After My Rebirth, My Husband Pampers Me Everyday!
Chapter 302: A REGULAR SEX OFFENDER
The second punch landed before Xue Peng could protect himself. His head snapped to the side, and the force of it sent him sprawling across the bed, his phone slipping from his hand and hitting the floor with a dull crack.
Pain spread across his cheek as he tried to push himself upright, but the alpha gripping his shoulder shoved him back down, leaving him gasping as the taste of blood filled his mouth.
"Still want to pretend you’re innocent?" the lead alpha asked, staring down at him.
Xue Peng’s breathing shook as he struggled beneath the man’s grip. "I told you what happened." His answer earned him another shove, and his shoulder struck the mattress hard enough to make him wince.
The man grabbed his collar and pulled him upright, forcing him to meet his eyes.
"You keep repeating the same thing as if saying it enough times will make it true."
"I didn’t lie." Xue Peng’s voice was barely audible, but the words were firm despite the fear in his eyes.
The alpha’s expression darkened, and another fist drove into his stomach before he could say anything else. Xue Peng’s body folded instinctively, all the air leaving his lungs as he struggled to breathe.
The alpha released his collar, allowing him to fall forward onto the bed. Xue Peng curled inward, one arm wrapped around his stomach while the three men stood over him.
His chest rose and fell unevenly, and when he finally managed to lift his head, there was no sympathy on their faces.
"Look at him," one of them scoffed. "He was so confident when he was blaming his cousin."
"I wasn’t blaming him." Xue Peng forced the words out through the pain. "He did it." The room fell silent for a moment, and the lead alpha crouched in front of him, studying his face as though he were trying to decide whether there was any truth left in him.
"You really don’t know when to stop, do you?"
Xue Peng lifted his head despite the pain.
There was fear in his eyes now, but beneath it was anger, too. He was angry that they had decided his pain was something they could debate, angry that strangers were dissecting the worst part of his life online, and most of all, angry that nobody seemed willing to believe him.
Yes, he had raped Guiying; he enjoyed hearing him beg and cry beneath him.
But they didn’t know that; the post said Guiying was the culprit, they should be on his side.
"I don’t care what you think of me," he whispered. "I know what happened." His voice trembled, but he refused to look away. "I didn’t choose any of this. I didn’t ask for it."
The alpha grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him upright again. "You should have thought about that before you dragged everyone else into your mess." Xue Peng’s eyes widened as he shook his head, his hands trembling against the man’s wrist.
"I didn’t drag anyone into anything."
"You did the moment you started making accusations."
"He hurt me! The fuck! Why aren’t you venting your anger on him?!"
The words tore out of Xue Peng with enough force to silence the room. His chest heaved as he stared at the men, tears gathering in his eyes despite how desperately he tried to hold them back.
He wiped them away with the back of his hand and swallowed hard.
"I didn’t choose any of this," he repeated, his voice quieter now. "I didn’t ask for any of it."
One of the alphas looked away, his expression becoming uncertain for the first time. The lead alpha noticed the hesitation and glanced towards him before returning his attention to Xue Peng, whose swollen face and trembling hands made it difficult to ignore how frightened he actually was.
His phone suddenly vibrated.
The lead alpha looked down at the screen and saw another wave of notifications from Weibo. The anonymous post had spread far beyond the dormitory, and someone with a much larger account reposted it, sending the discussion into a whole new level of chaos.
"What?" one of the others asked.
The lead alpha turned the screen towards them. "Look at this."
Thousands of comments had appeared beneath the repost, with people arguing over whether Xue Peng was lying while others demanded that Yang Entertainment respond.
Several comments called for the company to terminate his contract, while others insisted that the allegations against Guiying needed to be investigated.
The lead alpha looked down at Xue Peng again. "You see this? Everyone thinks you’re lying."
Xue Peng turned his face away. "I don’t care."
"You’re lying."
"I’m not."
The alpha’s patience snapped. He grabbed Xue Peng by the hair and forced his head back, making him cry out as his fingers tightened around the strands.
"Say it again."
"I’m not lying!" Xue Peng’s voice shook as he tried to pull away. The alpha held him there for another moment before releasing him, and Xue Peng immediately brought both hands to his head, breathing hard as he tried to steady himself.
One of the other men shifted uneasily. "Enough. We’re going to get into trouble if someone finds out."
The lead alpha turned towards him with a cold laugh. "And you think I care?" He gestured towards Xue Peng, whose body had curled protectively against the bed.
"Look at what he’s done. He ruined his own reputation, dragged his family into the middle of it, and now everyone is fighting over which version to believe. Believe me when I tell you, I was there when other Omega trainees were complaining of Xue Peng’s behavior, a regular sex offender, and you think he’s telling the truth?"
Xue Peng clenched his fists, but in his head, he was screaming. Just how much did they know? They might beat him to death at this point. "I’m innocent; they are the ones trying to bring me down."
"Everything about you is trouble."
The lead alpha raised his hand again, and Xue Peng instinctively flinched, lifting his arms to protect his face. The blow never came. Instead, a loud knock sounded against the broken door, and all four men froze.
A man’s voice came from the corridor. "Company security. Step away from him."
The lead alpha slowly lowered his hand as the other two men exchanged nervous looks. Two security officers appeared in the doorway, their expressions hard, as one reached for his radio and looked directly at the men surrounding Xue Peng.
"Everyone step away from Xue Peng."
The three alphas hesitated before finally backing away. Xue Peng remained on the bed, his face swollen and his shirt wrinkled from being grabbed, while one of the security officers stepped inside and surveyed the damaged room.
"Medical team to the dormitory," he said into his radio. "We have an injured trainee."
The lead alpha scoffed. "Injured? We barely touched him."
The officer’s eyes hardened. "Save your explanation for the police."
The room went silent.
Xue Peng’s head snapped up. "Police?"
The officer looked towards him. "Your manager called them."
Xue Peng’s expression went blank.
His manager?
He hadn’t called anyone. He hadn’t even managed to reach security earlier, which meant someone else had noticed what was happening and intervened before the situation got worse.
Before he could ask another question, his phone vibrated from the floor.
Everyone looked down. The cracked screen lit up with a new notification.
It wasn’t a message.
It was a Weibo alert.
Yang Entertainment has just issued an official announcement concerning Xue Peng.
Nobody moved.
The lead alpha stared at the screen while Xue Peng’s blood ran cold.
Whatever Yang Entertainment had decided, he knew that the announcement was about to change the situation again, and this time, he had no idea whether the company intended to protect him or throw him away.
