After dinner, Lin Feng went with his aunt and his cousin to one of Beijing’s most prestigious luxury salon spas.

The spa occupied several floors of an exclusive building in the city’s most prosperous district. The exterior was elegantly decorated with Oriental-style elements and ornamental plants. A golden plaque hung beside the entrance, while two impeccably dressed attendants stood nearby to welcome the guests.

Soft lighting illuminated the marble floors, while fresh flowers were arranged throughout the reception area. A subtle fragrance of white tea and sandalwood filled the air, accompanied by a faint, gentle melody.

The entire place was designed to make people feel relaxed.

At least Lin Feng felt his body slowly relaxing.

This place reminded Lin Feng somewhat of ancient times, when they leisurely spent their time in vacation houses, enjoying the sounds of nature and the fresh air from the mountains.

They were led to a private VIP suite.

When the doors opened, Lin Feng saw a spacious lounge decorated in warm ivory and muted gold. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the glittering city, while a small indoor garden occupied one corner of the suite.

Beyond the lounge were separate treatment rooms, a private bathing area, and a salon equipped with everything needed for beauty treatments.

The suite was so quiet and comfortable that Lin Feng almost forgot they were still in the heart of Beijing.

Wei Ranmiao let out a sigh. It was only at this time that her dignified posture finally showed a hint of exhaustion.

"This salon is my favorite. I always feel comfortable here."

"It does make you forget your worries," Lin Feng sighed in agreement.

The aunt and nephew looked at each other and smiled.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and even their usual formalities seemed to disappear. There was no talk of family obligations or the endless complications of life outside.

They had come here simply to enjoy themselves.

Soon, several attendants arrived to start the treatments. After the initial consultation, they were each taken to their respective changing areas.

The robes provided were made of fine cotton. They were soft and lightweight, with a smooth, almost silky texture.

As Lin Feng slipped into one, it felt as if the fabric were cool water being poured on his skin. He found himself relaxing almost immediately.

As the former Madam Lin, Lin Feng had always been accustomed to being pampered.

Even after transmigrating to this era, Lin Feng was still well cared for, and he gradually became familiar with the comfortable lifestyle of the modern era.

Now that everyone surrounded him while he was being attended to so thoroughly, Lin Feng completely felt at home, gracefully raising his arms and face.

It was as if he was born to be served, without any awkwardness at all.

Yet the gentle and soft smile on his face made the people serving him feel that it was only natural, and their movements became even more thoughtful and gentle as well.

The treatment room was softly lit, with a heated bed beside a small table where several bottles and glass containers were neatly arranged.

After helping Lin Feng settle down, a warm towel was placed over his face to loosen his almost non-existent pores, followed by a gentle cleansing treatment.

The products felt cool against his skin, and the faint floral fragrance blended with the warmth of the room, which was very comforting.

Lin Feng gradually closed his eyes.

The aesthetician’s movements were light and unhurried. A gentle massage followed, easing the tension around Lin Feng’s temples and jaw. When she moved on to his scalp, her fingertips traced slow circles through his hair, applying just enough pressure to make Lin Feng feel as though the tension in his body was slowly disappearing.

Lin Feng hadn’t realized how tense he had been until his body finally began to relax.

His shoulders loosened, and his breathing gradually slowed.

This was even better than the way her maids served her in ancient times.

For a while, Lin Feng emptied his mind of all the thoughts that had been filling it.

There was no need to worry about what would happen tomorrow or whether he had overlooked some important detail. He didn’t need to anticipate someone else’s reaction or prepare himself for an unexpected conversation. He did not need to worry about finding the best way to make amends.

All Lin Feng had to do was lie there and enjoy the gentle warmth beneath him and the soothing movements of the aesthetician’s hands.

It was surprisingly pleasant.

By the time the treatment ended, Lin Feng felt as though he had taken a long, uninterrupted nap without actually falling asleep.

"Your skin is quite good, Young Master Lin," the aesthetician remarked as she applied the final layer of moisturizer. "You don’t need any intense beauty routine; just simple skincare, gentle hydration, and proper rest will be more than sufficient."

The boy rose up leisurely and tilted his head to smile, and for a moment, the aesthetician’s heart trembled, and her throat felt dry.

What a beautiful and alluring person!

Soon, the fully relaxed Lin Feng, along with Wei Ranmiao and Bai Jianning, sat together. The atmosphere was vastly different from that during the daytime. Right now, they seemed almost boneless, with a languid and leisurely air, enjoying the warm room with a cup of tea.

"This is how life is supposed to feel," Bai Jianning sighed as she slumped on the comfortable couch.

They spent the next half hour chatting in the lounge, sampling the refreshments, and discussing which treatments they might try on their next visit.

No one thought it was odd that Lin Feng, a boy, was very naturally involved in the conversation. He even shared a few ancient recipes he had read in medicinal books.

Before leaving, the spa staff presented each of them with a carefully arranged set of skincare products suited to their individual needs.

Their belongings had already been collected, and their coats were waiting in the private dressing area.

Outside, the night air was cool.

Lin Feng looked out the window. His body was pleasantly relaxed, his mind quiet, and his heart inexplicably light.

The brightly lit streets of Beijing stretched into the distance.

He rested his head against the seat and watched the passing lights.

At the Wei family’s birthday banquet, he looked forward to seeing a certain person. He was certain that the man would be present there.

Lin Feng was looking forward to seeing him again.
