Ancient Tears BloodLine
Chapter 1719: Part 2: Unexpected Threat Level
Main Battlefield
After speaking to the ancient spirit, I began to look at my surroundings. The last of the Jelloth creatures had died.
But the secret land was not pushing me out. I thought it would take a few minutes. I looked around before finding nearby bedrock.
I went to the bedrock and sat down. I began to speak with the ancient spirit. The conversation lasted for 15 minutes.
But the secret land still wasn’t sending me out. I felt something was wrong with the situation.
"What do you think?" I asked the ancient spirit.
The ancient spirit was paying attention to our surroundings.
Though it was speaking to me, Zack Lockwood, it had also realized that the secret land battle was not yet over.
"I think the battle is not over. You should start running the ancient healing technique," the ancient spirit said.
Hearing that, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. Then I began to run the ancient healing technique. The healing energy force entered my body.
I guided the healing energy force through my body. The healing force flowed through its pathways. The hidden injuries were being healed.
...
Outside,
The council elders were all watching the passage. The space crack on the foreign creatures’ side had not closed.
If the space crack on the creatures’ side closed, then they could close the space crack on their side as well.
Freya had a bad feeling about the situation. All the council elders had sensed that Zack Lockwood was still alive and that the hundred Jelloth creatures had been killed.
Though they couldn’t watch the battle, they could sense who was alive or dead. If Zack Lockwood were to be killed, the secret land would have opened.
If the foreign creatures were killed, then the space cracks on both sides would have closed.
Right now, the space cracks were not yet closed.
Elder Freya didn’t know whether she should be happy that Zack Lockwood had won the duel or worry that the battle was not over yet.
Zack Lockwood had set a record. For the first time in history, he had slain a hundred Jelloth creatures alone.
Freya didn’t know whether anyone had done this before. She thought even their founding ancestor was not this extraordinary during the Red Mark Rank.
Meanwhile, the other council elders were equally shocked, but they didn’t have time to rejoice or celebrate.
The old man from Dark Shadow University was shaken to the core as well. He could feel the result of the battlefield.
He had expected Zack Lockwood to do well, but he didn’t expect him to eliminate the Jelloth creatures without suffering serious injuries himself.
They could tell that Zack Lockwood’s vitality was strong. It had not taken a hit.
Meanwhile,
The Red Mark Warriors inside the training camps were practicing hard. Those who were taking a break couldn’t help but think about the battlefield.
It had been hours, but they hadn’t heard anything about the main battlefield. They discussed it with their friends and understood that the battle was not over yet.
This caused widespread shock among them. They knew Zack Lockwood was fighting alone inside the main battlefield.
They didn’t know whether Zack Lockwood was going to survive the battle in the end. They knew about the night cell tower record.
But the main battlefield was totally different. Most of the death toll happened there, and a high number of warriors were injured.
Only a small number of warriors were able to walk freely today, so they were all looking forward to the end of the battle.
None of them wished anything bad would happen to Zack Lockwood. If he died, their ending wouldn’t be any different.
The elders hadn’t found any better solution than Zack Lockwood, so the senior Red Mark Warriors were quite disappointed with the council.
Boom!
Just then, near the passage, a shocking change occurred from the space crack on the foreign creatures’ side.
Human-faced creatures started entering the passage in large numbers. They were third-ranked creatures.
They ranked below the second-ranked creatures, yet their numbers were much larger.
The human-faced creatures were heading toward the main battlefield. The blood drained from the Council Elders’ faces. The situation did not look good at all.
Things were going beyond their control.
They hadn’t expected human-faced creatures to appear as well. They were as dangerous as the Jelloth creatures.
Their numbers went beyond a hundred, eventually reaching two hundred. Only then did the space crack on the foreign creatures’ side close.
If Zack Lockwood won the battle, then the space crack on their side would be closed as well.
But they didn’t know whether Zack Lockwood had the strength to fight against 200 more creatures.
If other Red Mark Warriors had entered the battlefield instead of Zack Lockwood, they would have lost the battle completely.
The Red Mark Warriors on their side would have faced a complete wipeout. Now, 200 more creatures had entered the battlefield.
It would have been overkill for them.
....
Main Battlefield
I was resting on the bedrock when I felt a tremor from the ground. The ground was shaking a bit.
That only happened when the foreign creatures were marching forward to the front.
"So the battle is not over yet," I muttered.
"I told you before. The foreign creatures have clearly devised a plan to eliminate you here on this main battlefield," the ancient spirit said.
A hint of coldness appeared in my eyes. I put the white bone staff inside my storage ring, then stood up.
I used my mental power to scan my surroundings. I picked up the presence of the foreign creatures, moved to the front, and waited for them to arrive.
Boom!
A shockwave spread outward as the foreign creatures got closer. My senses picked up to 200 foreign creatures.
Tension appeared on my face because these were not ordinary creatures. They were third-ranked human-faced creatures.
First it was the second-ranked Jelloth; now the third-ranked human-faced creatures had appeared. The battle was going to be severe this time.
"Be careful!"
"Don’t underestimate them," the ancient spirit said.
Even the ancient spirit was serious. I had exhausted all my inheritance force except for the sealing force. I decided to use the sealing force carefully.
It was the only way to destroy them.
