Once spoken, words were like spilled water; she couldn’t just take them back.

But Sang Mo and the others would definitely cause a scene if it was for a whole month straight.

So, Bai Zhi thought for a moment and said, “How about this? Can we do just weekends? The weekends for the next two months will be yours.”

Hu Yan reluctantly agreed. “I suppose that’s acceptable, but I have one condition.”

Bai Zhi asked reflexively, “What condition?”

Hu Yan said, “What I just did is off the table for everyone else.”

At his words, Bai Zhi’s eyes went wide. ‘What did I just hear?’

Hu Yan had just pulled a stunt like that himself, and now he was barring everyone else from doing the same.

Devious! He was just too devious!

It was so shameless that even Bai Zhi couldn’t stand it. “They’ll never agree to that.”

Hu Yan just said meaningfully, “Don’t worry. They’ll agree.”

She didn’t know what Hu Yan had said to them, but in the end, they had actually agreed.

However, it was as if they had all conspired together. Every day, they tried to seduce her in new and inventive ways. One moment, Sang Mo would be strutting around in front of her in some sexy outfit; the next, Yue Junxiao would transform directly into his beast form and burrow into her arms—though Sang Mo and the others would occasionally drag him away.

Yan Yichen even stuffed his Phoenix tail into her hands, wanting to pluck his most beautiful feather for her. If she hadn’t refused, Yan Yichen would have given her enough tail feathers to make a fan.

In short, their competition for her affection was bizarre and varied. Whether eating, strolling, or shopping, at any given moment, there was nothing they wouldn’t dare to do—only things she hadn’t yet imagined.

Whenever they went out, they could argue for half an hour just to decide who would walk beside her.

In the end, Bai Zhi would just leave by herself, and only then would they stop.

For instance, if she wanted to eat some fruit, one of them would immediately start peeling, another would wash it, and a third would even offer a piece directly to her lips.

Incidents like this happened endlessly. Bai Zhi went from being unaccustomed to it all to her current state of mind: ‘Go on, fight. Fight all you want. I’ll go with whoever wins.’

If you can’t beat them, join them—that was her, alright.

A month later, Bai Zhi’s galaxy was also successfully established.

Since she was taking a high-end approach, it was mostly friends bringing friends, all from major families.

The results were so good, but Bai Zhi’s price was also incredibly steep: one hundred million Star Coins for a single session, a guaranteed upgrade with no side effects. She was typically booked from the beginning of the month to the end.

Even Bai Zhi hadn’t expected business to be this explosive.

Many families even began treating it as a perk for the geniuses in their clans.

In just one short month, Bai Zhi had made a fortune.

In contrast, after Yun Xi and her group arrived on the Main Star, word got out that they knew nothing about the Endless Sea Area. They were hunted down, and now their lives on the Main Star were miserable.

Bai Zhi suddenly recalled what the original owner’s father had told her: that when she grew up, she should take the Blue Soul Stone and open the Endless Sea Area.

Bai Zhi suddenly grew curious. What exactly was hidden inside the Endless Sea Area that made so many people desperate to find it?

So one day, Bai Zhi decided to go to the Endless Sea Area with Hu Yan and the others.

The Endless Sea Area lived up to its name—a sea with no visible end that felt as if it could swallow all life.

Bai Zhi redeemed a state-of-the-art submarine, the safest model available, from her system.

The group boarded the submarine and began their descent.

The deeper they went, the darker it became.

After an unknown amount of time, Bai Zhi and her companions finally reached the location marked on the map.

To everyone’s surprise, beneath the Endless Sea Area lay magnificent architecture.

They exited the submarine.

As soon as Bai Zhi drew near, the Blue Soul Stone around her neck began to glow brightly before flying up of its own accord to guide her.

Bai Zhi placed the Blue Soul Stone into the corresponding recess, and the door instantly opened.

The walls were carved with various murals.

Hu Yan immediately understood their meaning. “These connect to your father’s blueprints.”

Bai Zhi immediately took out the blueprints, and sure enough, they matched.

Following the clues from the blueprints and murals, the group finally navigated the maze-like structure and found the location marked on the plans.

The moment the great doors swung open, they revealed a chamber piled high with countless treasures of gold and silver, mountains of gold coins, innumerable heavy weapons, blueprints for even more heavy weaponry, and various other secret items.

Lang Qiu stared at the hoard that filled the thousand-plus-square-meter space. “No wonder so many people wanted to find the Endless Sea Area,” he murmured. “Finding this place is like discovering a nation’s treasury and armory all at once, not to mention all its hidden secrets.”

Yue Junxiao couldn’t help but ask, “Who on earth built all this?”

Hu Yan shook his head. “We haven’t been able to find much. Most of what we know is legend and hearsay. The only thing we can confirm is that this place is real, and that Bai Zhi’s father was one of its builders.”

They searched the entire place and found a few more items.

These items, much like many of the things Bai Zhi had produced before, were far beyond their current technological level.

‘This only confirms it,’ Bai Zhi thought. ‘Her father most likely built this place specifically for the original owner. First, he chose five powerful Beast Husbands for her, and then he paved the way for her future, just waiting for her to grow up and claim it all.’

‘As long as she didn’t do anything stupid, she would be set for life.’

‘And as for her system and the original owner’s father,’ Bai Zhi mused, ‘I have a vague feeling there’s some kind of inexplicable connection there too.’

‘But no matter the truth, I’m the one benefiting from it all.’

Thanks to these discoveries, the Federation leaped forward to become the strongest nation.

A few years later, the Emperor abdicated, and Hu Yan succeeded him to the throne.

Sang Mo chose his moment, luring Bai Zhi back to the Black Domain to soak in a spring said to alter one’s constitution and increase fertility. But in the end, Hu Yan still beat him to the punch.

A month later, Bai Zhi vaguely sensed that something was off with her body.

Her belly was starting to swell!

All of them started arguing.

Sang Mo said confidently, “The cub in our wife’s belly is definitely mine.”

Yue Junxiao shot back, “It’s mine!”

Yan Yichen declared, “It’s obviously mine.”

Hu Yan’s lips curved into a slight smile, but he didn’t join the conversation.

Until a few months later, when Bai Zhi gave birth to a small fox cub.

Sang Mo stomped his feet in a rage. ‘Shouldn’t it have been his egg?’

‘How could it be Hu Yan’s fox cub?’

Hu Yan just smiled, basking in his silent victory.

They had no idea. Bai Zhi carried his mark; therefore, the first child she bore would inevitably be his.
