After Marrying 5 Yandere Wives, I Obtained a 10,000x Return System
Chapter 385: Eight Peak B-Ranks Attack One Vorthar Clone!
One of the commanders roared toward Luke, prompting the others to raise their weapons.
"ATTACK HIM!"
FWHOOOOOSH!
Eight attacks immediately crossed the battlefield, including gigantic axes, a spear, concentrated curses, and other powerful techniques aimed directly at Luke’s main body.
The surrounding air distorted beneath their combined force, and several nearby Orcs hurriedly moved aside to avoid being caught in the attacks’ path.
However, Luke wasn’t fighting alone.
BANG!
The Vorthar clone possessing the black halo suddenly appeared between the incoming attacks and Luke’s main body.
He crossed both arms in front of his chest, while the black halo behind his head released a wave of dense Void Energy.
"Void Horizon!"
OHHHHMMMM!
A dark spatial layer immediately formed in front of the clone, stretching the distance the eight attacks needed to cross before reaching him.
BOOOOM! BAAAAANG! BAMMMM!
The attacks slammed into the distorted region, generating a series of violent shockwaves as their destructive power struggled against the spatial restriction.
However, these were attacks from eight Peak B-Rank commanders using their strongest ancestral manifestations, far more powerful than the ordinary punches previously thrown by the hundred B-Rank warriors.
The incoming weapons continued advancing through the stretched space, gradually exhausting the protection provided by Void Horizon.
KRRRUMBLE!
The surrounding air trembled violently as the attacks finally crossed the remaining distance.
Then they struck the clone.
BOOOOOOM!
The combined impact blasted the seventy-foot Vorthar body backward, sending him crashing directly into the ground.
BAAAAAAANG!
The collision tore open the already damaged earth, scattering broken stones and debris while a thick cloud of dust erupted from the newly formed crater.
Several nearby Orcs staggered beneath the resulting shockwave, while the eight commanders watched the impact with satisfied expressions.
"HAH! THAT SHOULD TEACH HIM!"
Unfortunately for them, Luke’s main body barely reacted.
His rainbow-halo clone also continued maintaining the seals around the hundred B-Rank warriors, although the immense energy consumption was steadily weakening those restraints.
Meanwhile, the original Luke had already begun gathering Force for another Heaven’s Palm.
Seeing this, the commanders became confused.
’Doesn’t he care that his clone was just destroyed?’
However, before anyone could voice that question, a strange movement suddenly came from the crater.
KRRRSH!
The broken stones covering its center shifted.
Then a large hand emerged from beneath the debris, followed by the seventy-foot Vorthar clone rising to his feet.
"..."
The eight commanders stared at him.
Despite having received their combined attack, the clone’s body appeared almost completely unharmed, with only dust and fragments of shattered earth covering its surface.
"HOW?!"
"HE TOOK ALL EIGHT ATTACKS!"
Several commanders were visibly astonished, since even one of them would have suffered considerable damage after receiving such a powerful combined assault.
Yet the Vorthar clone had somehow endured it.
Unfortunately, before they could understand what had happened, the clone suddenly kicked against the ground.
BOOM!
Its seventy-foot body shot out of the crater, scattering the surrounding debris as it rushed directly toward Gurvak’s two-hundred-foot ancestral phantom.
Gurvak immediately turned toward the approaching Titan.
"YOU WANT TO FIGHT ME?!"
The Vorthar clone answered by driving its right fist directly into the enormous phantom’s face.
BAAAAAANG!
The blow struck Gurvak’s jaw, producing a powerful shockwave that spread across the surrounding clearing and sent loose stones scattering over the ground.
However, despite the force behind the punch, Gurvak’s head only shifted slightly to one side.
’What?’
The Orc commander became confused.
Although the clone possessed impressive durability, its actual striking power seemed considerably weaker than he had expected.
’That punch was only around Mid B-Rank.’
For a genuine Peak B-Rank warrior, particularly one enhanced by a two-hundred-foot ancestral phantom, such an attack was hardly threatening.
Gurvak’s confusion quickly disappeared, replaced by a savage grin.
"Hahaha! So you’re nothing but a tough punching bag!"
He immediately reached forward with both enormous hands, grabbing the clone’s arms before it could retreat.
KRRRKKK!
The phantom’s thick fingers tightened around the Titan’s wrists, locking them in place as Gurvak exerted his full strength.
"LET’S SEE HOW HARD THAT HEAD OF YOURS REALLY IS!"
Without giving the clone time to respond, Gurvak pulled it toward himself and brought his own head crashing forward.
BOOOOOOOOM!
The headbutt landed directly against the Vorthar clone’s forehead, releasing a violent shockwave that tore across the nearby ground and caused several surrounding Orcs to stumble.
KRRRRAAAACK!
The earth fractured beneath the two giants, while dust and broken stones were thrown outward by the force of the collision.
The clone’s head jerked backward sharply.
However, to Gurvak’s astonishment, it immediately returned to its original position without suffering any visible injury.
"..."
For a moment, Gurvak simply stared.
Then his expression changed as he finally understood what kind of opponent he was facing.
"This giant form has incredible defense, but its attacks are weak!" he shouted toward the other commanders. "ALL OF YOU, GO AFTER THE REAL ONE! I’LL KEEP THIS CLONE OCCUPIED!"
Hearing his words, the remaining seven commanders immediately turned toward Luke’s main body.
Several even began smiling again, since they had finally discovered what appeared to be a weakness in the Hero’s strange transformation.
"So that’s how it is!"
"THEN LET’S KILL THE ORIGINAL!"
Even Gorzak, watching from outside the dome, felt somewhat relieved.
"Hah! So that giant isn’t as powerful as it looks."
However, the Orcs had apparently celebrated a little too early.
"Kiki!"
A cheerful cry suddenly echoed from the ruined section of the clearing.
The commanders instinctively turned toward the source, where the twenty-five-foot crimson coffin had finally recovered from being thrown backward.
Kiki was looking directly toward Luke’s three bodies.
For some reason, it sounded particularly pleased with itself, as though it had finally completed the task Luke had entrusted to it.
Then its crimson body suddenly began dissolving.
FWHOOOSH!
The coffin collapsed into flowing black energy before disappearing from its original position.
Immediately afterward, pitch-black liquid armor began spreading across all three Vorthar Titans, covering their bodies as the familiar plates of Valzareth rapidly formed over their limbs, chests, and shoulders.
VMMMMMM!
The sudden change immediately drew the attention of the surrounding commanders, although none of them understood what Luke was preparing.
Gurvak, who was still holding the black-halo clone by both arms, suddenly felt an unexpected surge of strength coming from the Titan’s body.
’What?!’
The muscles beneath the clone’s newly formed armor tightened, and the force pressing against Gurvak’s grip increased considerably.
His expression changed.
’Its strength just increased?!’
Before he could respond, the space around the clone suddenly rippled.
FWHOOOSH!
The seventy-foot Titan disappeared directly from Gurvak’s grasp.
"...WHAT?!"
Gurvak instinctively tightened his hands, only to discover that he was holding nothing.
He immediately looked around, unable to understand how the giant had escaped his grip despite the ancestral formation restricting spatial movement.
Outside the dome, Vradok watched the sudden disappearance and released a troubled sigh.
"So he can still use spatial movement within the formation..."
Gorzak immediately turned toward him.
"What do you mean? Didn’t you say that barrier could stop him from escaping?"
"It can," Vradok replied, keeping his gaze fixed upon the battlefield. "The formation restricts spatial movement across its boundary, but it doesn’t completely suppress spatial techniques used within the enclosed region."
He paused briefly before adding, "The original ancestral formation possessed stronger spatial restrictions, but the version inherited by our tribe is incomplete."
Hearing that explanation, Gorzak’s expression became ugly again.
Kroghar also frowned, although he understood the problem.
Spatial manipulators had been exceedingly rare even during ancient times, and none of them had expected this D-Rank Hero to possess such unusual abilities.
Moreover, Luke’s Void Horizon relied upon manipulating the distance within space itself, making it particularly troublesome for a formation that didn’t completely suppress spatial interference.
Had the dome possessed the full restrictions of its original version, techniques such as Void Horizon would have been considerably more difficult to maintain, while internal spatial movement might have become impossible.
Unfortunately, their current formation couldn’t accomplish that.
"I just hope those commanders can kill him," Vradok finally muttered. "If capturing him proves too difficult, eliminating him will be enough."
Gorzak and Kroghar remained silent as they continued watching the battlefield, waiting to see whether their assembled forces could finally overwhelm the troublesome Hero.
Meanwhile, Emberlyn also continued observing from her concealed position, hoping Luke would find an opportunity to escape the dome so she could intervene without provoking the three A-Rank leaders.
The four Titan spirits remained quiet as well, understanding that Luke was now controlling three bodies simultaneously and couldn’t afford unnecessary distractions.
Even the System had fallen silent, showing little interest in the battle compared to the matters involving women that normally attracted its attention.
