Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things

Chapter 515: Planar Source, Multiple Universes

In the distance, the sounds of fighting and roaring still echoed endlessly.

But a strange silence had fallen over the spot where the Councillors were gathered.

Everyone stared, dumbfounded, at the Rule Origin Crystal in Pei Ze’s hand. Their heads were ringing, and it took them a long moment to come to their senses.

No one had expected that Pei Ze actually possessed a second Space Rule Origin Crystal.

“How is this possible?!”

Pan Mo practically spat the words through gritted teeth, his expression a mask of shock and disbelief.

He had a divine body as his foundation, yet he had only managed to refine a single Rule Origin Crystal.

Even if Pei Ze had a Secret Technique, it should have been impossible for him to create two Rule Origin Crystals.

This thing wasn’t like a Magic Item or a potion that could be carried around. It had to be integrated into the body and constantly nurtured.

Because of that, this power, which surpassed one’s own level, would inevitably place a massive burden on both body and soul.

‘How could a Sixth-level Wizard possibly bear the load of two Rule Origin Crystals?’

Pan Mo simply couldn’t fathom it.

What he didn’t know was that the conversion method deduced by the Eye of Omniscience was inevitably the most suitable one for Pei Ze; it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call it tailor-made.

As a result, the burden on his body and soul was naturally greatly reduced.

It was a good thing Pan Mo didn’t know Pei Ze had a third Rule Origin Crystal in his body, or he’d surely be questioning his own existence right about now.

Pei Ze had no intention of explaining. After a scornful smile, he abruptly crushed the Rule Origin Crystal and then reached out his hand.

Following his movement, the void around Pan Mo suddenly distorted, instantly forming a translucent giant claw that swooped down on him.

The fear of death instantly enveloped him. Pan Mo let out a furious roar, his eyes looking ready to pop. He tried to retreat and dodge, but was horrified to discover that the space around him seemed to have solidified, forming a cage that bound him tightly in place, rendering him unable to move even a single inch.

Utterly horrified, he could only muster all his strength and blast it at the incoming giant claw!

BOOM!

A roar that threatened to shatter eardrums suddenly erupted.

The wave of energy rushing toward them caused Xi Nan and the others’ vision to suddenly go dark.

In their shock, they all mobilized their Soul Power to defend themselves against the violent shockwave that followed.

When their vision cleared, they stared intently only to find the spot where Pan Mo had been was completely empty. There was no sign of him.

Five hundred meters away, Pei Ze hovered in the air, the Spatial Rule Origin from his body having long since dissipated without a trace.

The single strike, condensed from an entire Space Rule Origin Crystal, had annihilated Pan Mo on the spot with overwhelming force, leaving not even a bone behind!

The crowd stared blankly at the scene before them, speechless for a long time.

Xi Nan, in particular, felt a wave of lingering fear.

‘If Pan Mo had directly used his entire Death Rule Origin Crystal from the start, I would probably have been reduced to dust by now.’

‘Power at the eighth-level is this terrifying!’

Having dealt with Pan Mo, Pei Ze gazed toward the distant sky.

The battle between Mu Yuan and Lady Fungi was still ongoing. A somber night sky and bizarre fungi each occupied half of the heavens.

The power gap was too vast, so Pei Ze couldn’t tell what stage the battle had reached.

In reality, however, Lady Fungi’s heart had already sunk.

‘Pan Mo was actually defeated!’

Lady Fungi was extremely vexed. She hadn’t expected Pan Mo to lose even after playing his trump card, the Rule Origin Crystal.

‘That young Wizard is just too bizarre!’

‘Who has ever heard of a Sixth-level Wizard killing a Seventh-level Wizard?!’

‘Oh well, it’s for the best that Pan Mo is dead. The contract is void now, so I don’t have to confront Chenxi City head-on anymore.’

The fungi in the sky abruptly retracted, vanishing completely in the blink of an eye. Lady Fungi’s figure reappeared.

“Mu Yuan, Pan Mo is dead. Your objective has been achieved, so there’s no need for us to continue fighting.”

The somber night sky still shrouded the heavens.

Mu Yuan’s figure slowly emerged, his cold gaze fixed on Lady Fungi.

“You harbored Pan Mo and didn’t hesitate to go to war with us. Now you want to stop just because you say so? The world doesn’t work that way.”

Lady Fungi sneered, “Then what do you propose? With your strength, you can’t defeat me at all. I can simply leave Shedakra for a while. You can’t possibly stay here forever, can you?”

Mu Yuan fell silent, his expression grim.

As much as he hated to admit it, he truly had no way to deal with Lady Fungi.

The rules of the Abyss were vastly different from the material world. Aside from Evil Demons and a few other creatures of the Evil Faction, other races were not suited for long-term survival here.

Otherwise, the Star Realm Alliance would have conquered several layers of the Abyss as its territory long ago.

Chenxi City’s army would eventually have to withdraw from Shedakra. All Lady Fungi had to do was hide for a while and return after they left.

As for Shedakra’s army of demons, Lady Fungi wouldn’t feel the slightest bit of pain even if they were all wiped out. At worst, she would just have to spend more time cultivating a new one.

If there was one thing the Abyss wasn’t short on, it was demons. They were everywhere.

In the current situation, Lady Fungi truly had nothing to fear.

Seeing Mu Yuan’s silence, Lady Fungi grew even more smug and giggled coquettishly. “It seems you agree with my proposal. In that case, why don’t we…”

Halfway through her sentence, her words suddenly turned into a blood-curdling shriek.

Lady Fungi instantly shifted more than ten meters sideways, but she was still a step too slow. A sudden spatial collapse devoured more than half of her body. Her right shoulder and everything below her waist vanished, leaving only her head, left shoulder, and a small part of her chest.

Through the cross-section of the wound, the fungi inside Lady Fungi’s body were clearly visible.

These fungi writhed madly, seemingly trying to grow and spread to form a new body, but the wound was covered by a faint, distorted light that continuously devoured the newly grown fungi.
