An Awakener with the Gamer Class

Chapter 110: Emma's Residance

Enzo finished his work about two hours later.

He was slightly sweaty and couldn’t help wondering why he hadn’t seen Bella show up.

Was she still fighting?

“Hey, where’s Bella?” he asked his two friends, Layla and Mila.

“Bella went outside the Sanctuary.” Layla, the shorter one, answered, instantly changing Enzo’s expression.

“Who did she go with?” he asked anxiously.

The dangers outside couldn’t be underestimated. He knew that very well.

Even though Bella had obtained an additional Class A Talent, everything was still dangerous.

“She went with some seniors from previous years. They were paid to help her,” Mila answered.

After hearing that, Enzo felt more at ease, but he was still uncomfortable.

Seniors who accepted payment to help beginners generally weren’t that strong. If they were truly powerful, the cost of hiring them would be far too expensive.

He immediately entered his post.

He had a safe plan for Bella to go outside the Sanctuary.

He could rely on the portal so that she could return if the danger became uncontrollable.

But he thought Bella still hadn’t reached the level where she could go outside.

Violet appeared along with the portal.

At that moment, Violet stepped through the portal.

Enzo chose a random location for her, still within the area before the river.

Bella shouldn’t have gone too far either.

Violet immediately spread her Fluctuations to monitor a wide area.

Her range could reach the Sanctuary wall behind them and the river ahead.

The distance to the left and right was roughly the same.

She immediately spotted many people.

“Ehmm, over there!”

Violet spotted Bella as well.

Enzo breathed a sigh of relief when he realized Bella was simply resting beside a small lake.

She was accompanied by two women, one carrying a spear and the other carrying a bow.

Enzo had never seen them before, or perhaps he simply didn’t remember them.

Violet entered Invisible Mode before approaching.

She would secretly watch over them until they returned.

(Next time you want to go outside the Sanctuary, tell me first!)

Enzo sent a message to Bella.

It wasn’t delivered. He would have to wait until Bella returned to the Sanctuary.

Fortunately, he didn’t have anything else to do at the moment, so he could spend his time simply keeping watch.

After resting until her stamina recovered, Bella started moving again.

She looked far too excited.

She even asked the two women to take her to stronger Monsters. Fortunately, both of them were professionals and continued leading her toward relatively safe Monsters, such as stronger goblins.

Tok! Tok!

Enzo was so busy keeping an eye on Bella that he didn’t notice Emma arriving with lunch.

He stood up and opened the door.

This time, however, Emma didn’t force her way inside.

Several people were sitting not too far away, eating lunch and resting.

After all, she had arrived right during lunchtime, unlike yesterday when she had come earlier.

“Are you busy tonight?” she asked in a soft, quiet voice.

“No…” Enzo replied, looking at her curiously.

“Can we go out?”

“Of course…” Enzo didn’t refuse.

He smiled to himself.

Emma immediately left after that.

She looked happy and excited.

Enzo closed the door and returned to watching Bella while eating lunch.

Time passed quickly because he played games and continued smoking, completely immersed in the comfort of having nothing weighing on his mind.

Evening arrived, and Bella finally began her journey back.

She wasn’t injured in the slightest.

Enzo stopped watching her once she had entered the Sanctuary.

He also returned Violet to himself.

(Why do I have to meet you first? Do you want to come along? By the way, want to go to a hotel again?)

Bella’s reply arrived shortly afterward.

Enzo froze for a moment when he read it.

But he had already made plans with Emma, so whom was he supposed to choose?

Although Emma had her own charm, Bella still made him feel more excited because of the thrill of doing something naughty with his own cousin.

(Can’t tonight. There’s something I need to do.)

Enzo chose to keep his promise first.

There was a genuine relationship between him and Emma. He needed to take care of her feelings.

(Ohhh, alright. Tomorrow night, then. But why do I have to meet you first before leaving the Sanctuary?)

(I want to prepare something so you’ll be safer.)

Enzo replied.

(Okay, tomorrow then. I’ll go home now!)

Fiuh!

Enzo sighed before heading to the bathroom.

It wasn’t quite night yet when he received a message from Emma.

(I’m ready and I’ve gotten permission to leave!)

That was her message.

(Wait a little longer!)

Enzo replied.

He hadn’t even gotten dressed yet and was still thinking about what he should wear.

But since he was in a hurry, he eventually settled for a pair of short jeans and a casual gray shirt.

He still didn’t leave immediately, waiting until it was completely dark so fewer people would see them.

Only after night had fully fallen did he leave his post.

When he exited the Monster Prison, he saw the woman looking surprisingly different, leaning against the wall of a building.

Her appearance tonight immediately attracted people’s attention.

She wasn’t wearing her glasses and was using contact lenses to correct her nearsightedness.

Her hair was still braided into two sections, but the style was more elegant, with her bangs falling straight down and covering her forehead.

She wore a deep-black long-sleeved blouse along with a shimmering pearl necklace.

Her face was lightly made up, and her lips looked redder and brighter.

She was showing off her beauty. Of course, the others recognized her because they had seen her many times before.

They also knew that she would be extremely beautiful if she simply dressed properly.

But why was she dressed like this today?

She was simply looking at her phone, acting indifferent to every gaze directed at her.

(Wait outside!)

Enzo sent her a message.

It would cause quite a commotion if they left together directly, unlike when he was with Bella, which would be considered normal because they were close relatives.

Of course, if it were Charlotte, he would happily show her off.

Emma immediately left and headed toward the New York portal.

After stepping through the portal and appearing on the bridge, Enzo was quite stunned.

Emma was sitting on a black Ninja motorcycle, holding two helmets.

Enzo had no idea where she had gotten the motorcycle. Perhaps she had ordered someone to deliver it to her.

But seeing this, he couldn’t help but want to slap his forehead.

Fortunately, there weren’t many people around.

Those inside the Sanctuary hadn’t left yet, while those who wanted to explore Moba World at night hadn’t arrived yet either.

After thinking for a moment, Enzo still walked toward her.

He didn’t say anything. He took the helmet, put it on, climbed onto the motorcycle, started the engine, and sped off.

At that moment, he felt Emma’s arms wrap tightly around him.

“Where are we going?” Enzo asked.

“I have a private residence. Just go to the southern tip of Manhattan,” Emma replied.

“Is there a house there?”

“Of course…”

Hearing that, Enzo twisted the throttle harder.

The motorcycle’s top speed wasn’t enough to interfere with his perception.

Emma wasn’t afraid either. She simply held onto him even tighter.

Enzo was curious about what her private residence was actually like because, as far as he knew, the southern tip of Manhattan wasn’t a residential area.

He only followed the straight road, allowing him to accelerate the motorcycle to its maximum speed.

At that speed, the towering buildings around them looked like nothing more than shadows rushing past.

They reached the southern tip of Manhattan not long afterward.

The area was brightly lit, filled with magnificent buildings, from luxury stores, bars, restaurants, and cafés to various entertainment venues, all of them enormous.

This was clearly a commercial and nightlife district.

Many beautiful young women dressed in revealing outfits wandered along the sidewalks.

Even sports cars were parked all along the roadside.

“That’s it!”

Emma pointed toward a three-story box-shaped building that had literally been built over the sea, making the southern tip of Manhattan its front yard. It was surrounded by a tall steel fence and stood right beside the sidewalk where pedestrians passed by.

Many people had even stopped to take pictures.

The building had a harbor at the back, where a small luxury cruise ship was docked alongside several small yachts.

“That’s your house?” Enzo asked in surprise as he slowed down the motorcycle.

“Just go straight in,” Emma said.

As they approached, Enzo noticed the gate opening automatically, startling the people nearby.

Seeing that, he immediately accelerated the motorcycle into the building’s courtyard.

The gate closed automatically behind them.

Enzo stopped the motorcycle right in front of the terrace and removed the helmet from his head.

Although the building only had three floors, it was actually quite tall, almost the height of a five-story building.

Standing in such a crowded area, it could certainly be described as a unique residence.

Ever since they entered, they had already attracted the attention of people passing by outside the fence.
