After thinking for a moment, Alex decided to throw his cards away as well.

He revealed them.

The eyes of the other players widened in shock.

All four Aces had appeared, which meant there were no more Aces left.

“Hahaha, interesting,” Paul said.

He continued betting. The others did the same.

As for Violet, she simply waited with her eyes closed, as if she had no interest in watching.

Paul ended up as the winner.

Violet only opened her eyes when the next cards were dealt.

She looked at her cards.

Three of Hearts and Nine of Diamonds.

It wasn’t impossible to win with these cards, but it was certainly difficult.

This time, Paul was the first to bet, immediately raising the bet to 50K.

Pa!

Violet slammed her cards onto the table, sending them flying onto the floor.

The dealer frowned at her action.

“Miss, please be more careful,” the dealer politely reminded her.

“I’m quitting!” Violet replied as she stood up.

“Oh? You want to quit after winning just once?” the middle-aged woman immediately mocked her.

Violet frowned.

BANG!

She kicked the gambling table. It was supposed to be firmly attached to the floor, but it wasn’t merely sent flying into the air—it actually smashed through the ceiling.

Everyone was stunned by the sight.

“Miss Muller, what’s wrong with you?” Paul asked.

He naturally knew that Violet had already reached Level 30. The information about the Turtle Formation had been reported to him as one of the higher-ups of the Association.

However, he himself was only Level 29. Naturally, he knew that he wasn’t Violet’s opponent.

The reason he held such a high position was because of his management skills. That didn’t mean he was stronger than the other Awakeners.

If he were much stronger, why would he bother managing the Association?

Just like Rebecca, she had automatically become one of the higher-ups of the Awakener Association because of her strength, yet she acted however she pleased.

As for Alex, he quickly left.

Seeing Violet cause such a commotion, he knew that she hadn’t come here to gamble.

“What’s going on here?”

A door on the floor suddenly opened.

Wyatt appeared with an angry expression.

He was no longer injured, probably having recovered with C-Regen. For him, even C-Regen Level 2 was enough, and it was relatively cheap.

Unfortunately, the moment he saw Violet, all of his anger disappeared.

He couldn’t maintain it even if he wanted to.

There was only one thing he wanted to do now—turn around, close the door, and run as far away as possible.

He had just encountered the young man who had exploded with terrifying strength, and now he had encountered Violet, who was even more frightening.

Wyatt thought that he would have to remember this day as the worst day of his life.

Shua!

His body was violently pulled toward Violet by several tiny threads that were almost impossible to see, even though Violet wasn’t hiding them.

BANG!

Wyatt finally landed in front of her on his knees like a miserable dog, his head slamming hard against the floor before he lifted it again.

“Miss, what are you doing?” he asked with a miserable expression.

“I don’t know…” Violet replied with a cold smile. “I just happened to pass by and saw this casino. Then I realized that this was where you were.”

Wyatt: “…”

“Miss Muller, please calm down…” Paul tried to intervene.

“I’m always calm…” Violet replied, causing Paul to swallow nervously.

It was true. Violet was always calm.

Paul wondered if this young woman’s expression had ever changed.

“Mr. Walton, I won’t do anything excessive. Don’t interfere in my business. I just want to know the truth.” Violet spoke indifferently before pulling Wyatt away as if he were a piece of trash.

She dragged him toward the door he had emerged from.

It was his private office, which was connected to the offices used by the casino employees.

Violet closed the door after dragging him inside, then released the threads so that he could move freely.

She then sat on the main sofa and crossed her legs.

“You don’t want to die, do you?” she said.

Wyatt felt like crying when he heard that.

But as a grown man, how could he cry so easily?

“What do you want?” he asked.

“Tell me the organization’s plan,” Violet replied.

“I only know that they want to capture you. They’ve done this many times before, but now that you’ve become stronger, perhaps they’ll stop.” Wyatt answered.

“Tell me who your superior is—the one planning this.”

Wyatt fell silent when he heard that.

“You don’t want to tell me?”

Violet casually stepped on the table.

CRACK!

The table shattered, and the force continued through the floor beneath it until the level below became visible.

“Simon Roberts!” Wyatt finally answered after a moment.

He didn’t want to take another beating.

“Who is Simon Roberts?” Violet asked.

“He’s President Roberts’ son.”

“Ohhh… Where is he?”

Even Enzo didn’t know what the President’s son looked like.

Although he was the President’s son, he was known for being secretive.

“I don’t know. He wanders around and only appears occasionally. He’s also a Level 40 Awakener,” Wyatt replied.

Upon hearing Level 40, Violet frowned.

This wasn’t someone she could beat right now.

“How much money do you have?” Violet asked again.

Wyatt’s cheek twitched.

“After what you did, do you think you can get away with this by simply taking a beating?” Violet stared sharply into his eyes. “You have to pay for peace. Your casino should have plenty of money.”

“No, the money here belongs to the players as deposits. I still have to return the money to those who win…” Wyatt trembled.

“How much can you give me?”

“10 million dollars.”

“Are you kidding? Is your life only worth 10 million dollars?” Violet couldn’t believe that this man only had 10 million dollars of personal money.

The casino was enormous, and everyone knew that casinos generated far more money than banks.

Having inherited the casino from his parents, Wyatt should have accumulated quite a lot of savings.

“50…” Violet held up five fingers.

“This is already me showing you mercy. Transfer it now!”

She placed her phone in front of him, displaying her bank account number.

Her sharp eyes remained fixed on him.

Wyatt’s lips twitched several times. His hands trembled uncontrollably.

Although he had a lot of money, he only owned one casino.

Losing 50 million would still hurt, even if he could afford it.

But this was the only way he could obtain the peace he desperately wanted, especially since all of this was the consequence of his own mistake.

Ultimately, it was all because of his own greed.

He had accepted the organization’s task because of the enormous reward.

If he succeeded, they would help him open a new casino in New York, something he had dreamed about for a long time.

But not only had he failed, he would also lose the capital he had planned to use to open the casino.

“Fiuh!”

He let out a soft sigh before finally taking out his phone and making the payment.

After suffering twice in one day, he wanted nothing more than some peace.

When the money was transferred, a smile appeared on Violet’s cold face.

She took her phone back and left.

When she returned to the gambling room on the third floor, it was still quite crowded.

Everyone seemed curious about what had happened.

Of course, Alex Muller was already gone.

But Paul was still there.

He stared curiously at Wyatt, who stood inside his office with a frustrated expression.

Paul could guess that Wyatt had lost a huge amount of money.

Seeing the smile on Violet’s face, there was no way it was only a few million.

Violet went down to the second floor, and the people there weren’t really sure what had happened.

They couldn’t go up to the third floor, but they could see the hole in the ceiling.

Violet quickened her pace, and by the time she reached the first floor, her figure had already disappeared.

Not long afterward, Enzo walked out of the café while patting the dust off his pants.

He was still smiling because he had gained an additional 50 million dollars.

However, even his total wealth was nothing compared to the price of the Longevity Stone being sold for money.

Of course, Enzo had no intention of buying it with money.

There was still another way he could rely on to obtain it.

In a good mood, he continued walking even though his destination was the Sanctuary.

Walking that far didn’t tire him out at all. Even if he walked all the way to the westernmost part of America, he wouldn’t feel tired.

In less than an hour, he arrived in front of the portal, where there weren’t many people around.

He simply walked through it with a cigarette still between his lips.

Perhaps because he was moving too slowly, he spotted Paul here, walking hurriedly.

Of course, Enzo had no interest in following him.

He didn’t go to the prison building either. Instead, he headed toward the quiet castle district.

Soon, he saw Rebecca’s castle.

He knew she was inside because the windows were open, and one of the windows on the second floor had just been opened.

He saw Rebecca standing behind the window.
