Chapter 2417: Chapter 611: Brilliant Life

Huang Kaiwen rang the doorbell, carrying two bottles of red wine.

The door was opened by a young girl, whom Huang Kaiwen immediately recognized as the professor’s daughter.

"Hi!"

Huang Kaiwen raised his hand and said.

Ah!!!

The girl screamed and ran away.

The professor, standing over 190 cm tall, hurried downstairs, and seeing Huang Kaiwen, he said with some surprise, "Kevin, why have you come? Please, come in!"

Huang Kaiwen handed over the two bottles of red wine with a smile and said, "I heard that every time after a match with Sir Ferguson, you both drink together. I hope this season you can invite him to enjoy the wine after you win."

The professor took a look and saw it was white wine from Alsace. He laughed and pointed at Huang Kaiwen, "So you especially brought me Alsatian white wine, huh?"

Huang Kaiwen shrugged without saying anything.

The professor pulled him inside and seated him on the sofa, calling out, "Annie, make some tea. The girl you saw was my daughter, Lia, she might have been a little excited to see you."

"I can understand that."

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

"You didn’t come today just to make sure I win against that red-nosed old chap, did you?"

The professor teased.

Huang Kaiwen replied, "I’ll be sure to relay what you called Sir Ferguson."

"Better not," the professor raised his hands, assuming a surrender pose, "I don’t want him to heckle me at the post-match press conference; you know how petty he can be."

Mrs. Wenger was a blonde beauty.

Although her face showed signs of aging, it was obvious she was quite pretty in her younger days.

She helped place Huang Kaiwen’s teacup and after pouring tea, said, "When Arsene was coaching in Japan, he learned the Oriental tea drinking habits. Later, he dug into some Chinese materials and often tells me about the history of these things. Every time I make tea, I can’t help but think of it."

"Things with time and depth are always more fascinating."

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

"Perhaps."

Mrs. Wenger finished making tea for the two of them and returned to the kitchen.

"I’ve been packing my bags; are you planning to personally escort me to Milan?"

Professor Wenger.

"Of course not, I’ve got a 200-meter prelim tomorrow."

Huang Kaiwen replied.

"By the way, I saw your Olympic performance and have some new ideas about your playing style."

The professor said eagerly.

"That’s great; I’m hoping to try some new things myself."

Huang Kaiwen responded.

The professor stood up, grabbed a notebook, and began jotting things down, saying, "I think you can reduce personal breakthroughs, get the team flowing, act as a wing playmaker, and use your movement to link up the team."

Huang Kaiwen nodded.

Isn’t this the style of the French team’s Griezmann?

"I’m fine with anything, just depends on the team’s needs."

Huang Kaiwen said.

"Good, I’ll discuss specific tactics once I see my players."

The professor suddenly asked, "I recall Milan’s training has started, right?"

"Yes."

Huang Kaiwen nodded and replied.

"Then let Inzaghi come back to Milan with me."

The professor said.

Huang Kaiwen immediately nodded and agreed.

His Majesty is in trouble.

Getting named by the new coach right off the bat.

He quickly took out his phone to call Neo and asked him to bring Inzaghi over.

About an hour later, the professor was ready to leave.

Inzaghi was already outside, waiting with a forlorn face.

"Simone Inzaghi?"

The professor asked in Italian.

Inzaghi’s expression worsened as he cast a pleading look at Huang Kaiwen.

Even though he had long achieved financial freedom.

In the soccer world for so many years, he had a natural fear of coaches.

Especially such a famous coach like Wenger.

The professor put an arm around Inzaghi’s shoulder, saying, "Tell me about your vacation, I know quite a few directors who might be interested in your experiences."

"Boss, are you considering joining the Holy Roman Empire?"

...

In the afternoon, Huang Kaiwen was already home.

He was still watching the TV broadcast on TV.

With the signing of the professor, both AC Milan Club and the Rossoneri were quite excited.

This is the confidence brought by the professor’s past performance over the years.

Inzaghi and the professor stepped off the private plane one after the other, with Inzaghi ostentatiously waving, as if he had personally gone to London to sign the new coach.

Gagliani ignored Inzaghi, he and Maldini went up to greet the professor, handing him the team scarf.

Once the professor donned the scarf, they promptly led him out.

Gagliani said, "There are quite a few fans here today, mentally prepare yourself."

"Don’t worry."

The professor nodded and said.

But once out of the airport and in the car, he realized just what "quite a few" meant.

He suspected the entire population of Milan City was there.

Both sides of the street were crowded with people.

Most importantly, fans had set off a large number of fireworks, the air was filled with red smoke, and visibility was quite low.

Though accustomed to grand scenes.

The enthusiasm showcased by the Rossoneri truly exceeded that of North London’s fans.

They roared as they waved the fireworks and team flags, jumping and shouting the professor’s name.

"Arsene, Arsene, Arsene..."

This was the most enthusiastic the Milan fans had been in recent years.

While Guardiola was good, his coaching tenure was too short, and his status in the soccer world far below Wenger’s. At that time, the Rossoneri felt he was unworthy of the team.

As for Wenger.

This is a world-renowned coach.

More importantly, his team played beautiful soccer, conquering fans worldwide.
