As Gargantua flailed its arms, the rusted metal joints in its knees and elbows stretched wide open. The toxic green sludge sloshed away from the hinges. The pure, bare metal of the inner joints was exposed to the air.

"Its joints are opening up!" Naomi called out. "The toxic shield is separating when it loses balance! The armor has gaps!"

Princess Iris saw the opening. She raised her silver rapier. She knew they had to strike right now.

"We need to push it further!" Princess Iris commanded smoothly. "We need to expose those joints completely! Luna! Use your wind! Knock it over!"

Luna stood near the back of the group. The gray-haired girl did not look sleepy anymore. She did not yawn. She opened her eyes wide. She looked focused.

"I can push it," Luna stated simply.

The team was working perfectly together. They used the environment to disable the monster's defense. They trapped the giant beast in a slippery bowl. Now, they were ready to unleash their counter-attack. The 13th Unit was proving their incredible tactical brilliance, and the lazy slacker in the corner was enjoying the show.

---

Gargantua thrashed wildly inside the deep glass trench. The massive Solurius Behemoth could not find any traction. Its rusted steel boots slipped constantly on the smooth, melted glass. The giant monster wobbled back and forth. The toxic green sludge dripped uselessly onto the slippery floor.

Luna stepped forward. The gray-haired girl wore her simple clothes. She stood perfectly straight. She raised both of her hands toward the giant monster.

She did not summon tiny sparks of yellow lightning. She did not create sharp, slicing wind blades. She knew sharp magic would just dissolve against the toxic radiation. She needed blunt, massive force. She needed to act like a giant invisible wall.

"Wind Blast," Luna commanded softly.

Luna channeled a massive amount of wind mana. A gigantic, solid column of fast-moving air erupted from her hands. The wind roared loudly. It sounded like a raging hurricane inside the underground laboratory.

The solid wall of wind slammed directly into Gargantua's massive chest.

The attack did not try to pierce the steel armor. It did not try to cut the beast. The wind simply pushed. It applied a massive amount of sheer, blunt kinetic pressure against the monster's upper body.

Gargantua was already struggling to stand on the slippery glass. The massive wind blast hit its chest perfectly. The monster's upper body tilted backward.

Its giant steel boots slipped out from under it.

The Solurius Behemoth lost its balance . The beast stumbled violently backward. Its massive arms swung through the air in panic. It tried to grab the edges of the trench, but the wind pushed it too hard.

"It is falling backward!" Zinia cheered loudly. The strong earth mage pumped her fist in the air.

As Gargantua flailed its arms and legs, the thick steel armor plates shifted. The rusted metal separated to allow the limbs to move wildly. The toxic green sludge splashed away from the inner workings of the monster.

The bare, unprotected metal hinges of its knees and elbows were exposed. The joints did not have any toxic radiation shielding them.

Naomi saw the perfect opportunity. The fierce vanguard leader did not hesitate for a single micro-second.

"I am going in!" Naomi shouted clearly.

Naomi dashed forward. Green wind magic swirled rapidly around her combat boots. She moved with blinding speed. She became a fast green blur across the ruined white tiles. She leaped directly over the edge of the glass trench.

She flew through the air. She aimed perfectly for the monster's flailing right leg.

Gargantua tried to swat her away. But the monster was too busy falling backward. Its movements were clumsy and slow.

Naomi reached the exposed knee joint. She spun her twin silver daggers. The metal blades glinted under the flashing red emergency lights. She did not hold back. She used every single ounce of her physical strength.

She sliced her daggers directly into the rusted, unprotected metal hinge.

SHING. SHING.

The strikes landed perfectly. They landed clean.

The silver blades cut deep into the bare metal of the joint. Bright orange sparks flew into the air. The daggers did not bounce off this time. The toxic sludge did not melt her weapons. She hit the weakest point of the armor.

Gargantua let out a deafening, mechanical screech. The sound was full of pain.

Naomi kicked off the monster's leg. She flipped backward through the air. She landed safely on the solid ground outside the trench. She skidded slightly on the white tiles. She kept her balance perfectly.

A loud, awful cracking noise echoed from the monster's leg.

The damaged knee joint buckled . The rusted metal snapped under the immense weight of the beast. The right leg folded inward at a unnatural angle.

Gargantua could not stand anymore. The monster collapsed downward. Its massive body crashed against the walls of the glass trench. The impact shook the entire laboratory. Dust rained down from the ceiling.

Ken Eliot sat on his broken piece of concrete. He watched the massive monster collapse. He popped a gummy worm into his mouth. He chewed it slowly. He sagged his shoulders. He smiled a big, goofy smile.

"This is fantastic," Ken analyzed casually in his mind. He slid his hands deep into his pockets. "The stagger meter is full. The boss is officially stunned. This is the best part of any video game. The boss just sits there and takes damage. You get a massive multiplier. You just press all your buttons at once. It is very satisfying."

Ken looked at Naomi. He felt very proud of her. She executed the strike flawlessly. She did not panic. She waited for the perfect opening.

"Naomi is definitely the top damage dealer in this party," Ken noted lazily. "She has incredible critical hit timing. I am very glad she is on our team. She does all the running for me."

Princess Iris watched the giant monster crash into the trench. Her violet eyes shined with hope. The strategy worked perfectly. They bypassed the immune phase. They broke the creature's balance. They damaged its armor.

"We did it!" Laxmi cheered loudly. The fire user bounced on her toes. "We broke its leg! It looks like a giant, clumsy turtle!"

Sayma pushed her glasses up. She opened her notebook. She clicked her silver pen rapidly.

"The creature's mobility is severely compromised," Sayma reported politely. "The structural integrity of the right knee is ruined. The glass trench is maintaining its slippery surface. The monster cannot generate the necessary friction to stand back up."

Gargantua thrashed in the hole. The giant arms slammed against the glass. The glass cracked slightly, but it did not shatter. The beast was grounded. The bright green core on its chest pulsed rapidly. Thump. Thump. Thump. The core sounded frantic.
