turned his own prison into his teacher and learned the forbidden art of sealing from it.

And even then—

The universe had sealed his Warden Path as well.

As if everything he had learned was nothing more than a cruel joke.

A mockery the cosmos itself was making toward that hidden observer.

"But... he still hasn’t given up." Luke muttered those words while slowly releasing a deep breath.

He had never imagined that he would encounter something like this.

Yet it also left him with a question.

"The System has always given me perfect things."

He paused, remembering all the previous rewards and Titans it had given him.

"It has described them as perfect many times."

His brows furrowed.

"So what about this time?" The question slipped from his lips.

Luke was genuinely impressed by Sevaroth.

There was no doubt about that.

But compared to the other Forbidden Titans, Sevaroth was the weakest.

And even worse—

His path itself was flawed.

"So why did the System give me this?" Luke rubbed his chin thoughtfully, his gaze becoming more serious.

Then, after a moment, he decided to stop wondering for now.

"Well, let’s see what he has first." With that, Luke opened Sevaroth’s ability information.
