Hou Yizhen carried the unconscious boy into the mansion through the back entrance connected to the garden. The door was locked, but a servant was stationed inside to guard it. After knocking, Hou Yizhen identified himself.

The servants of the Wei family’s main residence were all familiar with him. As one of their young master’s closest friends, Hou Yizhen was a frequent visitor to the mansion. The moment they recognized his voice and confirmed his identity, they hurriedly opened the door and ushered him inside.

However, their attention was soon drawn to the small animals following closely behind him. The servants hurriedly tried to shoo them away, not daring to let the little creatures wander into the mansion.

After dealing with the animals, they escorted Hou Yizhen and the unconscious boy to a guest room on the second floor.

"Bring a fresh set of clothes for him," Hou Yizhen instructed.

Once the servants had left, he closed the door and carried Lin Feng to the bed, carefully laying him down. He then turned towards the windows.

Outside, several birds had already flown down and were perched on the balcony railing. They seemed reluctant to leave, as though they were waiting for an opportunity to follow them inside.

Hou Yizhen’s expression changed slightly.

He walked over and shut the balcony doors, making sure they were firmly locked. He then went around the room, checking every window and securing each one before finally returning his attention to the boy on the bed.

Looking at that unfamiliar yet strangely captivating face, his eyes grew complicated.

"Just who are you, really?"

Unfortunately, Lin Feng was still unconscious. Even if Hou Yizhen wanted answers, there was no way to get them out of him right now.

Not long after, the servants returned with the clothes. Hou Yizhen took them and carefully changed Lin Feng out of his wet clothes.

Under different circumstances, having such an opportunity to undress the boy might have stirred certain thoughts in him. However, at this moment, he was in no mood to entertain such desires. His mind was occupied by far more pressing matters.

After making sure Lin Feng was dressed in dry clothes, he pulled the blanket over him and stood beside the bed for a while.

The boy’s face was peaceful in sleep, completely unlike the strange series of events that had brought him here.

Hou Yizhen stared at him for a moment before finally taking out his phone.

Once the call connected, he gave his subordinate a direct order.

"Investigate my nephew, Lin Feng. I want to know everything about him, from his childhood until the day we found him in the mountains. His personality, hobbies, background, daily activities, the people he associated with... Everything. Don’t overlook even the smallest details."

Outside, the guests were still scrambling into the Wei family’s Versailles-style mansion, desperate to get away from the animals.

Amid the chaos, however, someone noticed that the animals were beginning to leave.

It started with those furthest from the mansion. They had been drawn here by a strange energy, an invisible force that had compelled them to gather around the estate. But that force had already disappeared. Only its lingering influence had kept the animals moving towards the mansion.

Now, several minutes later, that influence was finally fading.

The birds hovering above the estate were the first to disperse. Their wings beat against the air as they scattered in all directions, quickly disappearing into the distance.

Beyond the estate’s tall walls, the wild boars, deer, and foxes also began to come to their senses. The dazed expressions in their eyes gradually cleared. Some pawed at the ground, while others looked around in confusion before turning back towards the mountains. One by one, they disappeared into the surrounding forest.

The small animals within the estate grounds soon followed, scattering into the bushes and flower beds.

Finally, the enormous tornado of butterflies began to unravel. Countless colorful wings separated from the swirling mass, fluttering through the air like a shower of multicolored snowflakes. They gradually dispersed across the mountainside, returning to the flowers from which they had originally come.

Just like that, the commotion came to an end.

The estate fell silent, and the world seemed to return to normal as though nothing had happened.

Only the overturned tables and chairs, shattered glasses, and wine-stained lawn remained as evidence of the extraordinary incident.

Inside the mansion, the guests were slowly recovering from their shock.

They exchanged bewildered glances, unable to make sense of what they had just witnessed.

"What on earth just happened?"

"Did I just hallucinate?"

"How could all of us have the same hallucination?"

Someone muttered under their breath, looking around at the packed banquet hall.

The guests were still visibly shaken. Some had yet to catch their breath, while others were busy discussing what they had seen, each trying to make sense of the unbelievable scene outside.

The animals had appeared so suddenly and left just as quickly. By the time everyone had managed to escape into the mansion, they had already begun disappearing.

Had it not been for the mess outside, some might genuinely have wondered whether they had just experienced a bizarre dream.

But the young men and women who had been recording the banquet with their phones knew better.

Some had captured the entire incident on video, while others had been livestreaming when the animals suddenly appeared. Now that the danger had passed, they finally had time to look through their recordings.

The footage was astonishing.

Wild animals gathering around a private estate in unprecedented numbers.

Countless birds circling above a mansion.

An enormous tornado made entirely of colorful butterflies.

It was a sight that seemed to belong in a fantasy movie rather than the real world!

Young people were very adaptable, and their imaginations and desire to show off were also insurmountable.

Excitement quickly replaced their earlier fear.

One after another, they uploaded their recordings to social media, eager to share what they had witnessed.

Within a short time, sensationalized titles began appearing alongside the circulating footage:

[Breaking news! Thousands of wild animals suddenly storm the Wei family mansion during a birthday banquet!]

[A sea of butterflies fills the sky above a luxury estate! Is this a natural wonder or something beyond explanation?]

[The internet is going wild over the Wei family’s birthday banquet! Birds, butterflies, and wild animals gather peacefully in one place, creating a scene straight out of a fairy tale!]
