"Go get some rest." Leng Zimo took the cleaned coffee pot from her and placed it in the cabinet, "Leave the rest to me."

The maid blushed slightly, "How could I be so bold as to... I still need to bring the midnight snack to the madam."

"I’ll take care of it, I’ll come down after delivering it anyway." Leng Zimo smiled at her, "Go ahead, I know you’re not feeling too well today."

Luo Ke frowned as he looked at the data on the computer screen, but his eyelids felt heavy.

He released the mouse in his hand, leaned back into the chair and rubbed his temples, then straightened up again, yet still felt his eyelids drooping, weariness washing over him.

Frowning at the empty coffee cup on the table, Luo Ke stood up from his chair.

It was only a little past eight, how could he be so tired?!

Feeling unable to continue working, Luo Ke shut down the computer, got up, left the study, and went straight up to the third floor living room he shared with Luo Xiaoqian, approaching her door and knocking.

"Coming!"

Luo Xiaoqian responded as she opened the door.

So early, Luo Ke generally was working, she initially thought it was Leng Zimo delivering her midnight snack, and opened the door with a happy expression, only to find it was Luo Ke.

"Luo Ke?"

"What, are you disappointed to see me?" Luo Ke noticed the strange expression in her eyes.

"Just... a bit surprised, aren’t you supposed to be working today?" Luo Xiaoqian was a bit nervous.

Why did he come to her room so early?!

"Not much, just reading a book and then watching the sea from the balcony." Luo Xiaoqian held the door, not indicating any intention to let him in.

There’s really nothing entertaining here, to prevent her from seeing news, Luo Ke had turned off the satellite of the TV, and of course wouldn’t let her use computers; she could only read some books or watch the sea.

"I’m really sorry, Sissi." Luo Ke heard the resentment in her tone, "Tomorrow... first thing tomorrow morning, we’re going back to Rome."

"But..."

"It’s decided, tomorrow I won’t work, we’ll just have a good time out." Luo Ke raised his hand to rub his temples, "Rest early, see you tomorrow."

He could hardly hold on anymore, why was he so tired today?!

Waving her goodbye, Luo Ke walked towards his own room, casually closed the door, didn’t even shower and sprawled out on the bed, soon falling deeply asleep.

His door wasn’t closed tightly, it slowly opened. Luo Xiaoqian looked in curiosity, from the open door she distinctly saw Luo Ke sprawled out on the bed, looking as if he was asleep.

Looking at Luo Ke’s room across, Luo Xiaoqian hesitated on whether she should retreat to her own room, or go over to shut his door.

Just as the door closed, the living room door was gently tapped.

The knock was firm and light, from that rhythm, she immediately recognized it was Leng Zimo.

Feeling tense, Luo Xiaoqian quickly walked over, opened the door, then raised her palm to gesture for him to be silent, and pointed to Luo Ke’s room, indicating he was inside.

Leng Zimo glanced at Luo Ke’s room, then stepped inside.

"Shh!" Leng Zimo raised a finger to signal her to be silent, he closed the door behind him, and gently placed the tray he was carrying on the table.
